i went into this shop with my 19 yr old little sister, when lance scheduled an appointment for her to get a 3in by 2in tattoo on her foot, mind you this was her first tattoo. when we arrived to her appointment the tattoo artist was 40 minutes late for starters and when she presented to him what she wanted he told her he cant do it (checkers!!! are you serious!!?? they can tattoo a portrait of some ones face but you cant tattoo CHECKERS?!) so he drew some thing out and she decided she liked it, when he told her he was ready we both started walking to where he was going to do the tattoo and lance (the moron who JUST schedules appointments!) told me i had to wait in the waiting room ( by that time there was 2 others getting tattoo's and they both had some one in the back watching!) i walked out to the waiting room and lance came and tried to explain to me they where going to be busy that day... i told him i understood but it was a. my sisters first tattoo b. there were other people in the back watching.c.sat. might be busy however it by no means was busy @ 1in the afternoon!....and when i said this to him he said"look I'm not your dad, and your not 16, what you are is a f*cking c*nt!" I HAVE NEVER BEEN TALKED TO LIKE THAT BY ANYONE!!! the fact of the matter is not one of the artist apologized for his hung over actions when they knew what was going on! these guys run some no class,over charged(120$ for a 20 minute foot tattoo), trashy tattoo shop!! i would drive 500 miles to get a tattoo then ever have these guys touch me! read more

I was looking around Stockton and Lodi for tattoo shops and came across this page. I thought, since it's close I might as well give it a try and call around. I talked with Jonathan from there. He seemed really down to earth and didn't try to rush me off the phone. I told him what I wanted and he gave me some suggestions to change it to better it. The next day I went in and looked at his portfolio and knew I wanted a tattoo from him. He drew what I wanted and I left my deposit. After a bad experience at another tattoo shop I definitely recommend this place. Jonathan is a dope artist. He didn't try to hit on me and let me take as many breaks as I wanted since the tattoo was in a tender spot. He is an all around good guy. That's why I'm giving this review 5 stars. Is because of him. The only thing I don't like when I go to get a tattoo is the tall guy who cleaned. I think he's the manager or supervisor. He seems like he has anger issues or something. He seems too sensitive or something. Everything seems to irritate him. Take a chill pill. You're making the shop a tense environment. Other than that the shop is great. read more

This place definitely needs to supervision or management training. I would not recommend going to this shop. The employees are not friendly and in fact very dismissive. when I asked the employee for an estimate he stated we cant do it today after I asked for an estimate he threw out some random number. Once I saw they basically didn't want to work I asked for a business card and they employee said "ya there over there!" When I showed up there was a female employee on a cigarette break outside, 3 guys standing around the front counter area and only one employee working on a customer in the back. I also noticed an exposed tattoo needle on the counter. (yikes) anyways I recommend doing your research lot of reputable shops in the area that are more than happy to help. Finally I feel that even though marijuana became legal in California like anything else I believe there is a time and place for everything. the strong odor of marijuana coming from the back of the shop was very clear and evident. I get tattooed here regularly by Jonathan Santos. He is a complete professional and knows exactly what he's doing and how to handle any situation. He is an amazing artist. If I bring him a picture for reference on a tattoo, he puts his own twist on it and it's even better than what I would imagine. Never do I feel uncomfortable or feel like he's trying to get me for all the money I have. He works with me on money situations as I understand his although, Jonathan is a bit too humble. I tried to tip him more than what he expected and he refused to take it. It was a sweet gesture. I just never wanted to come off as cheap because after all, most tattoo artists have no other form of income and depend only on tips and what they make that day. Everyone that was good here was gone, luckily sac is just as far as lodi... This place has always been a shit hole but I had a decent tattoo done here a few years ago. I came back and the place was still filthy but the artists now matched the surroundings. I got the worse tattoo of my life done here and they tried charging me more for the finished job. When I looked at it when it was done I couldn't believe it! Now I have to wear long sleeve shirts untill I can have it removed. I have been told it is to big and dark to cover. I only gave it two stars because my arm didnt fall off from infection like I thought it might so for that I am great full read more

Seriously...giving this place one star is being generous. The owner who did my tattoo was extremely unprofessional. He would not stop hitting on me...made me feel very uncomfortable. The place was dirty. It reeked of smoke and was very cluttered and sloppy. It was by far the WORST tattoo experience I have EVER had. To top it all off, he thought it would be "cute" to tell one of his buddies that I didn't tip him enough, and he started to stalk me and harass me at work. My friend and I had messaged the instagram ahead of time to see if there was availability for small tattoos and to send pics of what we wanted. We went in and got tattooed by Skyler it was a great overall experience both of us love the tattoos and we had great conversations while there great energy and vibe. Yesterday was my first day at this tattoo shop, and it was very clean and presentable. I loved looking at all the artwork on the walls, and the staff is very friendly.
