So I went in the bathroom and there was three men stripped down booty naked dancing and they were singing the Macarena and I haven't even gotten to the food yet. I went to go take a seat and papa roach was there not the singer the a actual huge roach , they gave me my meal and all I ordered was a hand breaded chicken sandwich combo and instead there was no bread just chicken and pickles , I asked for a soda and all they gave me was Baja Blast and I'm allergic , then I accidentally drank it and had an allergic reaction and I almost died , the ambulance picked me up and I'm in the hospital right now . Absolutely the worst service ever!! The girl working the drive thru cussed me out with very vulgar language! Unbelievable!!!! And the only thing I ordered was a big cheeseburger....ordered with no pickles and no onions and it was loaded, not to mention it was cold ! Needless to say, it was thrown in the trash! This is most negative review I have ever done and I have done dozens. We stop here maybe once a week and the drive thru is always backed up. Sunday Feb 28th, I stopped by the drive in and waited several minutes and the 3 cars ahead of me never moved. So pulled out of line and went inside to place my minimal order. There was 1 person ah ad of me in line. We waited at least 10 min before they took his order and 5 more minutes b fire they took mine. There were at least 4 people working the drive up line but accomplished nothing. I have never seen a more disorganized staff in my many stops at a Hardee's. SLOW, SLOW, SLOW!!!!!!!! We've waited over 20 minutes for our food. Isn't this supposed to be fast food???? The girl at the counter says that we're next. Update: at the 30 minute mark and after we saw two groups who ordered after us get their food I had hit my limit. I went to the counter to say that I was not waiting anymore and I wanted my money back. The manager told me they had been waiting on our chicken tenders. Our food was ready and she was getting ready to bring it out to us but she was also going to make it right and give us our money back. When she brought it out she said that they were waiting on our chicken tenders. It was dinner time. Wouldn't you make lots? I did get my money back and I truly appreciate her doing the right thing. Stopped here on my way back to Raleigh for a dinner meal. Ordered the new "grilled cheese bacon cheeseburger" combo. Counter person was very efficient. Self serve tea was out, and the counter person was quick to get my drink for me. Thought the new burger had a good grilled cheese taste. It was served freshly grilled with a hot serving of fries. The interior of this Hardee's had one section with 50's style round tables and soda fountain stools. Interesting concept. It was maybe my third time at a Hardees ever and the menu was a little confusing to me but the cashier was patient with me and explained how their combos worked and what not. This was one of the worst meals we have had in a long time. Okay, I know "it's Hardee's", it is what it is. But seriously how hard is it to get a hamburger right. I've gone here for years....recently, in the last few months...THE SERVICE HAS BEEN SO SLOW! Just yesterday I was in the drive thru for 35 minutes. I usually have good luck when I eat at a Hardee's, which I don't do very often because I don't eat much fast food. Today I was in a hurry and didn't want to cook, so I stopped at the Hardee's in Hertford. First I went inside. There was an older couple in front of me, and they seemed to know the cashier because they stood and talked to her for several minutes while I waited. I was standing a little to one side of them while they had their conversation with the cashier. A large group came in and walked up directly behind the couple, I guess assuming that I had already been waited on. The cashier began taking their orders, ignoring me. I was surprised but, not wanting to make a fuss, I decided it might be faster to go through the drive through. I got in my car, pulled up and gave my order at the speaker, a Little Thickburger meal. I spoke to the shift leader at the window and told her what had happened inside. She was very pleasant, apologized, and said she would speak to the cashier. She took my six dollars and change and handed me the bag, which turned out to contain the wrong food, a spicy chicken sandwich. I live in Elizabeth City, so when I got home and discovered the mistake, it was just too far to go back. It wasn't even something I could eat, and my dog wouldn't eat the peppery breaded chicken pattie, so my six bucks went in the garbage. I won't make the mistake of stopping there again! read more
