The girls here are so kind and professional. Everyone is welcoming and well loved I'm always happy with my nails and pedicure. Today I got a full for the first time here and ANNA did amazing. She's so detailed and did a lot of work shaping and getting the length I wanted. She's listens to you and really takes her time making them perfect and clean. I'm in Lodi for work and decided to try Robert Nails--and wow, this was the best nail salon experience I've ever had! I've been to top-notch salons in Miami and Vegas, but this place is hands down the best. Anna did an amazing job on my gel manicure, and Cathy was wonderful with my pedicure. They took their time, and the whole experience was relaxing and perfect. I even got to chat with the owner, and he was super nice and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back! I needed to go to a new nail shop in town since mine closed down. My friend recommended me to this place. I decided to book a gel fill with Robert, the owner. This nail place is pretty busy during these times. They are still taking precautions for covid and spaced apart the seats with plastic up between you and the nail stylist. Masks are required inside. The shop was nice inside. Appeared clean too. Friendly stylists. I was seated quickly. I was impressed by how many gel nail colors they had and by how many designs they can do. Robert does your fill rather quickly. Little chit chat while he is working but he was nice. The fastest I have ever experienced since getting mine done on S.F. It was a little noisy inside but they do play nice music while they are working on you. My gel nails turned out great! Not thick, just right. They charge $30 for the fill and $4 for trimming the length. I will go back to try a pedicure. I believe a basic pedi is $25. read more

Pedicure was great I'd go for a pedicure again. But for nails, no. Multiple nails were crooked. Paint chipped within just a few days and not even a week one fell off so I took them all off. And the way the nails were filed wasn't great either. Yes I know someone will say "why didn't you say anything while you were there" But i choose not too. Wife has been here multiple times. Every time she has come home unhappy and dissatisfied. She said they always rush with every manicure. Yesterday I had my nails done here and I specifically stated that I wanted matte nail polish. He seemed rushed & was very heavy handed. The drill caused a lot of pain & friction & burning. He kept reprimanding my autistic granddaughter so I got the feeling he just wanted us out of there. Today I went back because my nails look thick and chalky and uneven. He said I must be at fault & all he could do was put clear polish over them or else I'd be charged again. If I wanted shiny nails I would've asked for them yesterday but the principle is that I asked for matte. I know they were trying to save time but one woman worked on my manicure while another was doing my pedicure. not happy at all with my pedicure, its been about 2 1/2 weeks and Im beginning to feel the start of ab ingrown toe nail. I was asked if I wanted my toe nails cut and I said no but they cut them regardless and not only that they cut my left big toenail the wrong way. They cut my nail down the side and now I am having to use cotton to put under my nail so hopefully it grows over it and into my skin. I've never had any ingrown nails and i'm hoping it doesn't turn into that. not returning. i got attended quickly but that's the only positive i experienced. A gentleman asked me what I wanted and I knew I wanted a French ombre. Color book was right next to me so I grabbed it, i like looking at the colors for future potential nails the gentleman asked me again if I wanted a French ombre or the color and I said an ombre I'm just looking at the colors. After two minutes of looking at the colors he asked (again) if I wanted color or the ombre because he didn't want me to change my mind later and again I said I'm just looking at the colors. I had my phone in my lap but I wasn't looking at it so I was paying attention when he wanted me to switch hands but he said you don't need to hold your phone a bit rudely. I then asked him to add more acrylic to some spots.. and then he man handled my hand to try and show me that they're fine. They were lumpy and after trying to be understanding I finally just asked him to remove them. He wanted to charge me in full to remove his mistakes. And I said no. The lady came over and said she could fix them for me and do what I was asking and he got mad and kicked me out. I then called him to try and maybe work something out and he screamed at me over the phone. He threatened to call the cops on me because I walked out a didn't pay but he's the one who kicked me out... i was so nice to him and tried to be understanding each time but kept getting frustrated because he wouldn't let me talk or explain why I was so upset. Where is the negative star option when you really, really need one? I try to stay on the positive end when giving reviews but this place is one of the biggest disasters in the nail world. I came here because my friend scheduled the appointment, but I wish I had looked at Yelp first so I could have convinced her to go elsewhere. We scheduled appointments for a manicure and pedicure for both of us. Upon arrival we were told to wait. They started my manicure first. This was a bit annoying because we wanted to spend time together, but we figured they'd start her manicure soon. We noticed they only take cash so my friend said she'd run across the street to get some. After 5 minutes, Robert, who was doing my nails, rudely said, "Is that girl going to be back soon? We have a tight schedule." Well, 1) you heard her say she'd be right back, 2) YOU made both of us wait when we had appointments, and 3) all the aestheticians are still busy! As for the quality of the manicure...O...M...G. Painful, quick (hardly any filing or cuticle trimming), and the WORST paint job I've seen. I got a gel manicure and now I realize what happened: Robert has no experience with this technique. It looked like when I first tried this on myself. Granted, we all need practice, but don't practice on a paying customer and expect her to be satisfied! As he was going along, I looked at my nails and he sensed my concern. Rather than offering to fix it or address it, he started to say things like, "Sometimes this polish isn't that great," or "The OPI polish isn't good sometimes." So...why do you offer it? When it was all done I couldn't help but say something. It was so uneven, bumpy, and ran onto my skin which doesn't come off like regular polish and will cause it to lift off, defeating the purpose of getting gel. He continued to complain about the polish (which he purchases and chooses to use on his playing customers) and fixed one of my nails. I said how much better that looked. He then put my hand down and started cleaning up. I was confused, as he only fixed ONE NAIL. I asked him if he was going to fix the rest and he responded by telling me the problem may be MY NAILS ARE TOO OILY. Umm, aside from the fact that I've had gel before, you just gave me a manicure (albeit a crummy one) and wiped my nails with alcohol as you're supposed to do prior to the polish. By this time I'd had enough. I asked him if he thought this looked good. Without saying anything he sent me to another woman who did a fantastic job. Of course, this extra time meant I didn't have time to get a pedicure as my friend was almost done with both her treatments. As I was finishing up, Robert loudly complained while doing another woman's nails that one of his aestheticians went to the doctor despite the fact that they were so busy. How sad! Granted, I have no idea why she went to the doctor but why would you announce this to everyone? To find out that Robert is an owner and to see how he treats his employees and his clients, I will NEVER be back and will do my best to warn all my friends as well. read more
