Anyone planning to use Dr. Lee for a procedure should be aware of the high-pressure tactics that his office uses in scheduling appointments. Also be aware that he will charge you $200 if you reschedule an appointment less than 5 BUSINESS DAYS from the scheduled time. Finally, be aware that his office closes at NOON on Fridays. I called his office at 2:30 PM on a Friday, trying to reschedule an appointment that I had for the following Friday. I was forced to pay a $200 penalty because I didn't know that his office closed at noon on Friday. Who runs a business like that? Also, these hours were never printed on any of the paperwork that I was given. I asked my primary care physician for a different referral, and managed to find an office that has normal office hours and doesn't levy ridiculous penalties. read more

Office staff is absolutely the worst I've experienced. No response to calls, won't answer my calls, my authorization for life saving medication is constantly lapsing because they do not follow up with the insurance when they reach out. Once I'm back in open enrollment, will definitely be looking for a new doctor. read more

I haven't even had my colonoscopy yet, and their office is HORRIBLE at communicating to patients. Can't get ahold of them on the phone, send a message via their patient portal with no reply. I will definitely be requesting another doctor for a future colonoscopy. Dr. Lee seems cool, but the office is a joke. I've been looking around for yeats now for Gastroentrologist doctors. Tho the doctor is calm and very approachable,kind for our 5 mins telehealth. ($150 co-pays with Ins) that i was not imformed prior. Second its been a long months of frustration from getting someone to call me back or someone to answer, the phone just to request a schedule or ask for procedure codes, so that i know how much is out-of pocket. I work in front desk medical as well and i answer all patients call,If not i will get their phone number and call back at the same day if possible,Also they dont or cant do email comunication?, So while writing this ive been waiting,hoping someone will answer their phone, I guess they are so busy that can't handle multiple calls, Also telehealth will take you to 1 month appointment. I guess Its time for me to move on and look for different doctor. read more

this review is for the office staff. Dr Lee you need to pay more attention to your staff. I was unable to schedule my appointment because your staff told me my insurance was terminated. I called my insurance and have my insurance called your office after verifying all the information with your office and reel them my insurance is active still your office denied my appointment my insurance even sent them an email with all my insurance information but still they ref to schedule my appointment and never call me back. my insurance tol me it's time to find another dr because of the way your office doing business. it's unbelievable and unacceptable for their behavior. is this how they run your office now? Dr. Lee seemed very competent when I first went to him for what I was hoping advice on surgical help for my extreme G.E.R.D. He treated me with a test that confirmed my condition and I was impressed with his knowledge of the latest tech in medical. However, I visited him again in June to consult on a new set of symptoms I had in my stomach. Nothing about heartburn or G.E.R.D. He was rushed and curt with me and said, "It's just your acid reflux. Start eating right and lose some weight. You do not need any more tests." So, we are now in September and the stomach issue that I presented to him was finally diagnosed by my GP, Dr. Michael Gilbert after ordering a simple ultrasound. I have Gallstones and have had nearly 15 episodes, one lasting 10 hours on the night before my son's wedding. I am more than irritated that I was tossed aside by the very "busy" Dr. Lee and spoken to in such a condescending way. Slow down, Dr. Lee. Please listen to people and don't discount their pain. I am going back to my last Gastro after I have my my Gallbladder removed on Monday by Dr. Hamanji. read more

If you're seeing Dr. Lee for the first time, just know that his office is actually located in the "Cancer Center" building. I spent a good 30 minutes looking for his office, which Google had wrong in its directions, and the phone number I had was actually a fax number. With that said, what upset me the most is that I ended up being 15 minutes late and when I went to check in, they told me he had already left for the day, and asked if I wanted to reschedule. Seriously, when did he decide to leave for the day... 5, 10 minutes after my appointment? Had I known he was located in the Cancer Center building and had correct directions and a phone number, I would have made my appointment on time. Needless to say, I'm not going back. read more

I saw Dr. Lee several times and he is not friendly. He made me feel like he didn't care and that I was wasting his time. He did end up diagnosing me with ulcers and a extremely low motility gallbladder which proved I did have actual problems and was not wasting his time. I gave 3 stars because I actually liked Dr. Lee. I saw him in Dec 2013. He did some procedures. He was kind and knowledgeable. Recently I have had an issue and needed to see him. I have tried several times over the last 3-4 weeks to make an appointment. Every time I call I get the answering service and they are having phone problems. Three times I have actually left a message with the answering service and have never received a call back. The last time I told them, I have left messages and never receive a call back. I am not calling after hours, I'm calling during regular business hours. I even have gone so far as to go to their website and email for an appointment. Never a call back.
