To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally complain about the extremely poor customer service and overall experience I had today at the Hardee's restaurant located in the 13,000 block of Hull Street in Midlothian, Virginia. I placed a DoorDash order that included a country ham biscuit along with other food items. When my order arrived at my home, the bag was still sealed, but instead of the country ham biscuit I ordered, there was only a plain biscuit in the bag. Because of this mistake, I had to leave my home and drive to the restaurant myself to get the order corrected, despite already paying DoorDash delivery fees for the convenience of having my food delivered. While I was forced to go to the restaurant, the rest of my food sat at home getting cold. Once I arrived, I asked to speak with the manager. Shockingly, the manager never even came out to speak with me directly. Instead, she yelled from the back of the restaurant that the mistake was "the Dasher's fault," even though the sealed bag clearly contained the wrong item placed there by the restaurant. At no point did she offer an apology or show any concern for the inconvenience caused. What made the situation even worse was her attitude. After I stood waiting for several minutes, she finally said, "What does she want?" in a rude and dismissive manner before replacing the biscuit. As someone who works in customer service and complaint handling professionally, I found this behavior incredibly discouraging, disrespectful, and unacceptable. Because of the careless and hostile way the replacement food was ultimately prepared and handled, I no longer felt comfortable trusting that it was safe or free from contamination, so I chose not to take it. This was one of the most rude and unprofessional customer service experiences I have ever encountered. I will never return to this location, and I will strongly encourage others to think twice before visiting the Hardee's on Hull Street in Midlothian, Virginia. The entire restaurant has fallen into disrepair - floors disgusting and walls and doors are disgusting. Tables not cleaned. Coffee carafe was filthy where u had to push to get your coffee out. If the front of the house looks like this it doesn't make one feel good about the kitchen area read more

Ordered a monster burger combo on the app. Also, ordered chicken tenders and a few wraps on the app as well. Picked up the food, drove several miles back home. No Monster Burger! This combo cost $15 which is what minimum wage workers make in this area. So that was an hour of work. How would someone that works at Hardees feel if they got an hour of work deducted from their pay! This is what they did to me. Gave you guys a chance and you blew it! Sorry but just no. Fries were good though. Tenders were about 2 1/2 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. I think for children under 5? Seriously! But people were nice. The Manager. She is good. I brought 4 burgers from them I requested no cheese on all 4 burgers and all 4 of them had cheese and all the 4 burgers were hard to eat.

TLTR: 1hr long process. Gave me a Chicken BLT with no bacon lettuce or tomatoes. Mold on bread. Me and my brother are now sick. Annoyed staff. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Went there with my brother, there were no other customers in the car line or inside. We waited around 10 minutes for them to finally ask us what our order was. I ordered a #9 (Chicken BLT) with no pickles. Once we ordered we sat down for 40 minutes waiting. Again there was nobody else in the place. They finally gave us our food and we went to our car. We looked in our bag and they gave me pickles which I thought "ugh that's frustrating but whatever" but they also did not add bacon lettuce or tomato. The 3 most important parts of a BLT. We went back so I could get what I ordered and it took them around 8 minutes to put bacon lettuce and tomato on a sandwich. We left and started eating and then I realized there was mold on the bun of my sandwich so I told my brother to check his and sure enough there was mold on his as well. Now we are both sick to our stomachs and never going back there again. First time there today . Went through drive through . My husband wanted a hamburger so I asked if they had a regular hamburger. They said yes . I said no mayo . Got it home and there was mayo and this burger was about half the size of a regular size bun ! Maybe 2.5 in diameter . I have never even seen a kid's burger this small . Fries had very little taste . They told me there was a 4 min wait for my chicken sandwich when I was at the window . It was longer . They really weren't friendly . I took my son out for Mac and cheese, one of his favorites at Hardee's. After paying and pulling into the parking lot to eat, I discovered we were not given a fork so my son could not eat. I went to the front doors to get a fork and found them locked because of low staffing. My son had to wait, food in hand, for 20 minutes while I drove through the drive-through lane again. He was just short of hysterical that he was holding food but could not eat it. By the time we got a fork, his mac and cheese was cold and so was my sandwich. A delay causing cold food and a "sorry about that" attitude is not the level of service I expect of any restaurant. Not getting proper utensils with food is a problem that could be easily solved with a minimum of training. read more

