    William - Bill Lewis L.

Typical fast food experience. Something quick and easy on my return trip to Florida from Washington, DC. Very convenient to I-95 on the south side of the street. Christopher was our cashier. 2 meals ordered - a large Classic Double Cheeseburger meal and a small 5 piece Chicken Tender meal. Sprite with the cheeseburger and Coke with the chicken tenders. The best part of the meal was finding the meal complete. Sauces for the chicken tenders and Ketchup for the French Fries. It was a wonderful experience finding everything in the bag. Nothing special to report. Pictures attached - meal was okay. My daughter and I stopped at Hardee's as it's a restaurant not available where we live in South Florida. When traveling, I try to stop at places that are different or not available at home. Christopher the cashier was fast and courteous. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Stopped here on a drive. I love Hardee's burgers, and I also love California burger joints and Hardees is related to the Carl's Jr. chain. My favorite burger is the Mushroom Swiss, and Hardees now also serves the freshly hand dipped chicken tenders made to order. Oh yeah. Place is a bit dumpy, but I didn't come for the ambiance. Also, they bring your order over to your table.

Not much to say, it's Hardees. ::shrugs:: This was my first time actually eating at Hardees and I have to say it was ok. Nothing too exciting but still worth a review. This is your typical fast food joint, which I don't even eat much of, but my boyfriend wanted a quick bite before we went grocery shopping so I tried it out. Entering the place, it wasn't that clean and the table we sat at had a weird, funky smell. Ugh! All I could think is "WHY AM I HERE" then I looked over at my sexy boyfriend and his rugged beard and STILL thought, "WHAT THE F*** AM I HERE DOING HERE?" ha ha ha. Anyways, I decided, hey if I'm going to be fat, I might as well go all out. I ordered the Monster breakfast sandwich and it was ok, but I couldn't even finish it. There was entirely too much meat on there (sausage, ham, & bacon) & I just felt a heart attack coming on. The hash browns are typical. But the one thing I do like and the only reason I would come back is for those blueberry biscuits!!! Mmmm Mmmm Mm. My mouth is watering right now. Those are a must try! The customer service was ok; the girl at the register had no facial expression at all. Kinda freaked me out. I mean damn, I would rather you look mad then "serial killer emotionless". All in all, Hardees, it was a one-time thing for us. I think we should see other people. I may call you once a year for those delicious, succulent, blueberry iced biscuits, but that is all you are good for. Ta-Ta! Favs: Those blueberry biscuits!!! Would Change: Hmmmm it was not as clean as I would like and the customer service was lacking.

What can I say? It's Hardee's...they have awesome biscuit breakfast sandwiches. But what made the visit more awesome, they were passing out Hardee's temporary tattoos! An eagle made out of burgers and biscuits! Just amazing!

Eating at Hardee's hearkens back to my childhood when I used to visit the Tidewater area where my grandfather and great-grandfather lived. I always associate Hardee's with the "south". Every now and then I get to southern Delaware for a visit too. We were on our way back from Florida and I requested we dine here for our break. It was the stop from hell to be certain, but none of it had to do with the restaurant. We had cheeseburgers, fries, and a beverage. I was pleased with it all. Hardee's is a half-step up from McDonald's. The fries were quite tasty. The restaurant was busy and clean. Service was prompt and courteous.

We were able to order whatever drink we wanted on the menu. For food, they brought trays out buffet style. We tried a variety of things. The star of the show was the Brussels sprouts. They were cooked to perfection and had a great sweet sauce. I enjoyed the salad too. They also brought out wings, mini burgers, mini fried chicken sandwiches, and tuna. Some were overcooked, but the flavor was nice. The seating was a bit awkward for a group our size in the private room, but we made it work. It was nice how casual it was.

The menu has a variety of heat options available for their chicken, from "country" (no heat) to mild (a touch of heat), medium (a slap of heat), hot (feel the burn), to burn baby burn (the hottest level). My adult sons, and my son's girlfriend were in town, so there were 5 of us. My oldest son ordered the 4 piece tenders (mild), with fries and a drink, my youngest son ordered a chicken sandwich combo mild, his girlfriend ordered macaroni and cheese and fries, my husband ordered the 4 piece tenders (no heat), and I ordered the 3 piece tenders (no heat), then we split the Joey Eat Fries, which are Boneless breast, Crimson sauce, slaw, pickles, and cheese, over a bed of Crimson fries. We ordered those with our chicken mild. I'm so happy we didn't order beyond mild, because I can't take too much heat, and the mild was too spicy for me, but perfectly spicy for my husband. For those that like very spicy, you will love the heat, it packs a punch! The tenders with no heat, still were amazing! Everyone in our group were highly satisfied with the size of the chicken tenders/sandwich, and were impressed with how juicy and fresh they were, without the greasy texture. My husband is picky about his chicken tenders, and said that these were by far his new favorites in the area. My son's girlfriend said that her Mac and cheese was great, and the fries were good too. But the Joey Eat Fries were fantastic! Sooo good and more than enough for two people to enjoy; massive, and a meal of their own. The only thing that left something to be desired, was the bread. Would have been better toasted with butter, and perhaps a toasted garlic bread option. Prices were comparable to other similar establishments. We were impressed with the friendly service, speed and delivery of the food, and the quality of the meals. Their grand opening is Monday, April 1st, make sure to check them out!
