William - Bill Lewis L.

Typical fast food experience. Something quick and easy on my return trip to Florida from Washington, DC. Very convenient to I-95 on the south side of the street. Christopher was our cashier. 2 meals ordered - a large Classic Double Cheeseburger meal and a small 5 piece Chicken Tender meal. Sprite with the cheeseburger and Coke with the chicken tenders. The best part of the meal was finding the meal complete. Sauces for the chicken tenders and Ketchup for the French Fries. It was a wonderful experience finding everything in the bag. Nothing special to report. Pictures attached - meal was okay. My daughter and I stopped at Hardee's as it's a restaurant not available where we live in South Florida. When traveling, I try to stop at places that are different or not available at home. Christopher the cashier was fast and courteous. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Stopped here on a drive. I love Hardee's burgers, and I also love California burger joints and Hardees is related to the Carl's Jr. chain. My favorite burger is the Mushroom Swiss, and Hardees now also serves the freshly hand dipped chicken tenders made to order. Oh yeah. Place is a bit dumpy, but I didn't come for the ambiance. Also, they bring your order over to your table.

Breakfast!

Not much to say, it's Hardees. ::shrugs:: This was my first time actually eating at Hardees and I have to say it was ok. Nothing too exciting but still worth a review. This is your typical fast food joint, which I don't even eat much of, but my boyfriend wanted a quick bite before we went grocery shopping so I tried it out. Entering the place, it wasn't that clean and the table we sat at had a weird, funky smell. Ugh! All I could think is "WHY AM I HERE" then I looked over at my sexy boyfriend and his rugged beard and STILL thought, "WHAT THE F*** AM I HERE DOING HERE?" ha ha ha. Anyways, I decided, hey if I'm going to be fat, I might as well go all out. I ordered the Monster breakfast sandwich and it was ok, but I couldn't even finish it. There was entirely too much meat on there (sausage, ham, & bacon) & I just felt a heart attack coming on. The hash browns are typical. But the one thing I do like and the only reason I would come back is for those blueberry biscuits!!! Mmmm Mmmm Mm. My mouth is watering right now. Those are a must try! The customer service was ok; the girl at the register had no facial expression at all. Kinda freaked me out. I mean damn, I would rather you look mad then "serial killer emotionless". All in all, Hardees, it was a one-time thing for us. I think we should see other people. I may call you once a year for those delicious, succulent, blueberry iced biscuits, but that is all you are good for. Ta-Ta! Favs: Those blueberry biscuits!!! Would Change: Hmmmm it was not as clean as I would like and the customer service was lacking.

Temp tattoo!

What can I say? It's Hardee's...they have awesome biscuit breakfast sandwiches. But what made the visit more awesome, they were passing out Hardee's temporary tattoos! An eagle made out of burgers and biscuits! Just amazing!

Eating at Hardee's hearkens back to my childhood when I used to visit the Tidewater area where my grandfather and great-grandfather lived. I always associate Hardee's with the "south". Every now and then I get to southern Delaware for a visit too. We were on our way back from Florida and I requested we dine here for our break. It was the stop from hell to be certain, but none of it had to do with the restaurant. We had cheeseburgers, fries, and a beverage. I was pleased with it all. Hardee's is a half-step up from McDonald's. The fries were quite tasty. The restaurant was busy and clean. Service was prompt and courteous.

My first time eating here and I got food poisoning. I think it was the spicy chicken tenders. Regardless I am never coming back.

