Just moved to the Stafford area and was excited to visit Hardee's. Had been a Carls Jr customer in SoCal and grew up with Hardee's in VA.. my first to visits were sub par, so much so I deleted the Hardee's app. I decided to give them another chance yesterday for breakfast. I reapplied the app and ordered. Was notified the food would be ready in 30 minutes. Showed up and the drive thru line went around the building. I chose to go inside to an absolute shit show. Only 3 people working the front of the house. Two of the workers were slow and lazy. Probably because the old supervisor constantly pointed out their issues in front of everyone. It took thirty extra minutes to get my food which was prepaid so I couldn't leave. When it came, part of the order had been given to another customer so it had to be redone...... I felt for the drive thru. They forgot one customers French toast and had to recook it. They left that vehicle in the window inconveniencing the entire line. On a positive the food was ok, but not worth this nightmare. Needless to say, the app is again off my phone. read more

Came here on a Sunday for a late lunch... The place had several tables sat when we came in and there were a few in line, but we were still greeted and were able to place our order quickly. Food came out in a decent amount of time. The 1/4 burgers looked rather blah... Definitely didn't look like the picture. But the flavor was really. Fries were really good, as they usually are. Coke from the fountain was really good too. Service was decent. The lobby was clean and looked fine. I don't know why Hardee's restaurants keep those old smoking rooms, when they should use the space for a kid's play area or something. Also, the space being taken up by the lobby/dining room seems wasteful, compared to how these restaurants are rarely more than half full. One last thing.... There were two sets of soda fountains... One didn't have ice, but had working soda fountain. The other had ice, but no soda fountain that worked.... Odd! I'll return, we usually do. read more

Yes, this is a truck stop, but that's no bother. What IS bothersome is the lack of hygiene and cleanliness at this location. The plexiglass dividers for the cash registers are filthy. The restaurant seats are filthy--how is this possible when no one is using them right now? Why are they not cleaning the place? We stopped in on a Sunday at 1245pm. There was no one inside and no cars going through the drive through. This should have sent us elsewhere, but our stomachs had other plans. The order taker/register person had never heard of the BBQ chicken sandwich that I ordered, despite it being on the menu right behind her. The cook gave me the wrong chicken sandwich (guess he hadn't heard of it either). When I got it, it was cold. Due to the cleanliness issues mentioned above, we promptly went back in for a hot sandwich, which it was supposed to be. My husband's chicken tenders were room temp. Overall, just avoid this location. There's lots of other options in the area. read more

Typical fast food experience. Something quick and easy on my return trip to Florida from Washington, DC. Very convenient to I-95 on the south side of the street. Christopher was our cashier. 2 meals ordered - a large Classic Double Cheeseburger meal and a small 5 piece Chicken Tender meal. Sprite with the cheeseburger and Coke with the chicken tenders. The best part of the meal was finding the meal complete. Sauces for the chicken tenders and Ketchup for the French Fries. It was a wonderful experience finding everything in the bag. Nothing special to report. Pictures attached - meal was okay. My daughter and I stopped at Hardee's as it's a restaurant not available where we live in South Florida. This place was horrible. The food was cold, the wait time was 20 minutes for our food. Customers even had to wait for a refund. Lastly, their communication sucks, they were dropping food as customers was ordering their meals. I do not recommend this place at all, and I will be contacting the general manager. I came here at August 11, 2019. Came in at 12:40 and leaving with to go food at 1:07 p.m. We ordered our meals to go and still had to wait forever in a day. Never again read more

In my opinion Hardee's breakfast chicken biscuit was bar known one of the best but since the change of the chicken the flavor, quality and texture has changed and for the worse, it seem to me that the chicken is not real but imitation. The once flavorful breakfast sandwich is now avoidable! Time to find a new spot I would like to give it zero stars read more

Stopped here on a drive. I love Hardee's burgers, and I also love California burger joints and Hardees is related to the Carl's Jr. chain. My favorite burger is the Mushroom Swiss, and Hardees now also serves the freshly hand dipped chicken tenders made to order. Oh yeah. Place is a bit dumpy, but I didn't come for the ambiance. This is the dirtiest, most unorganized Hardees I've ever been to. You don't expect a whole lot at a fast food spot but this place is in need of staff retraining and a health inspection. Staff walk past spills and filthy tables. The floors are sticky as they walk around because the dining area floor is so dirty and sticky from ignored spills. I asked for the table to be wiped off and although all the tables needed it the worker wiped only the one, even though there were several in need of attention. Even wiped the crumbs into the seats and walked away. I completely lost my appetite. read more

I wish 0 stars were am option. I've lived in the area and never gone here but they offer a Beyond Burger so we figured we'd try it. First we waitrd in line for about 10 minutes, and only 2 cars ahead of us. Got to the window, paid, and THEN they said they're out of the Beyond Burger. Such a waste of time. This place is a glorified truck stop. It's not uncommon to find tractor trailers parked in the back of the lot and despite COVID19, we still saw a few people (probably truckers) inside. The tenders we ordered were lukewarm and had some kind of goo inside. Definitely won't be eating at this Hardee's or any other one again. Too many other options are close by to deal with slow, careless service. read more

