Dr. Hardeep M. Singh, MD is an excellent doctor. The problem is with the office management and their robot type of patient treatment. First, the appointment was virtual. I never received any paperwork prior to the appointment so that I could inform the medical office of my pre-existing health issues. Dr. Singh, requested I have full anesthesia for the two procedures, and St. Joseph Medical Group refused to pay for full anesthesia - which due to my health conditions, was the correct way to proceed. Instead of helping me, the office person said "You can pay for it and then work with your insurance." I don't have that type of money - that's why I have insurance. Per Anthem Blue Cross said to call Dr. Singh's office and have them do a Peer to Peer meeting with St. Joseph's - Dr. Singh's office said the doctor would not do that. The only option was for me pay for it myself and then I could dispute it with my insurance. WTH. This office has lost me as a patient. I really liked Dr. Singh but their robot type of customer service is not what a sick person needs. The mismanagement and lack of action has caused me so much stress and it has adversely affected my health. They also provide their office hours, they are supposed to be open till 5pm, but at 4:12pm, no one answered my call to help. I left a message, and by the following day, no one called me back. I had to call again. Now trying to reach my primary doctor so I can be referred to someone else. Dr. Singh should know how his personnel are driving patients away. Once again, Dr. Singh is excellent - the support he's suppose to have, is horrid. read more

Great doctor. Explains things well, will try off-label solutions when needed, and was flexible in the approach to a problem when I had thoughts or suggestions. Dr Singh has performed several procedures on me. He's always a very happy person. He takes his time answering my questions and explaining what is happening in my body. I have seen Daniel Chiu Nurse Practitioner in his office a couple of times and he's full of knowledge too. I know a lot of people get worried about not seeing the Doctor but Daniel knows what he's talking about. The office runs really smooth and they take their time explaining the follow up appointments. I have been to both of the doctors offices and I prefer the Orange office because it's close to my house. We have talked about moving in the future but replacing a Doctor like this is very difficult. So back in February 2020 I was suffering from gallbladder issues and I had first seen a doctor throughUCI. That doctor had removed my gallbladder around late February right before the pandemic hit. And about six week later I was starting to suffer from a lot of burning on the right side of my body. And when I brought it up to the doctor at Uci they said that they would not see me because of the pandemic. So after a few weeks the burning kept getting worse and I found Dr Singh. And he has been one of the best doctors I've ever had he took such great care of me when none of my doctors at Uci would even talk to me. He did an endoscopic and took A biopsy of my stomach. At first we couldn't find much but after trying some medications and a diet change I am now happy to say I am no longer on any medications. Dr Singh really has has been a pure angel to me this year without him I would probably still be suffering. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for yesterday 5/7/18 so I paid a sitter to pick my daughter up from school and when I arrived I was told my appointment wasn't for another 2 days. As she told me rudely that I made the mistake, I checked my schedule and noticed It would have been impossible for me to schedule on that day. I already had 2 appointments for that day, scheduled a month prior to accepting this appointment. I don't like rude people telling me I'm wrong when the mistake was obviously not mine. Dr. Singh has been my gastro doctor for approximately 10 years or so. After being diagnosed in my early 20's with UC it was important to me that I found a doctor who listened and communicated well. Dr Singh is unlike most doctors I've come across. He's patient, caring, and always responds at a reasonable time frame. His communication is clear and straight to the point and that's what I love about him!! His front office staff is always nice and pleasant whenever I call or go into the office!! He always seems more than willing to take the time to find the answer to any of my questions if he doesn't have the answer for me right at that moment. Had an appointment yesterday with Daniel for 3:15. My wife and I arrived at 3:05 we signed in and took a seat.At 3:40 when we still not called we ask the girl at the desk she had someone else put us in a room and shut and the door. When no one spoke to us or came in we had to leave unseen by anyone at 3:55 to meet with another person at 4:30. Disappointed that no one spoke to us and that I had to leave early from work to make this meeting. On top of that we had to pay $4 parking. In our opinion, this doctor really doesn't have much bedside manners. He seemed like he just wanted to escape and not talk at all. It was like pulling teeth to get information out of him. He was not mean, just not forthcoming with information and seemed uncaring, almost robotic like. Neither he or the nurses at St. Joseph's hospital advised us of any possible complications from the procedure that was performed. We were not told about any post operative instructions or care. My father was discharged about 15 minutes after the procedure. Not surprisingly, he ended up in the ER a couple days later from complications that could have been avoided or mitigated had we been informed of possible post operative complications. read more

He understood and empathized with my nervousness and cared enough to speak with my father who had a set of (often redundant) questions of his own. I am writing this review more to discuss his staff. I have called to talk to his N.P. Jennifer and the receptionist had no idea who that was. His checkout staff person Erica was horrible. She gave little to no information about getting the colonoscopy. She was incredible rude and uncaring. I was shocked by her rudeness and lack of empathy. I understand you need your nails done but please do your job. Another complaint I have is that when speaking to the Nurse Practitioner Jennifer she was shocked at symptoms I had. She clearly had no knowledge or experience with some g.i. conditions. I would say. I can't even talk about the dr because I never met the guy and I never will. So in closing, I hope you can make it past his not great staff to meet him. Cause I couldn't stand the staff. Plus they recommend Probiotics with soy for a person that cannot digest soy. good doctoring. lol read more
