If you're coming to Waffle House, you're not coming for quality. You're looking for that fast, greasy breakfast plate, and this location delivered. According to my BIL, this is a new location. Despite it being new, it still has the same amount of grease and grime as any other WF location. My go-to is always some variation of the hash brown bowl and this time, I ordered the philly cheesesteak one. Haven't been to a Waffle House in years. We chose this one cos the location didn't seem to be in the dregs as others tend to be. Our waitress was nice and very diligent, although a little tough to understand at times. She checked on us throughout the visit too. The AC must have been cranked to max cos it was freezing in there!! Our breakfasts were pretty good, except the waffle and bacon could have been crisper. I'll definitely ask for crisper next time. I really enjoyed going to this Waffle House location. When we entered, we were seated quickly and the waitress was very nice. The restaurant looked like a classic diner and you could see into the kitchen and watch the cooks make the food, which was pretty cool. We ordered their all star specials which consisted of bacon, a waffle, eggs, and toast/jam and they tasted delicious. The portions were also pretty big so you probably will have some stuff to take home. What I also loved about this place is that you get a bunch of quality food for a great price! I went here for breakfast and it was dirty AF. I was waiting for my take out order and so I tried to grab some packets of syrup to go and the whole box was covered in stick ass syrup! The only staff that was helpful was the Manager that was on site. As she was a working manager. Now for the rude waitress we had. She did not come check on us. She did not make sure we had refills. My food came out last after we had waited almost 40 minutes and my food was cold. Don't sleep on Waffle House! My family just had a delicious breakfast! It was on par with restaurants twice the price. Service was super quick. We were in and out in 30 minutes. We enjoyed waffles, hashbrowns, sausage and bacon. All of it was delicious with that greasy diner taste, but in a good way. They even had Simply Apple Juice and Simply Orange Juice, which is some of the best. My husband also loved his coffee so much he got one to go. Not only was the food amazing, the service was welcoming and we felt like family, even though it was only our first time there. Suzette greeted us and was so friendly. Our waitress Patrice took care of us and did a great job. I will definitely be back and will hopefully get the same tasty food and see smiling faces yet again. Had a quick late lunch here with the patty melt plate. I had them make the patty melt on wheat like they used to be before they started using the texas toast - it was great. We have ordered online, and both times items have been missing.. Today we ordered 2 of the All star specials, which are supposed to include a waffle -- and received zero waffles for them I ordered orange juice and that was also missing. Tonight the food was cold - not cooled off a bit, but sitting around in an unheated tray waiting to be shoveled into a bag-type cold. Another headache is that they tie the bags tightly, so you cannot even open them to verify contents before you leave. And last, you cannot even call to ask for a refund or raincheck on the missing items. I cannot write this off to being a cheap tipper, because we tipped 20%. As you enter the place clean and spiritually light. I checked their kitchen floor and I was surprised, it was clean. The tables are spotless. No shadow of the wipes. Q, the Manger led us to our table and introduced Malaysia our server with his exciting happy uppity voice. Q. was so respectful as well as very pleasant. Stopping at this Waffle House will sometimes make you want to take a run to the ABC Store next door too, just to get the hard time off your mind. But, it's mostly an easy outing. Parking is easy and the servers are cool. But this is a bland establishment, no "buts" about it. There's absolutely nothing about the food that sets itself apart from anything I can cook at home. This joint gets by on its convenience and our collective laziness. What sometimes drives me to drink is the occasional slowness of the service. And that's entirely dependent on the person you get serving you that day. This one time, I had a woman taking care of me who was about as slow in doing everything as a one-legged sloth coated in slippery grease trying to walk uphill during a landslide. read more

Food all over the counters, the pan on the stove disgustingly dirty that they were reusing, hashbrowns all over the counters and down in between the stove and prep line, waffle mix all over the place and dried mix running down everything all around the waffle irons, had to ask for water refill twice, and ask for coffee, my grits didn't come out with my food and they over charged us and had to wait while they fixed it. Ok. I normally wouldn't review a restaurant like Waffle House but I have to say I was so impressed by the friendliness of the staff and how attentive they were the entire visit. Not only were we greeted with several hellos at the door but we were readily offered a seat on a very busy Saturday morning. At least five different people took care of us. We ordered the steak and eggs. They made egg whites for Mike and the steak was tender. Very good customer service if you want a fun spot for breakfast, great prices and I actually had a gluten free meal without eating the toast. Restaurant was clean and seats were comfy. Absolutely the worst Waffle House I have been to, and I am diehard waffle house and takes a lot for me to be unhappy with my meal there. On multiple occasions now the food has been either burnt, incorrect, or missing on takeout orders. First time it was unsweet tea instead of sweet, ok not that much of a biggie, but found no cheese on hash brown--and way smaller portion than what's found when dining in, no butter or syrup, and missing toast. Overall taste of food was meh. So I figured it was due to the location being busy on a Sunday late morning. Today we tried again for breakfast for dinner. Ordered online easy peasy, but when my husband got home from picking it, we were missing one waffle, half the orders of both has browns were burnt to a crisp, toast wasn't toasted, syrup canisters were leaking into the bag, tea tastes like sugar water, and the driving force of writing a review was the eggs. I don't know what was wrong with them but they were either overcooked and just left to sit before scrambling and adding cheese but the texture and taste was horrible and ended up only having burnt hash browns for dinner. Funny enough my husband mentioned how the staff were saying how slow it was tonight so can't give them the benefit of the doubt for being buys. Overall, I still love Waffle House but definitely do not order takeout from here unless you open the takeout bag and check your food before you leave.
