What I loved the most was that my husband was able to navigate a good portion of the park with his walker. We parked in the north lot at first. There was a nice concrete path that led from the north parking lot across a fun bridge and almost down to the area where the senior playground is. The rest of the path was in gravel, which he was still able to navigate with his walker (probably will be difficult for some walkers, but his has four big wheels and a seat). He got plenty of exercise with his walk, resting now and then on his seat! I then left him at the senior playground to wait for me while I walked back, got the car, and drove down to the parking lot there. Then, I had fun using the equipment that was there, including the swing! Fun day, especially since my husband could enjoy it with me. Price for live shrimp is a bit more expensive than the competitors, but they did have them available when others didn't. Location is not off the feeder, but you just need to make a right off feeder. Entrance has a ramp going up, but you don't need to go down a ramp as the live wells are on the ground floor. You just need to go up the ramp to pay, head down to get the bait, and then head out around the other side of the building.

We wanted to do an early morning kayak, unfortunately they were all rented out until 4 in the afternoon. The evening kayak was perfect. The water was so calm, the weather was so nice. We brought beers for the kayak and stayed out on the water for a few hours waiting for the sunset. Make sure you remember where the dock is at! Bathrooms are hard to come across, so if you're drinking... best of luck to ya, luckily we docked at a random spot and I ran across a port-a-potty. What great luck! The sunset on the water is gorgeous. An experience that you need to put on your bucketlist.

It's a great place to exercise, spend time with family, or just enjoy being outdoors, this park has something for everyone. The walking trails are beautiful and perfect for getting steps in, especially around sunset or 5pm glow time. I also take my dog to the dog park pretty frequently and it's one of the biggest and cleanest dog parks I've ever been to. There's plenty of space for dogs to run and play. There is a big side and small dog side and the grounds seem that they are well cared for!
