Had lunch with a friend on July 23, 2026. We ordered the appetizer of mini crab cake starter with homemade romoulade. They are normally available on the 'after sun' menu. Our waitress offered this menu to us. They were delicious. I ordered the Prime Rib sandwich - served on a Cuban Roll and a dipping sauce of natural au juice. Would definitely order again. Our Server, Haneen A. was efficient, sweet and just the most perfect server you could want. If you ask for her, you would definitely be so pleased. FOOD IS GOOD BUT I WONT BE RETURNING! - Ok so boom, here goes! I placed curbside orders online two days in a row and the system advised 25 minutes until my orders would be ready. The first night (8/6/26) I arrived at my order pickup time and parked in the curbside parking spot. I called the number on the curbside placard as advised but they didn't answer. I called 5 times and they never answered. Ultimately, I had to go inside and get my food. I was annoyed because that defeats the purpose of ordering curbside. Why offer the service if you can't accommodate it? Additionally when I went inside my order wasn't ready at the promised time. No biggie, Im understanding sometimes so I wait a few minutes. I finally get my food and drink. Im immediately confused because my $6 lemonade was in a plastic to go cup and only filled halfway. I expressed my concern about it and the response was oh it's a pre measured amount. Seriously? For $6 I only get two sips of drink? Again, annoyed, but I remain calm. I then proceed to pay with my phone (tap to pay). Im told "oh we don't have tap to pay, you have to use a physical card." Huh? So why offer curbside pickup if you don't have devices for tap pay? It was a weird response but I didn't even question any further because I was hungry and annoyed so I went on my way. Thank goodness I had a physical card that day. I get home and had to reheat my food because it wasn't even hot. The portions were so small. I swear the pulled pork on my nachos probably weighed 1/2 an ounce. They gave more shredded cheese and queso than pulled pork and remnants of pico de gallo. The $6 side of rice was also a small portion and I definitely expected more for the price. However, despite the night's shenanigans the food was actually good. Since I have this unusual obsession with trying the same meals multiple days consecutively if I like it, I decided to reorder the same meal again the following day (8/7/26). I followed the same process and everything, curbside pickup, but no drink this time. They played once with the drink, not again. I arrived at my pickup time. Had to go inside again unfortunately. This time when I arrived I was told they never received my order because of the storms and internet connection going out with their server so my order was never made and needed to be reordered and prepared. I wasn't upset because storms and things happen you know. However, I waited 40 minutes for nachos to be prepared. As I was patiently waiting, many customers came inside were seated and even started receiving their food orders while I was waiting so I was starting to get annoyed. Then my food finally arrives and Im told I can tap to pay. Ohhh so yall miraculously got tap to pay in the last 24 hours because I tried yesterday and was told yall didn't have it. When I look at the receipt it says the exact comments I placed on my online order. If yall never received my order at all, how would you have known the comments I put on my order specifically stating I wanted all chips and condiments separate to prevent it from getting soggy? Idk, very weird. The food again was good BUT the experience was terrible and the amount of food for the price isn't worth it. I won't be returning to this location anymore. Because of how poor the service, process and portions were both days (8/6/26 & 8/7/26) I deducted 4 stars. I wanted so badly to hate the food because of my experience but it was good so I gave one star. The place has potential but I'm not frequenting again to hope they figure it out next time. read more

My partner and I met some family here on a weekend around 6 o'clock. Parking was a breeze compared to say Cary Street in RVA. We were greeted by enthusiastic hostesses at the entrance, and made our way to the bar-area where our family was sat. Our bartender was knowledgeable and helpful, always ready to pour another drink or mix another cocktail. There was a spirited barback named Gab who was clearly the one running the show. She was running this way and that, cleaning and stocking glasses, keeping the bar clean and orderly, and we even heard of a tap malfunction that she helped to contain in the refrigerated keg area. We only had drinks, and the experience was a pleasure, thanks to the attentive staff of Sedona Taphouse at Westchester Commons. Hands down the best deal in town! We usually try to come here when we want to catch a movie at regal westchester. Great variety, great prices, pretty consistent with good quality food every time we've been here and nice atmosphere. If you want a quiet experience ask to be seated in the room at the back past the bar area. Parking is easy and there's outdoor seating. My son got a blackberry cider which was surprisingly delicious and we all really enjoyed our entrees of shrimp tacos, fish tacos, fish and chips and the grilled salmon with herb butter. Very flexible on the side choice and don't forget to join their club for free- we got to use a $10 reward sent to us just bc we hadn't been in awhile. read more