Not much to say, it's Hardees. ::shrugs:: This was my first time actually eating at Hardees and I have to say it was ok. Nothing too exciting but still worth a review. This is your typical fast food joint, which I don't even eat much of, but my boyfriend wanted a quick bite before we went grocery shopping so I tried it out. Entering the place, it wasn't that clean and the table we sat at had a weird, funky smell. Ugh! All I could think is "WHY AM I HERE" then I looked over at my sexy boyfriend and his rugged beard and STILL thought, "WHAT THE F*** AM I HERE DOING HERE?" ha ha ha. Anyways, I decided, hey if I'm going to be fat, I might as well go all out. I ordered the Monster breakfast sandwich and it was ok, but I couldn't even finish it. There was entirely too much meat on there (sausage, ham, & bacon) & I just felt a heart attack coming on. The hash browns are typical. But the one thing I do like and the only reason I would come back is for those blueberry biscuits!!! Mmmm Mmmm Mm. My mouth is watering right now. Those are a must try! The customer service was ok; the girl at the register had no facial expression at all. Kinda freaked me out. I mean damn, I would rather you look mad then "serial killer emotionless". I don't think I've ever had a worse fast food experience as I did at Hardees, I am actually impressed at how bad they managed to be, I feel like it took some effort to be that horrible. Lunch rush, sure... but come on? Four employees standing around chatting isn't going to make the food come out any faster. Instead of standing there staring at the cooks, do something, like change out the dead Diet Coke tap... or make more sweet tea since its empty and everyone is coming back up the to counter to get their drinks. Fill up the catsup containers... since a bunch of people hovered around the counter is just causing chaos. I ordered a vanilla shake with my meal, if I actually had the patience to keep dealing with that place, I would have complained that I was handed a cup that was only 3/4 of the way filled. The fries were terrible, soggy, undercooked and cold, but the chicken club sandwich was actually pretty decent. I received the wrong size nasty fries, part of my shake missing and to add insult to injury I had the pleasure of paying almost $11.00 for this experience! We stood in line and waited for our lunch a total of 27 minutes. I feel like that is a tidbit ridiculous and I will just go to McDonalds from now on. read more

It was a cheeseburger, hold the onions. It became a long wait at the drive through where we watched the driver of the car in front of us get out of his car multiple times to obviously get things fixed that were wrong with his order. We too ended up getting out of the car to go find out where our long-waited order was - got it, finally (after being told "special order 'hold the onion' burger was the delay) and left. I stopped by here yesterday and received a very different level of service then that of my fellow M-town Yelper Jodi C. Perhaps it was because it was about 10:15AM and there were few people there. Or maybe because they were still serving breakfast, which Hardee's seems to excel at. The wife and I hadn't been to a Hardee's for breakfast in a while, so we needed a minute to peruse the menu. After ordering, our food came out literally instantly. We took more time reading the menu than waiting for the food. And the food was what I expect from Hardee's at breakfast. Yummyness. Wife was happy with her bacon-egg-cheese biscuit. My sausage, egg, and cheese on Texas toast was so so good - if I had less self control I could have eaten like, five more. The cheese was perfectly gooey. Service can be uneven at pretty much any fast food place, and since I only stopped here on a pass-through I can only Yelp on my experience, which was solid. read more

Holy moly was it good. The mushroom burger on Texas toast was really good, we split that with a hot ham and cheese which was also nice but a little salty. Eating at Hardee's hearkens back to my childhood when I used to visit the Tidewater area where my grandfather and great-grandfather lived. I always associate Hardee's with the "south". Every now and then I get to southern Delaware for a visit too. We were on our way back from Florida and I requested we dine here for our break. It was the stop from hell to be certain, but none of it had to do with the restaurant. We had cheeseburgers, fries, and a beverage. I was pleased with it all. Hardee's is a half-step up from McDonald's. The fries were quite tasty. The restaurant was busy and clean. Service was prompt and courteous. read more

If i could i would rate him a 5star review however my girlfriend and i saw one single strand of hair in both our meals. (11/24/2013) Hardee's isn't on our usual list of road trip fast food, but it was on the convenient side of the road. Just missed breakfast at 11:00 am, apparently breakfast is their thing (according to the blue-hair in front of me) Settled for a Chicken Tender sandwich (was nothing like the pic) and the Frisco Thickburger (just a few too many precious ad titles there). Burger was a thin gray patty, with LOTS of mayo, Swiss cheese, microwaved bacon strips, underripe winter hothouse tomato. I did like the whole sourdough toast instead of a bun thing. Chocolate shake was surprisingly actually scooped real ice cream (vanilla) with several squirts of chocolate syrup and milk, whizzed up the stickblender format shakemaker, not bad at all. Menu was not remarkable, hard to find a recognizable gimmick in the American fast food market. Supposed we would stop again if necessary, but it's not one of those places that draws us readily off the highway. This one was friendly, but sloooooow. read more

This was simply one of the nastiest places I have been. Walked in at 8:30 to a sticky, nasty, flooded dining area, apparently from fountain island leaking with puddled water. Worst service I have ever experienced. Went through drive-thru on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM - only one other car there (in line ahead of us). They couldn't get two burgers put together without having to make both of us "pull up and wait." I don't recommend anyone to eat here. First off they gave us a spicy chicken sandwich when we ordered a regular, non-spicy one and didn't want to remake it the right way after, then our other order of chicken tenders came, when he dropped them off he tells us they ran out of breading for them so it was just 5 dry hard pieces of chicken, deep fried and nasty! On top of that we still got charged full price! He never came over and asked us if we still wanted them or something else when he found out they had ran out of breading. One order of fries was cold, the other was hot but both had way to much salt and didn't taste right, compared to the other Hardee's we had ate at a few days prior!! They were out of ketchup in the dispancer in the lobby instead of refilling it like they are supposed to they gave us ketchup packets!
