Went to a tequila event at the Hard Rock Cafe and it was great! The restaurant is big and very open with plenty of seatings. Service was amazing! All the staff brought out the dishes so beautifully. The event consists of a set menu dinner with tequila pairing. We had a tuna tostada with cucumber jalapeño Paloma .. the tuna tostada was so good! The drink was strong! 2nd course was a citrus arugula salad with Valencia orange margarita spritz .. this course was so refreshing and the margarita paired amazing with it! Main course was braised and marinated pork shank with hibiscus grapefruit smoked margarita .. the braised pork shank and fixing was delicious but the smoked margarita was on the strong side of smoke for me. Our dessert course was a sopapillas cheesecake bar with cinnamon orange dessert margarita .. both those were so good and strong! I for sure had a good buzz! This event was awesome and the food was great with the alcohol .. I've also been here for their regular menu before and their burgers are always so juicy and delicious along with their crispy fries and onion rings! My group and I tried the wings, smash burger with fries and cheesecake. The wings were great! A medium level of spice which was good. The smash burger and fries were also pretty tasty. Nothing majorly impressive but not disappointing either. What was terrible was the cheesecake. Seriously, I do not recommend anyone ever eating this cheesecake. It was a weeknight when we decided to stop by the casino for a few hands and dinner. They were fairly busy when we got there. The burger was solid and the fries were nice and crispy. They seemed a little understaffed and we waited a little long for our food but before we got out food they offered us complimentary fries and when we finished the manager came over and apologized for the wait and also offered us dessert. The care that the server and manager gave us without us asking or saying anything was great. It was a solid dinner before the dessert we had but we'll definitely be returning when we visit the casino again. read more

The Hard Rock Cafe was the perfect place to watch the football game and have lunch today, while visiting the Hard Rock casino. We ordered the Game Day appetizer special ( pick 2 for $25) and a cheeseburger, and everything was very good. The two appetizers were the chicken wings, very fresh hand crispy bit chicken was moist, and the chicken sliders, garnished with coleslaw. The burger was very good, thick and juicy with perfectly crispy fries. The Cafe is situated behind the sports bar so a big screen was added, facing the cafe , so we saw the game up close and personal! Pretty disappointing, really, and on my birthday, too. To be fair, staff were very friendly, and my server (Hailee) was terrific. This HRC is so unlike a typical one, it has none of the charm or fun. While most are intentionally in high-traffic and touristy locations, this one is off the beaten path in a casino/hotel. It feels totally off-brand; it kinda feels like any generic casino cafe. As far as food, I ordered the pictured Messi chicken sandwich. In the menu, it's pictured with two beautiful thin-pressed breaded chicken patties overflowing from its bun. In real life, the chicken was tiny, dry, and overcooked. I don't even blame the cook, this feels like a management problem trying to cut corners with purchasing/sourcing/standards. Sigh. I have always been a fan of the HRC brand and was sad when the 'true' Hard Rock Cafe Sacramento in Downtown Plaza closed many years ago. This experience did nothing to cheer me up. Visited to attend a concert in the large auditorium. I like that it's not necessary to walk through a large portion of the casino to reach the auditorium. The venue is medium size, 2,500 seats when the floor is filled with chairs. The sound system was good quality, clear and not too loud. I did not visit the casino, any bar / resturant. Teh salmon was delicious and comes with lettuce, red peppers, edamame and noodles in a delixious sauce. The plate was good size and I loved it. Now the not so good part. My husband ordered the shrimp fajitas. Never in my life have we ever seen fajitas served with breaded shrimp. These were terrible. Fajitas should be served with grilled shrimp. My husband does not like any fish breaded so I wish if they were not going to serve them traditionally that they wrote breaded shrimp on the menu instead of just shrimp. Very misleading. I grabbed a bite to eat with my husband while we're at hard rock Casino. We ordered the legendary burger. It was delicious. I was very happy with the purchase. It was great value for the money and the taste was spot on. The portion was generous, so it was definitely enough to share one burger and fries. It was exactly what you would want from any burger. The patties were tender and moist and the bacon was crispy and it had a delicious cheese sauce. I also added lettuce and tomato and fresh onion in addition to the grilled onions that it has on the burger. The fries were good. Fresh crisp would definitely order this again. Strolled in for lunch. Was greeted, seated and joked at by a young host (didn't catch his name) about yesterdays Raiders loss. So I know I was in for a "fun" day after