This is the third time I've sent clients there just for them to be closed during their posted hours. Yesterday I even called to see if they'd be open and what the hours were, homie on the phone said 10 am to 5 pm, I get a text from my client at 10:17 of her standing in front of a closed, dark door (yet again for her). I've officially given this Nutrishop its last chance. They do not honor their store hours as I've been here on multiple occasions during business hours and the door has been locked. The product mix has been severely limited and today the shelves looked empty. The person working wasn't polite. I thought when it changed owners I'd see an improvement but this is so sad. Every time I go during store hours between 4-5pm the store is closed. There needs to be someone to break the associate without having the store completely closed. Where are the employees and why is there no sign every time I've been here ?I try calling, multiple times and there's no answer. Came into this store unsure if i was going to get the 1 star or 5 star treatment everyone talks about on here. After coming here today, i'm absolutely positive i will NEVER step foot into this store again. I walked into the store and was greeted by some white male in his 20s and asked me if i had any questions regarding their products. I have been to multiple Nutrishop branches in Irvine, Tustin, and Corona so i was pretty familiar with the products that i usually get. I wanted to restock up on my BCAA sport, and decided to try out this location since it was close to me. I get to the cash register and show him a 15% off card for being a student, and he says alright and gives me another card for this specific location. So he rings me up and the total is $45, and i think to myself, why is it so expensive. I asked him just to verify that he applied the 15% discount and he said "yeah the price reflects the discount". I walk to my car and call a different Nutrishop to verify what the price would be after the discount. The guy from the Nutrishop in Corona told me BCAA sport retails for $45 but with the 15% discount it would come out to $38. I walked back into the store, literally 2 minutes after i just purchased it and asked for a refund. The cashier then asks me what the reason is for the return, and i tell him i can get it for $7 cheaper elsewhere. Now some of you might be thinking, wouldn't you know by the receipt if they gave you the discount or not? The answer is NO, they don't itemize anything on the receipt and just give you the grand total that you pay (you can see by the attached image, although it is a return it's still the same as the purchase receipt). This store is very deceptive, and took advantage knowing that their prices for their products aren't listed anywhere. He probably assumed i didn't know the price, so he tried to charge me full price thinking i would not know the difference if he applied the discount or not. He also didn't offer me any shirts/shaker cups with my purchase unlike the other Nurtishops i've been to. Also they have a fat/muscle body index machine, but they don't mention it to you. The Nurtishop in Corona has one and they offered to do my body composition as well as fill out a meal plan for me. I WOULD RATE THIS PLACE 0 STARS IF I COULD. THEY ARE DECEPTIVE WITH THEIR PRODUCT PRICING AND TRY TO SCAM YOU, DON'T OFFER YOU ANY SHIRTS/SHAKER CUPS/ DON'T GO ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. AVOID THIS NUTRISHOP AT ALL COSTS, there are far better ones in Corona/Irvine/Orange. This is by far the worst one i've been to, and i feel bad for all the customers who come here and probably get up-charged for their products because they don't know better. read more

I will never be returning to any Nutrishop again. When I walked into the store there were two workers there: a white male and asian female who doesn't look like she's ever picked up a weight before. They were both talking crap on a friend (or coworker?). Very unprofessional. I asked how much the Quest Bars were and he gave me a really short, rude answer. Thats fine, my question was pretty basic. So I pick up a box and tell him I wanted to purchase it. He decides that he needs to tell me how unhealthy they are. First of all I didn't ask for your advice, so don't give it. Just sell me my Quest Bars with a fake smile, please. Then the girl decides to randomly tell him (or me?) that she can't gain weight, she just keeps losing. ummm... ok? good for you? Went in to the shop today because I was interested in what they had to offer. I was greeted by one of the workers and he was happy to engage me in a conversation about supplements, my routine, what I took and questions I had. He was very patient with me while I asked him questions about different products. Each time he offered me his input/experience with a product and would give me helpful pointers and advice. In the end I was unsure about a product so he said that I could try a sample that way I could be sure it was something I was ready to invest in. He had no problem giving me a shaker bottle with the supplement poured into it to have for free. It was refreshing to receive great customer service from a supplement store and not be given a cold shoulder by a beef head who looked down on you. Great place to shop. Has a perfect position in between the parking lot and 24hr. It's literally a hallway to the gym. That's how I first found it. But not why I continued to use it. The nutritional help and training advice I gained from this place was unreal. I was struggling to put on weight but after talking with john I managed to go up 30lbs in 9 months. Was sold a bunch of good products that I was looking for. Advice was given on other products that would help me reach my goals but not forced upon me left me to my own decision. I would like to first start off by thanking John. First for taking the time to talk to me, then teach me about different products and what would be useful and needed for my goals. While talking to John i never felt pressure to buy anything, in fact the first time to the store i bought nothing and received great advice. The second visit i bought Bcaa and metabolic spike, because i was doing research on them both and they were recommend. The next trip to the store i was encouraged to use the inBody and got a eye opening load of information. I again made no purchase and felt no pressure to do so. John took the time to explain how to obtain goals and set up a Nutrition plan for me. Not only a nutrition plan but a meal plan, with counting macros, WHAT?? ya i know right!! Over the course of the month i have checked in twice and used the inbody, not only have i made great progress in my fitness goals but ascetically I can see the change. Johns encouragement and motivation helps. I read the reviews and can't imagine this, as a regular Joe come in ask for help and receive it. I think the negatives are very few and it must be that those individuals have issues beyond this store. It's funny that there are so many good reviews for this joke of a shop. I'm 100% certain the good reviews are from friends of the employees since every time I've been in there, the employees are always just chit-chatting talking about frivolous, non-business related topics. Anyway, I went in today on a 15 minute break at work. Waited patiently for old boy (I think his name was John) to finish helping his customer. He finishes and asks me what i need help with. I tell him i need preworkout, and he starts to help me find a product that works for me (we're now 30-45 seconds into our conversation). Another employee interrupts us to ask him for something. Instead of telling her to hold on a moment, and FURTHERMORE, asking me to hold on a moment while he helped her, he just walked away from me to help her. No joke, I was dumbfounded. Who does that? How do you work in customer service and provide that poor of an experience? Anyway, I waited about another minute for him to return, but when I noticed he was helping another customer, I split. The store itself is well laid out and organized, and is located right next to a 24 Hour Fitness which can be convenient if you are a member.
