The selection is amazing !!!! Its the employees who need to be fired. When i have a job where you are constantly engaging with the public who is obviously coming inside to make a purchase which i did. I spent $88 here tonight but i would have spent twice that amount if the employee working knew how to conduct himself and talk properly. Not 2 mins inside the establishment and the employee started yelling at myself and my friend who was accompanying me. He told us we needed to hurry up, but we had only been there two minutes. He said we were not allowed to browse. First elfbar 2d barcode led me to a scam website (elfbar-tech or something close to that), and without opening it, I asked for a real one. Next "real" one I bought didn't work correctly, good thing I opened it and checked right away. So he replaced that one with the final one and wouldn't let me test the charging port, saying they don't have any USB-C chargers in the building. One of my favorite smoke shops in town with friendly and cool owner/ staff and they do good or I should say great buisness and friendly when u have questions about some of the rad items u might want to buy there and need info about. I acknowledge that there may be many smoke shops that carry certain artists work and are "authorized dealers" but if you are looking for something that specific you probably aren't reading yelp reviews to decide whether or not to go to which smoke shop. In any case, I have my other smoke shops where I buy certain specific products, but when it comes to consistently great customer service and a well-stocked inventory of almost everything you can think of, Harbor Smoke Shop is the best head shop in Orange County as far as I am concerned. Mostly because of their consistent customer service and also because of their inventory and hours. Harbor Smoke shop is an exceptionally well operated business. I have frequented this establishment for a few years now, drawn in time and time again because they are open 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Granted there are a handful of other head shops open 24 hours a day, my experience with these has generally been negative because these businesses know that in the wee hours of the late night or early morning the chance of you going elsewhere are quite unlikely and therefore, they seem to gouge in terms of overpricing basic items. That was my experience until I discovered Harbor Smoke Shop. The owner knows that there are limited other headships open 24hours a day yet the prices remain lower than most all other shops not just the ones open 24hours a day! Additionally, this business -- more than any other I can think of -- seems to genuinely care about their patrons' requests, opinions, wants, needs etc. and the head shop responds to their patrons by directly fulfilling patrons' wishes. This demonstrates how Harbor Smoke Shop honestly listens to their clients and improves the shop and selection accordingly. Despite essentially always being busy (ie at least two to ten customers shopping the shelves or coming in and out) the individuals working have always been warm, welcoming, courteous, respectful, genuinely caring and wanting to help, and pragmatic. They may be extremely tired working who knows how many hours in a row and they may not speak the most perfect English (occasionally there is confusion because either they struggle to understand me or I struggle to understand them) nonetheless, this smoke shop feels so much more comfortable thanks to the employees who sincerely appreciate their customers. Finally, (a point I feel is worthwhile as so many other stores in general have this problem), when deciding what to buy here, I have never been upsold to spend more money -- in fact, last night the cashier helping me basically helped me to realize that although I was about to change my mind and buy a more large and expensive piece, the cashier reminded me that now is not the right time as I had mentioned I was going on vacation the next day. Super awesome service! I've never had someone this nice and do something like this for me. I came in because I had lost my charger for my battery so I went in and asked if he has any screw ons and he took out a bin to show me, and even looked for the right specific one. Unfortunately he was out, but I bought the cheapest battery he had and then left. Although upon testing out the battery with my cartridge when I got to my car, I noticed the connection wouldn't work with the firing pin so it was basically useless. I went back inside to explain and asked if I could get a replacement or buy a new one if I had to. He found a battery that worked and had me test it out to make sure before I leave, and when I asked for the price he took back the one that wouldn't work with my cartridge and let me keep the other for an exchange. I got to the smoke shop at 8am today but the doors are locked and there's no employees inside.... They have a big sign saying that they're open 24/7 so I'm not sure what's going on. I'd understand if he was on a break but usually they'd put up a sign indicating that and when they'd be back. Update: I decided to look through their back window and sure enough there's a guy sitting down lol. Once he saw me he waved for me to come in through the front. I needed a new vape and asked him the price of the elf bar and he told me $22 after tax.... I never ask for receipts but I had a gut feeling he charged me more than that. Once I got the receipt and looked at the amount I was charged, it said the total amount was $28.47 after tax. It indicated that it was $27.64 before tax, so I'm kinda mad since he told me it costed $22... do you guys think it's worth it for me to go back in and relay this all back to him, or do you guys think he's going to give me a hard time and come up with some sorta absurd explanation? I'm a very mellow dude, the last thing I would do is get all up in the dudes face and tell him how much I disliked his service.... I plan on walking in to remind him about the $22 price he told me regarding the disposable elf bars, and simply ask him why I got charged $28.47 as politely as I can. I don't expect him to say "you know, you're right! I'm so sorry for overcharging you like that, let me go ahead and issue you a refund and then recharge you based on the amount that I originally told you that it would cost" but hey‍ he can either be cool about it or he can throw some sorta excuse since he doesn't want to go through the whole 3-5 ish minute hassle of resolving this issue. Rating based on description only. This is not what I would consider a vape shop. This is more of a smoke shop, cigarettes and other combustibles. There were some kits in the case and some coils and a small variety of e-liquids, but this is a very truncated selection. Great for cigs and bongs and hookahs, not so much if you're on a lunch break looking for a particular brand or flavor of nic-salt or parts for a specific get up. I walked out with kind of a sketchy bottle of nic salts and man this is making me cough furiously with identical set up and settings and nothing different. When I used to smoke, friendly service and good place to go close to work etc. But, yeah unless they devote more space and selection, it almost looks like they're phasing out vape supplies altogether. Sorry for the low rating, but for people like me who quit smoking and depend on our supplies, and with costs increasing for mail order, really need accurate info on Yelp pertaining to vaping.