the game loss lol. This weekend my husband and I went to a car show out at Hard Rock Casino at Fire Mountain. Afterwards, we did a little gambling and had lunch at the cafe. The appearance of the casino was really cool and the displays featuring rock star's personal belongings were awesome. The best part of our visit? Lunch. We both ordered a burrito, mine had chicken in it, while my husband's at steak. They were served with chipotle sauce and tortilla chips. The burritos were big, so big o could only finish half of mine! It contained cilantro lime rice, cheese, avocado, sour cream, pico de gallo, and black beans. Simply put, it was the best burrito I ever ate in my life!! In addition to the food being really amazing, our waitress was also friendly and helpful. Staying at the hotel tonight and decided to order from Hard Rock Cafe cause let's face it-- the only other two options are the steakhouse (which has not impressed me the few times I've gone) and the Asian restaurant (which I've never been to and looks absolutely delicious, but I had Chinese food last week so I was looking for something different). They offer a service where someone will bring your order to your room, but that seemed weird and awkward to me, and I'm capable of walking downstairs, so I placed my order for pickup. I ordered on the phone from Armaan the classic smashburger (no tomato, dry, Mayo on the side) and the classic Buffalo wings. These have gotta be 2 of the most commonly ordered menu items. At least I'd think so. Somehow, a burger and wings cost $50. The pricing is wild, but after being quoted $1100 to have my transmission fluid changed a few days ago, nothing really shocks me anymore. Armaan hung up the phone before I could ask how long the wait would be, so I guesstimated 20 minutes and went down after 20 minutes. I got a lot of mustard and ketchup in my bag but no Mayo, which I realized after arriving back up at the 9th floor. I had a pivotal choice- I could eat the $50 order with mustard instead of Mayo, but a little voice quietly whispered to me, "No. You paid $50 for this crap. Go get your Mayo." So I walked all the way back down. There was a line of 7 or 8 people at the podium by that time, so I waited in line for about 10 mins. Got my Mayo. Went back up. The burger looked nothing short of awful. It's supposed to have 2 smashed patties, but one of them looked like half a patty. The cheese looked charred on. The lettuce was completely warm and wilted. I wish I had taken a photo. I'm honestly not sure how that left the kitchen. The fries were cold, but.....had I known when to pick the order up and had I not had to go back for Mayo, they probably would have been delicious. As for the wings....how do you screw up wings? These were possibly the most dry and cold wings I've ever had. The one thing that was supposed to be cold-- the celery-- was quite warm. This is some weird food temperature voodoo. This food is way overpriced and my to-go order experience was awful. Hopefully it's better when you sit down at the cafe. read more

This place can get busy, but the restaurant itself is big, modern, and clean. To the left, they had a sparkly bar with a huge option of liquor to choose from. Both times we went here, I was greeted and helped right away. After that, it just goes downhill. We ordered a brownie sundae that we waited more than 20 minutes for. The brownie tasted like a single layer cake with frosting. Sundae was alright. We went the next day for breakfast, and it wasn't super busy, we were hoping the food and service would be better. To our dismay it was the same. When you go back to check on your order. It's a different person everytime and they don't know whats going on. For breakfast we ordered: 1. Loco moco - Patty was thick and cooked the way I ordered. Rice and gravy was perfect. The meal itself was tasty. 2. French toast - Soggy not cooked. Syrup was watery. Inedible. 3. Side of pork sausage - Sausages were fat but not cooked and didn't even have a snap when you buy it. Sausage was stone cold. I'm very disappointed with the service and food. My dad has a bad leg and can't walk very well, and Joel went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable. Rather than making my parents get up to pay the bill, Joel walked back and forth from the host stand to the slot machine my parents were playing on, with such patience and care, just to accommodate us. That small act of kindness meant so much to us. From the moment I approached the host stand to place our order, Joel was warm, attentive, and professional. He smiled genuinely at every customer, treated everyone with respect, and never once let his demeanor shift--even in what seemed like a busy service. The staff I would give a solid 5 stars to.... They were all very kind and helpful... however the food was just ok.. so so... We ordered loaded tots and the fajitas.. steak and chicken mix. The chicken was excellent! That was truly good, tender juicy goodness... the steak lacked flavor and was cut too thick, you need to cut it into small pieces before you try and eat it, however they did cook it medium as ordered. The other issue with the fajitas was the grilled veggies... veggies is a stretch. It's literally just a ton