NEVER NEVER NEVER go here early in the morning to get something to eat. I am finally fed up with this place. OK yes I check in a lot of different places that I go to on Yelp but Hardees is not one of them. Trust me I come here at least three times a week to buy food for myself and/or for my employees however I never check in. It's just Hardees that's why. I have gone rounds and rounds with the management and even stepped it up to the regional manager about how disappointing this place is to get open on time at 5 o'clock in the morning. It is over the top ridiculous how this place cannot ever get open on time. I live right near this store and leave about 5 o'clock in the morning to go to work. They are supposed open at 5, it's that simple, and have watched them lose their customer base over and over again because they can't open until 520 or 530. I gave up on Yelping all the problems they have had for months on end hoping it would get better before I had to seriously destroy them on a public forum, but it appears I will have to now. What's even worse is that they advertise they open at 5 o'clock, but if you happen to come here at 5:15 when they're supposed to be open they are actually rude with you that you are standing at their storefront. Believe me this is happened several times to me. I can't believe I have taken a personal beating on this from Hardees as often as I have for as picky as I can be sometimes. Do not go here for breakfast early in the morning please save yourself the headache and the aggravation. Visited on 7/20/22 at 11:AM. Probably one of the filthiest Hardee's I've ever been in. Bathroom was nasty with toilet paper on floor, dirty toilet, dirty sinks. Dining room had napkins and food scraps all over the floor and tables, with flies buzzing around. Condiment trays were empty, as was the napkin dispenser. Wait staff was sullen and inattentive. They have failed AGAIN to meet satisfactory ratings for both customer service and non-laziness. I can not count how many times I have gone over the last two years or more and been told during primary dinner time from like 5pm til 6pm that they were OUT OF CHICKEN and it would be a thirty or forty minute wait. PATHETIC..I can't even believe they are still in business and it's a real shame because I remember back when they opened to gain customers from the Rockwood Plaza area which is the oldest one around. So I really love Hardee's burgers. However, this location was a total let down. My burger wasn't Fresh the lettuce was wilted like it was placed in the microwave and my fries were cold and salty.SMH I just moved to the area and the area is really nice, you would think that the food would be a little fresher. Came by today and what a difference. The biscuit was awesome and a full order of hash rounds.

"Can I take your order...?" I respond with, "Yes, I'd like a number 8, please." The lady says, "Is that all?" I reply, "Umm..I'd like a Sprite with that, make it a Large, and that is all." She mumbles out the words "Ok." and then says softly, "Pull Around." So I did and herd her say something else so I reversed and said, "I'm sorry??" She responds loudly, "Just pull around." I did and what I saw was someone without any gloves, no hair protection, and I didn't see a mask but I am not sure at this moment because the truck driver in front of me was shaking his hand palm open while having a conversation with the associate. Love Hardee's. Always has good burgers. This location is just something else. I was in line with one other car. Waited 5 min for someone to take my order. I waited another 15 minutes for my food. I ordered a large Western burger meal. No BBQ sauce, no bacon, ice cold bun, patties where hard and flavorless. Got a small fry halfway filled and a soda that was all ice. Ordered two 3pc chicken and a 2pc chicken at 1:05. They said they didn't have enough chicken and that it would take 20 mins for it to cook. I come back to the window at 1:33 and she says 2 more mins. It's 1:38... still no service. Finally get food, no napkins or fork/spoons for the three mashed potato's I ordered... Also everyone wants to squint their eyes and have their noses scrunched up like they all have an attitude and don't even want to be there or do their job. Please hire more competent people. A twenty minute wait in the drive thru is not unusual. That is with the clock startef after the order has been submitted. With a wait like that, you would expect the food to be hot. You would be incorrect. read more
