Margarita was amazing
Eileen A.

20 years I've been eating at the Harborview Café. I've had the halibut at least 10 times but something was off this visit. The sauce tasted burned. The fish was dry, and the serving was small. Something was lacking. The beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly tender, medium rare needed a little bit more seasoning peapods were crisp mashed roots are always the same.boring flavorless. I hope to see some new items on the menu, the margarita was amazing. I forgot to get the bartender's name, but she really put some love into that shaker.

Can't say I was impressed with the looks of the food so we only drinks and have to say they were lacking. bloody Mary was horrible. Menu is on a chalk board only. Buy it was clean and nice looking i side

Beautiful and delicious salad!

On a Friday night, we ate dinner at the Harbor View Cafe! Fantastic Old-Fashioned, a delicious meat and cheese tray, and then a phenomenal Braised Beef Roast with Balsamic Reduction and Blue Cheese! Loved the decor and the view!

The place lives up to the hype! All staff members were friendly and very attentive. Everything was very fresh with a variety of flavors and the view is delightful of the harbor. Be sure to check their Facebook page for their current menu as it changes frequently.

Chicken breast in champagne grapes on linguine

We walked by the tables outside of the Harbor View Cafe on our way to a different restaurant and a couple was sharing a decadent looking piece of carrot of cake. Yum! When we got to our destination and asked to be seated outside they said the deck was closed. So, we left and went back to the Harbor to eat outside. My husband and I shared the chicken breast in champagne grapes on linguine. Wow! Who would have thought warm, tiny grapes would be so delicious in champagne sauce with chicken?! such a large portion that even after splitting the meal we had left overs to take home. Desert? Of course! Carrot cake! We did have to order our food to go to eat outside but the waitress, who has been working there for 20+ years, brought our food to us. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view!!! Beautiful menu, nice servers and staff. World class restaurant is a beautiful setting.

Daily menu. Items go quick so plan to have a second option ready to fire.

Good news: They now accept credit cards. Same funky hours and days open. Call ahead. Food is still stellar.

Cafe de Paris - Waffle croissant

Honestly, I didn't think the place would live up to what I had seen ahead of time. The croissants…read morewere fantastic! I only stopped at the counter, checked out the offerings, and picked up a few things to go. The place was nice and charming but the seating didn't look too comfortable. Listen, it's not about the chairs. This is a gem of a cafe with excellent baked goodies and desserts. Indulge and enjoy!

Decided to give this place a try after being in the area. Quick review: Food was VERY tasty!…read moreService and ambiance... definitely lacking.... I walked in and saw you could either order on a large touch screen on with a person at the front. I don't mind touch screens, so I went to start my order. The problem is that there are no pictures... so you're not 100% sure what you are ordering. I stopped the order and walked over to the case to order with the employee instead. There was one woman in front of me and she got her items quickly. I ordered 5 items. (See pic below) All of them were fantastic! I really do judge a place by how well they can do a croissant, and this place does them very well!! The employees were very polite but for some reason my order took almost 15 mins to fill... I watched them pull the items from the case, so I'm not sure why it took them so long to do the order. There was only one other person who ordered after me and she had a drink and a box of pastries too... she received her items first. As for the space, it is bland and feels like an old Carribou coffee.... There really wasn't anything that felt "Paris or French" here. Very bland and not very cozy. If you plan on going(the food was very good) order it to go...
