I have no problem with the doctor. My issue is with trying to get a copy of my colonoscopy report from March. It's now November and I'm still trying to get a copy of the report for my doctor. A few days ago I had to leave a message after waiting on hold for a while. Still no call back. For this reason, I would never recommend this office. read more

I have had a few procedures and needed help with intestinal issues. Dr. Najarian and his staff are very thorough and professional. I have been a patient at this office for a few years now and have nothing but praise for them all. I feel I received excellent care and Dr. Najarian has a good bedside manor. The office area is large, people come and go, it seems to me at a good pace. I only had to wait 7 minutes to go in my room and 9 minutes to see the doctor. I call that great timing. read more

Dr. Najarian was very thorough and helpful in answering all of our questions during the initial consultation. Office staff were all professional and courteous. Booking the two procedures was quite easy as well, and all written instructions were provided at that time. Written instructions were thorough and easy to follow overall. After check-in, both procedures were explained. After procedures, doctor went over findings and provided written reports and photos. Was informed about when the lab results should be in. Would not hesitate to recommend this doctor and the Pavilion Surgery Center in Orange. They even validated the full parking period. Highly recommend Dr. Najarian and the Surgery Center. read more

I am a young person who had a sudden onset of some pretty grueling GI symptoms that were affecting my day-to-day life. Dr. Najarian could have thrown the kitchen sink at me to put a temporary fix on my problems by seeing what stuck, but instead, took the time to figure out the root of my issues, and we started my treatment by taking one path at a time. My very first visit with him, he sat down face-to-face with me for 30+ minutes just to simply dive into my history/possible causes of my recent symptoms. He nearly answered every question I had, while also entertaining every possibility of what it could be as well (as we were on a journey of finding out together). I left feeling so incredibly reassured that we would figure it out eventually, even if I didn't have any "definite" answers at that time of our first appointment. Honestly, I don't know what else to say other than I cannot recommend Dr. Najarian enough. read more

Nice guy, likes to talk about himself and repeats or explains obvious GI conditions easily found online by 10 year olds and up. However, he's a weak clinician who is very limited in his actual scope of skills and problem solving beyond basic GI conditions. If a cool, friendly guy is what you're looking for, Haig is your man. If you have more serious or complex abdominal issues, he's a complete waste of time. I eventually felt it seems he ran on "autopilot" in diagnosis and treatment discussions. Made no progress with him during several years of treatment. read more

Had an appointment at 9:30am. Finally called into a room at 10. Doctor didn't come on until 10:30. If they're an hour behind at 0930 I wonder how long the wait will be at 4pm. So they scheduled an endoscopy but didn't send any paperwork to the pavilion so I was forced to wait over 90 minutes for them to send the proper paperwork over. Their office staff seems to be disorganized and possibly inept. read more

I saw him 4 times, I was initially referred for a separate reason. He provided valuable information that led me to suspect a different co-occurring issue that he detected, performed an EGD treated the issue and provided me a course of action to prevent future recurrence. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate and listens effectively. He also spends time educating his patients. I definitely recommend Dr. Najarian. When scheduling appointments, I recommend allowing extra time to wait during your visit (if you have to return to work or other priorities), but I believe you will find this Dr. is well-worth the wait. This isn't my first experience seeing a GI Dr; yet, these were my most informative and beneficial visits. I know this may sound like I wrote this as an employee or an incentivized patient, but I am neither, I just have chronic health issues and see teams of doctors for years, so I like to inform others of doctors who seem committed to the oath of beneficence, non-malfeasance, and stellar bedside manner. read more

I have also seen this Dr. previously and he was fine. The staff years ago was helpful and friendly. So, it was no question that after several years I would go back to Dr. Najarian. I went early to fill out paperwork. I was ignored from the time I walked in, as a matter of fact they bent their heads down as if I was collecting donations. The office was packed and people were walking in and signing in. I asked again if I should sign in and they said we need you to fill out these forms. I wish they had said that 15 minutes earlier when I asked. Everyone that was walking in was signing in so after 30 minutes I asked if I was supposed to sign in. She looked up and handed me the clip. Well by now 5-6 people had already signed in. Some were standing by the counter, some trying to ask questions. It was chaotic, unorganized and totally alot of ignoring the patients. I was really taken back how rude they were and i heard every persons medical history that was called up. I was still filling out the book they gave me to fill out ( the forms) and it was not what I remembered. This was more of selling their wellness products. I knew why I needed a gastronologist, but I think they turned into a health center. I was still there an hour later, and couldn't take the loudness of hearing the receptionists going over each persons medical form announcing outloud, "you didn't put such and such in there and you have an allergy to that", so, after almost filling out these dumb forms, 1 hour and 5 minutes later, I left. I was not about to put myself through that humiliating process. I am now looking for a new gastroenterologist. So sad! read more

I have been seen Dr. Najarian for the past 12 years for my many issues I have over the years. He is by far one of the best GI Dr. you will ever meet... he takes his time with his patients, tells you everything you need to know what your problems. I just recently found out his moving his practice to another location, but the sad part is I won't see Terri, Avani and Kristi and the wonderful staff he had... Was referred to Dr. Stanton by my doctor who as predicted didn't have any openings. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment with Dr.Najarian a day after calling. My appointment was at 10 and I was seen a little earlier which was nice. The nurse was very sweet. I didn't have to wait long once I was in the room. Dr. Najarian was very nice, knowledgeable and funny. He didn't make me feel rushed. He eased my mind and answered every annoying question I had. If I ever need to go back to the GI I would definitely go back to him. The only complaint I have is when I was waiting in the lobby to see the doctor the receptionists started speaking in Spanish and complaining about a patient they had just talked to on the phone which I thought was a bit unprofessional. read more

Their service has gone down the drain in the 4 years that I have been a patient. Their office staff is not friendly, their billing dept is terrible, and trying to get an appointment to see one of the Doctors takes forever. I needed to do a follow up but both Doctors were not available so I saw their NP. She was one of the worst NP I have ever seen, she did not examine me, she did not know how to work the computer to pull my information up. All she did was write down two over the counter meds to take and told me to come back in 3 months. I left the office very puzzled and upset and I have NO intentions of going back. It was a waste of my time, energy and money. If you are in need of a GI, go elsewhere, you will be better off in the long run. read more

I am updating my prior comment. Since then, everything has improved, maybe his assistant (Angie) was just having a bad day. Sometimes patients such as myself do become critical when service from doctor visits can be frustrating. The staff in this office has been very attentive. As stated before, he is an excellent doctor, top notch. All of the doctors there most likely are. I have seen Dr. Lee and a couple others over the past 10 years. They are busy; their staff does work hard to accommodate their load. read more

My wife went in to Dr. Najarian and he was great. She had been referred to him by mistake and we still had to see somebody else, but he spent good quality time with us and we learned quite a bit. Dr. Najarian is a great GI doctor. His credentials are impressive and his expertise is obvious. Not only is he intuitive regarding his patients needs, he also takes his time to communicate well and thoroughly answer all questions. I have never felt rushed, and have always felt comfortable in his office. One caveat: since he joined Insite Digestive, the phones are horrible! Very difficult to get test results or get through at all. Lots of office mixups. But he's a great doc! read more

I went to my appointment on time and ended up waiting 1 hour. I never even saw Dr. Najarian. I could hear him in the room next to mine just talking away and laughing with the other patient. He was obviously in no hurry to get to his other patients. The staff didn't even try to get his attention or let him know that I was waiting so long. So I asked for a refund of my copay and left, I needed to get back to work. Very poor service and extremely unprofessional. I will not be returning. read more
