My Pontiac G6 stopped driving forward suddenly, would only go backwards. I had my car towed to Harb's. They charged me $80 just to look at it, and didn't hesitate to tell me that my transmission needed to be replaced. I declined the repair and had my car towed home. Fast forward to today. I had it towed to Auto Repair Technology (they paid for the tow), then they checked and diagnosed it (for free). Within 30 minutes, they found the ACTUAL problem with the car and had it fixed and returned to me in one day... for a fraction of the cost! So Harb's had me pay $80 and they didn't even find the correct problem, and they were prepared to rebuild my entire transmission. Seems shady to me. Probably because I'm a woman. This weekend, I needed to get some car repairs done quickly and Harb's was willing and able to accommodate. It's so close to home that I dropped my car off and walked home! The price was reasonable, they did the work quickly, and to my satisfaction. i have been going to ronnie and his brothers shop for a little over a year. we found them by chance when my friend's cars engine failed and the tow truck brought her here. i was there waiting to pick her up and i got to talking to ronnie and found out an oil change is only $23!!!!! it takes a bit longer than the quick service places, but ronnie and his teams customer service make it all worth it i am in sales and drive 30,000 miles a year, so my car needs frequent work, especially since i bought a used car. he has put on new front breaks, new tires, numerous oil changes, and a bunch of other work i don't know by name (lol) and it was all quality work! i couldn't recommend them enough. they work quickly and genuinely care about your customer service experience read more

I would not take my car anywhere else. Ronnie and his crew are professional, reliable and honest. More than once they've taken my car in with little notice and get the work done quickly and correctly. And they don't try to sell you something you don't need--I've been told things like "your belts are staring to look a little worn, but you can wait til the next time--you'll be safe on the road the way they are now". Just purchased a car in the fall and at 20,000 my battery died. Had to get it towed to Harbs and get a new battery. Batteries on new cars are a tad on the pricey side. Randy one of the owners told me I should contact Chrysler as the battery is covered under their warranty. Never thought a battery would be covered and I had ended up at Harbs because the dealer in our area never returned my calls that morning. Well he was correct and I did get a 100% refund from Chrysler. If he would not have offered that good advice I would be out of pocket quite a bit of money. In a matter of 2 minutes he found 3 things that were wrong right in front of me!! Showed and explained everything. Repaired those things but still overheated. I have been going to Harb's since they opened. They have always gone above and beyond their job. They are always fair with pricing and extremely knowledgeable. I recently brought my car in after my tire felt weird. They weren't going to leave me not knowing what the problem was for my safety and didn't try to schedule me for an appointment later. They found out the person who serviced it used old bolts and were close to falling off. Thankfully they caught it before I was on the highway with my kids! A group of Genuine mechanics. Unlike the Firestone or Sears Auto, the mechanics here are very knowledgeable. They gave their best to find the problem in my car when others couldn't. They convinced me I needed a new serpentine belt. I got 30 miles away and my car started smoking and squealing, I turned off my heater and since then I've I had no Defrost or A/C. Their answer "that happens sometimes". Killed the compressor. Thanks Harb's. I've been driving around with no A/C since.
