Such a fun and lively place hidden back behind all the bars and the stadiums in the city! We had a group of 10 who had gone to the baseball game during the day and wanted dinner and some fun and this hit the spot! Every single employee we talked to was so kind and welcoming it was refreshing!

I was craving a ribeye and I looked online to see read that they have a garlic butter that they add to it! I had to try it. It was cooked medium well and my ribeye was so juicy. I picked mashed potatoes and green beans fit my sides and the green beans were a vs little undercooked but the potatoes were perfect. They also had good drunk specials. I like that it was aerated from the rest of the casino

I had so much fun today hanging out at this place. I met some wonderful people sitting in the Hardrock Cafe for a bite to eat. My burger was so delicious and I even got a chance to go down to the Hardrock shop to get my favorite bottle opener magnet.

I decided to try this casino but the reviews warned me. Hard headed I guess. The machines are tight as a knot. It took me losing $80 to get it back on an outdated machine. The printer jammed so my ticket didn't print, waited over 40 minutes for 1 of the 4 red vests troubleshooters to arrive. Wow what a mess and a waste of my time. The lady at guest services was the nicest one who issued me 2 new cards. U do better playing bingo, spades with friends/family instead of coming here. I realized the dazzle of celebrity memorabilia entices u in. I wanted sum food from the Asian spot there but they don't open to 5pm, not going to spend another hour here losing my money. I will stay clear of HRC.

Sunday May 26th, Tony Vanoy and I stopped in at the Hard Rock Casino in Cincy so I could try my luck. I was dying to let my hair down and pocketbook strings loose and hit the Blackjack table but.....the maw maw YoYo in me said hold on old lady you're taking kids to Florida in 2 wks...pull out a $20 and sit your butt down at the slots.... So I did... And I won $145.90 ....so we left until next time!!!! Maybe I'll hit the tables then!!!

First, this place is the coolest. The music memorabilia makes it feel like a museum. Service was fast and super friendly. I had a Legendary Steak Burger and Pimp had the sliders. They were cooked to perfection. Sometimes you just don't need a whole lot of words.

Stopped into this place on a Friday as I found myself in Cincinnati and also because maybe I have a slight gambling addiction...maybe. I'm kidding. Maybe. Anyway, it's right in the middle of the city in a bustling area and in spite of that the parking situation is remarkably painless. They've got free valet or you can self park and hit the elevator directly into the casino. The workers at the host desk were over the top friendly and went out of their way to explain the layout and get me lined up with with a player's card and I was off to the floor where I found a full selection of slots and all of the table games. Most minimums were $15 which is pretty good nowadays, especially in a busy casino on a weekend. I did accidentally sit down at a blackjack table which had a $5 min, but that then required some weird side bet with each hand which I did not like so I promptly left that table. When I am president, there will be no more weird variations of blackjack. 1st day in office I'm getting that done. Aside from that the gambling situation here is A-OK and I'd definitely do it again. The place is clean, it's easy to get drinks if that's your thing, restaurants, shops, all that stuff present in the building, including of course a hard rock cafe gift shop for those of you who grew up in an era where collecting that sort of thing in your travels was a thing. Long story short if you're here and you feel an uncontrollable urge to place bets of basically any kind, the good people of the Hard Rock Casino have you covered in a lively and energetic environment that you'll probably enjoy.

This is a review based on my experience seeing a show at one of the ballrooms at Hard Rock. I did not play at casino. First off loved the cleanliness here. From the floor to restrooms, it was spotless. Staff were nice, most people I saw greeted me with a smile. I went upstairs for the show, and it was very organized with signs clearly showing sections numbers. Staff were so efficient in greeting and escorting guests to their seats. Very pleasant experience.

I spent two different evenings in the Hard Rock Casino. The great is it is clean, and non smoking. We were staying in Newport so it was a bit of a hike but I felt safe walking there. Beers (16 ounces) were $7.00 which I thought were a little pricey. Everyone (dealers and servers) were very friendly. They did have 15.00 blackjack tables. Machines seemed much tighter Saturday versus Friday. Over besides feeling like a smaller casino I would certainly return. It was clean, and everyone was personable. Definitely solid for a night out.

Most of the games I wanted to play are in the smoking section unfortunately and many of the people liked to hog them. The smoking section is out doors and can get really hot outside and the screens have a glare. Game wise, I do like they have a variety of volatile to low volatile games and there is something for everyone. DISGUSTED BY HOW HOLLYWOOD CASINO HANDLED THE THEFT OF MY PHONE…read more I visited Hollywood Casino for what was supposed to be a special planned outing with my mother (from a nursing facility) and a couple family members. Instead the night ended with my phone being stolen and an experience that has left me completely disgusted with the casino. I knew the exact machine where my phone had been when it was taken. We immediately tried calling it, but it had already been turned off. Having visited many casinos, I am well aware of the extensive surveillance systems they use and how closely activity on the casino floor can be monitored. Yet, despite knowing the specific machine and the narrow timeframe, I was never offered meaningful assistance in reviewing footage to determine what happened. What makes this even more disturbing is that several employees (that I reported it to) told me thefts like this reportedly happened numerous times during their employment there. If this is true, why is more not being done to protect guests and respond seriously when theft is reported? The next day, I did what the casino apparently was not concerned about doing--I tracked my phone myself using the FindMy App. The phone had been sold to an ecoATM located in front of a Kroger. Identification is required to sell the phone through the machine, as well as powering the phone on (which is how the location updated). This helped authorities identify an individual, and criminal charges have been filed. THEN came the most disturbing discovery of all: the individual identified in connection with my stolen phone had worked at Hollywood Casino. I cannot state why the casino failed to provide more assistance or whether the person's employment there had anything to do with how my report was handled. But from my perspective, learning of that connection after receiving so little help raises serious and troubling questions. Publicly available information also showed that the individual had an extensive arrest history. An arrest history does not, by itself, prove guilt in any particular matter, but it certainly added to my concern after learning of the person's connection to the casino. What kind of standards does Hollywood Casino have for the people it employs, and what responsibility does it take for the safety and security of the guests who spend their money there? Casinos have cameras throughout their properties. They have security personnel. They have the ability to investigate incidents on their premises. Yet when my property was stolen and I could identify exactly where and approximately when it happened, I felt dismissed and left to investigate the theft myself. This is unacceptable! I brought my mother there for a special outing. Instead of leaving with a good memory, I left without my phone and with absolutely no confidence that this casino genuinely cares about the people who support its business. I would strongly advise others not to support this casino based on my experience. If you do choose to go, be extremely vigilant. Keep your phone, wallet, purse, and other belongings secured at all times. Do not assume that extensive casino surveillance means you are safe and will receive meaningful assistance if something is stolen. Hollywood Casino should be ashamed of how this situation was handled. I expected concern, assistance, and accountability. What I experienced instead was indifference. I will not return and I cannot recommend this casino to anyone!