of grilled onions and less than a 4th of a cut up bell pepper, no joke it was 3 slivers of a bell pepper... The tots were not great. My sisters, a couple Friends, and I visited the cafe on our last visit to the casino and left very disappointed. I would first like to preface that the miscommunication between the host and server may have been a result for this experience; however, I still feel compelled to share our experience. Our table of 5 was immediately seated which was great. There was an event at the casino, so we were very entertained with the vibe and the people around. We quickly realized we hadn't been seen by a waiter and had been waiting for more than 30 minutes. Once we noticed that the waiter served a couple that had arrived after us, we immediately summoned him over. It took 40 minutes for our orders to be placed from the time we were seated. Additionally, it took us over an hour to receive any of our drinks and there was never an apology from the staff. Our waiter never smiled at us, never apologized, nor did he even make eye contact with us while taking our orders. The food itself was pretty good as well as the drinks, but the entire experience was very disappointing. The bruschetta was my favorite food item. The flavors were great! My strawberry lemon drop was also very tasty! We had ordered a round of green tea shots which were also made very well. To end the experience, the waiter provided a fist pump rather than any apologies for the wait. Our group had high hopes for this restaurant and left very disappointed. The ambiance of the restaurant as well as the casino, of course, is musical artists and their instruments and/or clothing. There is a stage so I'm guessing there are musical acts that play there? Anyway, my $25 Salmon Noodle Salad was pretty good. The salmon was grilled perfectly and the sauce was delicious. My hubby's $19 chicken sandwich and fries were also really tasty. I like it! This casino is, by far, the best in the area. The ambiance is nice even for non gamblers, like me. They have so much rockstar memorabilia encased everywhere, I had fun just walking around viewing it. So my mom and I play at the rock regularly. I am a huge tipper to all! The people who clean the casino floor like Mike, daljit etc... I tip the waitresses well like ahwah, Tatum, Sophia to name a few. I am kind generous and play big bucks on a regular. Now imagine being a loyal customer and one day right after voting for the hard rock to be the best casino outside of Nevada, you see the hard rock advertise free pies for thanksgiving. So you drive 35 mins to get them and once you get to the counter ROB tosses your player card back at you telling you that u need same day tier points. You politely tell him that they should advertise that bc it wasn't posted. He tells you that it is and you need to "read". Then you pull up the post and ask him to show u but instead he shooooo's you away like a dog and says he needs to help the other customer. A couple days before thanksgiving. Unbelievable. These casinos earn more than enough to give out pies without asking u to play more money for them that itself is greedy. Lastly, to treat your customers especially the loyal ones like that is egregious behavior. Thanks for ruining my holiday spirit ROB. We came in prior to the Arsenio Hall / Jay Leno show. we had reserved a table for 6:45 before the 8:00 show. We arrived at 6:35 to find a long line of people trying to get in to eat. There was not any signage to check in if you had a prior reservation. We happen to ask someone and they directed us to the front of the line and to speak up about a reservation. A hostess said she could help, asked about a confirmation number, which we had, and we were seated in a few minutes. Our server came by about 5 minutes after we were seated. We had already looked at the menu online prior to our arrival so we placed our drink and dinner order at the same time. My wife ordered the Margherita flat bread (15.99) and I had the veggie fajitas (21.99). It took about 15 minutes for the food to come out. The presentation was nice, the fajitas were sizzling hot. We both were happy with the food. No inquiry about refiling my almost empty Dr Pepper. When the check came, we were both a little confused, a charge for an order of coleslaw showed up and we didn't order one. When we inquired about it, we were told it was an extra charge for the additional tortillas I asked for. They give you 4 small street taco size tortillas with your plate. They got used up quickly. Overall, we would come back again if we were coming to another show. The items were reasonably priced and the service was good. But I would make sure I booked a table in advance to avoid the large walk-up line. read more

Well usually I am pretty sad when I eat here only because I have almost always lost all ky money in the casino. This time was a pleasant surprise. Our server, Jennifer K., was so nice. She listened to our special requests. At the end of the meal, she even asked out names. She said to remember for next time. Hubby got the filet mignon and some spicy shrimp which he loves. I got chicken fajitas and a side of garlic fries. The noise level is moderate for on the middle of a casino.
