Very BAD people and they SCAM their customers!!! I honestly do not recommend this place they will take thousands of dollars and don't even get the job right!! I was very disappointed when they changed my transmission and it still makes a noise and they can not do anything about it. Nobody was trying to help and everyone is putting blames on the other guy. The owner his name is Nick is very unprofessional with his customers. after me paying almost 5 thousand dollars and the transmission still makes a noise and they can't do ANYTHING about it. This shop is great. I needed a transmission done and they were willing to work with my budget. I did get the insurance to pay for it, so they were able to get me a remanufactured transmission instead of a used transmission. They took pictures for the insurance company when I needed it, and let the car stay there while I was in the process of my claim. They were very accommodating. I would use them again. read more

Had a transmission replacement. They found one that was a perfect match to what we needed. They also found a battery issue. Got a new battery at cost and just had to pay install. Skip and the guys are awesome. 2 months ago I got a wheel bearing done on my Impala and it was perfect. Then heard some noises the other day and took it up to Engine pros, Skip called back that day and said it was the one wheel bearing they just fixed so they fixed it and said it was on the house. Stop by this shop (transmission engine pros) because it was close to home. I talked with I believe his name was Todd. I talked with him a couple times and we came to a agreement and he told me to drop my vehicle off the next day in the morning. So that next day I went to drop it off and I talked to the owner Skip, that's when it all went bad. He said I seemed concerned about money (who doesn't) and proceeded to tell me the price only included the rebuild and labor, that there could be other things he could find wrong with my vehicle. So, I questioned what else and how much more could it cost, I also mentioned I'd be paying cash if that could help the cost at all. I know that by paying by credit the company is charged a service charge. That's when Skip had a fit and told me I worry about money too much and he didn't want to work with me anymore. I guess that's the difference between being a worker and owner. I guess Skip doesn't have to worry about money, though he didn't want to be short changed himself. Thanks Skip for showing your colors before I gave you my hard earned money. Only a fool would just hand someone there vehicle and not know what the cost would be. I know they are estimates, but Skip said he's been doing this for many years ,since 1977 . He should be able to be within a few hundred dollars of a worse case scenario. I read reviews of trans work where the prices went up when the costumer went to pick up their vehicle. I believe this is what Skip was setting me up for. Though I didn't have the work done here, just imagine if I had a real problem and how Ship would handle that. This business could do a lot better and probably more business if Skip had some better people skills. Go here at your own risk and bring money! read more