As a longtime Cookout fan who first discovered the chain during late night college runs in North Carolina, I always make a point to stop by whenever I'm near one of their northernmost locations in Fredericksburg, VA. Over the years, Cookout has come a long way from the plain white Styrofoam trays to the new branded paper boxes with vent holes, which do a great job of keeping fried foods crispy and fresh. I've dined inside this location about half a dozen times and have always had a great experience. The restaurant is consistently clean, the staff are friendly, and service is quick. My go to order is the Cookout Tray with a big double burger prepared Cookout Style, which means Carolina chili, slaw, cheese, and raw onions. I usually get fries and onion rings as my sides. Even though the tray used to be $3.99 back in my college days, the current price of $6.99 still feels like a great value considering the portion size and quality. On my most recent visit, I was extra hungry and decided to try a second mini tray for $5.99. I went with two corndogs as the main and added cheese bites and hush puppies as sides, plus a Snickers milkshake to top it off. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how I remember it. The milkshake was thick and creamy, just the way it should be, and I was absolutely stuffed by the end. Cookout's big double burgers, whether you get them Cookout Style or Cheddar Style with grilled onions, cheese sauce, and bacon, are easily some of the best fast food burgers for the price. Between the generous portions, variety of options, and late night hours (many locations stay open until 3 a.m.), Cookout continues to deliver on both taste and value. Overall, this Fredericksburg location has never disappointed me and remains one of my favorite stops when I'm craving a classic Cookout meal. Five stars all around for great food, friendly service, and consistent quality.

Whenever I'm in Fredericksburg, I'll stop for some Cook Out. Every time I've visited this location,…read morethe staff is always pleasant, friendly and polite and today's visit was no different. I went inside to place my order and it wasn't busy so there no line. Inside was clean and orderly. I ordered a bbq tray with a corn dog and walking taco with jalapeños as my sides and a Cheerwine to drink. The menagerie of menu items is impressive and the fact that corn dogs and walking tacos are offered as sides is amazing on so many levels! (The walking taco is not listed on the online menu but they do have it!) I always order the bbq sandwich with bbq sauce on the side and in addition to the hot sauce and coleslaw it normally comes with. My meal today was nothing short of delicious as per usual and I left for my drive home happy and satisfied with my experience.

Whoever was on the register (a young man) stood out. They treated us very well. Others made sure to address us on the way out and say goodbye. The restaurant was clean and the food was really good. My kids generally eat very healthy and normally hate chicken tenders. They won't eat frozen chicken tenders at all because they are usually overly breaded and just kinda gross. These are NOT that. I had a leftover tender from my daughter and it was sooo good. The kids loved them and my son was impressed. I honestly was so impressed with the service that we want to come back on Sunday for a mommy/son date we have with our friends. You have gained a lifelong customer!

Raising Cane's carryies itself with the confidence of a place that believes it has solved chicken…read more You pull into the drive-thru and immediately get the feeling somebody at corporate headquarters took a field trip to Chick-fil-A with a notebook and binoculars. There stood a cheerful young lady with a tablet beside the speaker box, hustling orders with the urgency of an air traffic controller at Reagan National. Now I will give them this -- they move people through faster than a tax refund disappears in Washington. I ordered three chicken finger baskets and repeated "unsweetened tea" enough times that it should have become part of the permanent record. Reconfirmed it at the second window too. We were in and out in four minutes flat, carrying enough Styrofoam and paper sacks to feed a Little League team. Six minutes later at home, the first sip of tea hit like liquified hummingbird feeder. That "unsweetened" tea had enough sugar in it to put the city of Fredericksburg on insulin monitoring. Somewhere in that kitchen a man clearly believes every Southerner measures tea sweetness by whether the spoon can stand upright in the cup. Then came the fries. Lord help us. These were pale, limp crinkle fries that looked less "fresh fried" and more "recently thawed beside a space heater." Not a hint of crispness. No golden-brown glory. Just soft potato strips lying in the tray like they had accepted defeat long before reaching the fryer. The chicken itself? Tiny little one-inch strips hiding under enough crunchy batter to qualify as exterior siding. Crispy, yes. Generous, no. More breading than bird. The Texas toast arrived soggy enough to make you wonder if it had been steamed instead of toasted. Calling that "Texas toast" is an insult to a state that once fought a war over standards. The lone survivor in this culinary rodeo was the sauce. That special sauce is carrying the entire franchise on its back like a weary mule climbing Pike's Peak. I finally asked my grandson if he had eaten there before. He admitted he had not. He'd simply been told it was great and figured nobody could really mess up chicken fingers and fries. Well. Humanity continues to innovate. Strike Raising Cane's from the regular rotation unless it is 2:00 in the morning, every other restaurant in Virginia is dark, and your soul is screaming for fried chicken through the fog of poor decisions.
