The absolute worst food ever ordered at a fast food location. The chicken tenders were hard, over fried, and tasted like the fry oil has not been changed in months. Ordered gravy with the tender meals - WAS NOT IN THE BAG! Cole slaw (not pictured) was warm. Sorry, not eating warm Cole slaw. Almost $26 bucks for a bag full of throw away food! I tried the Bacon cheese biscuit but the bacon was always only partially cooked. So I started ordering the country ham biscuit that was like eating ham jerky, Hardee's has gone down hill with food quality. Will start going to Bojangles just up the road from now on. read more

First, I like Hardee's. At least most Hardee's. But this location must have some of the worst customer service of any Hardee's I've seen. The food is often cold. Tonight they forgot something in our order (unfortunately I didnt' check the bag). I didn't discover it till I had arrived home, so I drove back up there. As soon as I walked in one of the employees said "Oh we have your sandwich". One of The employees told the cashier "told you" that they left something out, and they laughed. The health dept needs to re-evaluate the sanitation here! At the drive thru my breakfast sandwiches were in a bag but it fell to the floor completely exposing one sandwich and they wrapped it back up and placed it in my bag!!! Im not eating that! Disgusting and lazy lazy crew. If they will do that, who knows what else they do to food prep! Needs to be shut down. Is that how they are trained????? read more

Service at this Hardee's definitely depends on who happens to be working. I've gotten fresh, hot food one day and cold, hard probably-left-over from lunch french fries the next. I got dinner for my family just after 7 pm, and stopped by again 20 minutes before closing, thinking I'd get another milkshake. I was told they were "out" of milkshakes "today." They weren't "out today" because I'd gotten one just a couple hours earlier. Staff must have cleaned the machine and didn't want to do it again. They've also closed the restaurant five or ten minutes before posted hours upon occasion. I was a teenaged burger flipper once too, so I can understand, but don't assume your customers are that dumb, folks. The menu items are reasonably priced and there's a good variety. Try the Frisco burger, and as a combo, and you'll get a filling meal. Eat Hardee! read more

Simply wanted to go through the drive-thru to get a quick meal after missing breakfast and lunch due to taking care of customers on call. Pull up to drive through window and order a $10 combo as it is rung up with another I see that the price is altered. At that point I asked my girl did you see the price go up a dollar and something. She replied yes. We get around to the drive-thru window and I asked the employee why my $10.49 combo was so much more. At this point she tells me the total of the whole meal and wants me to pay it. I had to ask her again to break it down. Then she turns to me and goes oh I guess you wanted the small combo. I told her I wanted whatever was $10 on her menu. At that point the attitude started. She goes out of her way to correct the meal. I give my money to her for the order and she never returns to give me the change nor the receipt. It was only 60 cents I didn't care but I did stay at the window to get my receipt. With my back turned to the window my girlfriend sees her come over to the window and wave her hand at me like what does he want. Then I tell her I never got my change nor my receipt she hands me the receipt and closes the window on me. At this point I decided I'm going to go around and talk to the manager. I park my vehicle with my family in it and go inside to talk to the manager. I asked for the manager and she comes out front and sees me standing there and starts breaking out laughing. Says she knew I was going to be trouble when I went through the drive-thru. Then as I start to talk to the manager about being accosted this employee actually starts yelling louder trying to overpower me talking to her manager. She sat there and made such a scene in the front lobby every person who was in there watched what happened. I was so flustered I couldn't even hardly get my point out to the manager at that point. Then we call back and somehow the transaction of her trying to take advantage of me with up charging me without asking has disappeared. She is already sweeping dirt to cover her tracks. There's always been a simple rule that I've tried to follow. Do not fight with stupid because then you get ignorant and now look who's stupid. Hardees definitely made me feel stupid today. I paid over $20 for two meals and walked out with an anxiety attack so bad I couldn't even eat. Then I have to call back to make sure that things are being done about this employee who flat out accosted a customer. I will be following up if need be eating breakfast there every morning until I see something is done. I do appreciate the manager for taking the time to talk to me and apologize for not being focused after being screamed at by her employee in the lobby in front of everybody. This experience was flat-out disgusting. Way to go with lack of respect..if I don't let you up charge me without making mention of it then I guess it would have went better. Drive thru, I ordered my favorite Chicken BLT sandwich which comes on a regular bun. I received the undesirable 'Frisco' version on Texas Toast. The bread matters. Come on now. I shouldn't have to unwrap all my food to check it before leaving. Another time I ordered a 20 pc chicken tenders and I had to park and go inside to get honey mustard because the drive thru girl stingily refused to give me more than 2 packs. I went on January 24 around 8 to 9 pm. I feel bad for the owner of this location because the employees are making this place trash. New location and already loosing ton of customer. The food was very good. The restaurant was clean and employees were friendly and were wearing name tags. They were quite busy and still managed to get us our food in a reasonable amount of time. We will return to the location for future dinning. read more

Hardee's is breaking my heart! They used to be the best breakfast fast food stop imho. However, now, my least favorite has become the better. Today, I just wanted some fresh hot hash rounds. Yeah. Didn't happen. After the fiasco at another place in Fuquay-Varina 2 days ago, I just knew Hardee's would be the place....and this one is the newest one around the area I drive. My hash rounds were room temp, which is much better than the fresh out of the fridge ones a couple days ago....but not much! I ordered a ham and cheese biscuit, which also wasn't very warm, but it was good...hence the 3 star instead of less. Again, I ordered an UNSWEETENED tea and got a Coke instead....ugh. I really wish there was an alternative to fast food hell, but it appears there's none on the horizon. It's impossible for me to get up earlier than the time I do and cook something, get on the road, drive 2 hours to work and put in a full day just to drive back 2 hours home. At this point in the fast food hell juncture, I'm looking for recommendations to a stable, satisfying breakfast place that's quick and hot and consistently good. Help! read more

This location is a new store but they've learned fast how to get the maximum cooking time out of the fryer oil so that EVERYTHING tastes the same, burnt grease. This was my fourth or fifth time to stop there and also my last. I ordered the 5 piece chicken finger combo and was asked to pull out of line while they cooked the chicken. I sat in my car for over 15 minutes until I got tired of waiting and blew my horn. A couple of minutes a young came running out with my order. I got home and opened the order and EVERYTHING tasted like burnt grease and the tenders were so over cooked, it was impossible to eat half the order. They were broken up into small pieces and were so hard you could not chew them. It's a shame someone will invest that much money into a new store and then turn it over to someone that doesn't care to run. read more