I really enjoyed the night and I recommend Vip if you want to sit close to the dance floor. There was a pretty large group when we went and my reasons for a 3 star rating includes the following: -the floors and escalator were pretty treacherous due to sticky floors - I slipped repeatedly in my heels on wet floors and when I changed to flats, they stuck to the floors and I repeatedly lost my shoe to the sticky gunk (meaning the floor kept my shoe and my foot came out of it). -the bathrooms were disgusting: they didn't start badly, but progressively got worse through the evening and were not re-stocked or kept up by staff. -the raised dance floor was a bit of a nightmare if you found yourself dancing towards the edge. I slid off and tripped going up multiple times because of the crowd. -this club absolutely does not enforce its dress code. Tons of baggy jeans (men), shorts, tennis shoes, sweatshirts, and other non-themed attire that violated their published dress code. The mash up ended up close to 40% in theme, 20-30% club attire, and the remainder was closer to what you expect to see while shopping at a large box store. Not trying to be snobby, I just expect places to follow their own rules. Overall, I had a great time and would go back if the mood struck!

The hotel was beautiful, the front desk staff were welcoming, the bartenders were outstanding, and my room looked great upon arrival. Unfortunately, the experience quickly declined because of the housekeeping service. Every single day there was an issue. The room was never cleaned completely. It seemed as though housekeeping chose only a few tasks each day. My bed might be made, but I wouldn't receive clean towels. If I received clean towels, my bed wasn't made. Dirty towels were often left behind, the sink and counters weren't cleaned, trash wasn't always emptied, and dirty glasses were never removed. After working from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, the last thing I wanted was to spend my evenings calling or visiting the front desk to have my room serviced. Although the front desk staff were always courteous and apologetic, I shouldn't have had to report housekeeping issues every day. It became so frustrating that I bought disposable cups because I couldn't count on having clean ones in my room. To make matters worse, a housekeeper knocked on my door one evening asking if she had left her tea kettle in my room, which reflected the overall lack of professionalism I experienced. I also learned that several colleagues staying at the hotel had the same housekeeping complaints, so my experience was not an isolated incident. This hotel has the potential to be exceptional, but the housekeeping department falls far below the standard I expect from Marriott. I hope management addresses these issues because they significantly impact the guest experience and do not reflect the quality of the Marriott brand.

I stayed at the Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown Hotel from June 5-19 while participating in the…read moreCollege Board AP Reading. Because I was at the property for nearly two weeks, I had a substantial opportunity to evaluate the guest experience. To begin with the positives, the front desk staff and concierge team were consistently professional, friendly, and helpful. They treated guests with courtesy and did their best to address concerns when they were brought forward. Unfortunately, the housekeeping experience fell significantly below expectations for a Renaissance property. Throughout my stay on the 9th floor, basic room servicing was inconsistent or absent. Trash was not regularly removed. Towels were not consistently refreshed. Drinking glasses remained unchanged. Ice bags and paper coasters were not replenished. The room often appeared untouched despite requests for service. What made the situation particularly frustrating was that these concerns were raised multiple times. I contacted the front desk on several occasions and also stopped by in person. While the front desk staff were responsive and professional, the underlying issues continued throughout much of my stay. This was especially disappointing because many of us were working long days as AP Readers and returning to the hotel exhausted. Guests choose hotels because they expect a clean, safe, and comfortable environment after a demanding workday. Instead, I often found myself cleaning up portions of my own room, managing trash, and seeking replacement items that should have been provided as part of normal housekeeping service. The bathroom cleanliness was particularly concerning. The shower floor appeared inadequately cleaned, and I nearly slipped twice while showering. The bathroom floors also appeared dirty during portions of my stay. Cleanliness is not merely a convenience--it is a guest safety issue. Perhaps most concerning, conversations with colleagues and friends staying at the same hotel revealed that I was not alone in these experiences. Multiple guests associated with AP Reading reported similar housekeeping concerns during the same period. This did not appear to be an isolated incident affecting a single room or a single guest. Additionally, front office staff indicated that the hotel was not experiencing a staffing shortage. As a result, it was difficult to understand why such fundamental housekeeping services were repeatedly missed over an extended period. I recognize that every property can have an occasional service lapse. However, when concerns persist for nearly two weeks, affect multiple guests, and continue after being reported, it raises larger questions about quality control and operational oversight. The kindness of the concierge and front desk teams prevented this review from being lower. They represented the hotel well. Unfortunately, the housekeeping experience did not reflect the standards of cleanliness, consistency, and guest care that I have come to expect from the Marriott and Renaissance brands.