A takeout disaster. I ordered online, arrived at the time posted and found out my order was not ready because they were making more clam chowder. After waiting about 30 minutes, I finally got my order. I told them I was concerned about my steak due to the delay. I was told to call if dissatisfied. Well, the steak was so cold, it wouldn't even melt the herb butter I put on it. I called to complain and talked to the manager, who apologized, but said he couldn't do anything because the order was technically placed through DoorDash, even though it was a pickup order placed on Sedona's web site!! Food was amazing. The atmosphere was also great. But our server was terrible. She was rude. Never offered a single drink refill for our party of five. We were unable to get drink refills until after we were done eating. She also left our dirty dishes on the table the entire night. We had empty drink glasses, our appetizer plates and our dinner plates. Everything except her was perfect. read more

The food was very good. The environment, however, was not. It was extremely loud and we were having a hard time talking to each other. One person was neurodivergent and had a difficult time with the noise level and that there were no paper napkins. Our server was good but busy so missed some of things we asked for and even refilled a club soda with regular water. Word of advice to diners, if anyone in your group is neurodivergent, make sure they have anything they could need for sound and texture sensitivity. read more

I will begin with you cannot go wrong with any meal you order from Sedona. The food, no matter what you get is always tasty. Service can be slow when it fills up, expect a full house any weekend day. I like how they rotate specials and it's a friendly work environment. Drinks can get expensive and some of their cocktails do not taste like anything of the description. Excellent location. The burgers are pretty solid. I've tried nearly all the salads and they've all been great. They also have a good beer selection. Overall, just a really solid spot. The service can be slow. It seems like they don't have enough servers during busy times. I know that's a common issue these days, but the last few times I've been, we've had to wait a while with empty drinks. Also, the bathrooms are consistently pretty dirty. This was our first time here tonight and I must say everything was great. From our waiter... who I completely forgot his name( short , spiky hair, white male) was absolutely wonderful. We ordered the land and turf and the shrimp stuff crab are to die for. The devil pasta, my son said was also delicious even thought it really doesn't have a kick lol. And the steak was made to perfection. My steak ended up coming out medium rare, but the kitchen and my waiter had me a whole new plate. I regrettably recommended to a friend for us to have dinner here. We were told it was a 10-15 minute wait even though I saw a few empty tables. We thought maybe they were on hold for folks who had reservations. After waiting over 15 minutes, I finally asked why we were still waiting with empty tables still unoccupied. She spoke with her colleagued bc she was in training (so much for who was supposed to be training her) and ended up seating us at the very same table I that had been empty since we walked in) over 15 mins). It gets better- the ac is broken so it was cooler outside than in the restaurant. I felt sorry for the staff especially those in the kitchen. So disappointed in my meal. It was the smallest steak I've ever seen. The size I've seen on kids meals. The steak was seasoned well and the mashed potatoes were very good. The spinach had no taste except for a few chunks of garlic. The stuffed mushrooms with crab meat were missing the crab meat (very little). One of the worst I've ever had. I really should have sent them back. I had the Cactus Lemonade and it was so sweet, more like a sugary juice than a lemonade and it was $6. I did speak to a manager I saw walking around and asked him about the size of steak and he confirmed that's what they serve. I told him my view which didn't matter at all. I also asked about the ac and he confirmed that's it was broke and supposed to be fixed this evening. This establishment should have at least offered a free non-alcoholic drink for the place being so hot! Another guest mentioned how hot is was as she walked out pass our table. I will have to say our waitress Rachel T was wonderful and so sweet. Her service was excellent, but the rest of the experience was why I gave this rating. TLDR; sub par food with a worse experience Service - I had SUCH a bad experience at this location. It's a shame because I love Sedona, and I need more restaurants to go to in Midlo but unfortunately we will not be back. Came for a late lunch around 3, and despite being pretty empty the service was very slow. The part I actually took issue with was I ordered a "side Caesar salad," it looked like a side salad but then I was charged entree price. There is no way that salad is worth over $10. When I spoke to the manager about the fact that I didn't order an entree I was basically told too bad with zero accommodation. I find this practice incredibly unethical. If someone orders a side, and that's not an option, that should be made clear up front. Food: NY Strip: good but not great. Caesar salad: incredibly small portion for an "entree salad" with no protein. The dressing also tasted really bad (not like Caesar dressing). I couldn't finish it. Devils Pass Pasta: delicious! Very disappointing experience at Sedona Taphouse. Service was terrible--our waitress was slow, forgot items, and even rolled her eyes when my sister asked for help with a beer flight. The restaurant wasn't busy, so there's really no excuse. The food was just as bad. Chicken Alfredo was overcooked and oily, not creamy at all. Other dishes were overdone, Brussels sprouts were burnt, my chicken was dry, and the asparagus tasted like a dirty grill. To top it off, my husband got sick shortly after we left. $250 for a meal for five that was poorly executed with awful service. Would not return. read more

We went to Sedona Taphouse just recently. We liked everything thing about it! Alex took care of us and definitely added to our first experience at this restaurant. My wife's go to adult beverage is a Moscow mule. Their's was her favorite of all time! For an app we got their wings and would definitely get them again! I had a grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese tomato honey mustard and red onion. My favorite chicken sandwich in Richmond. Most others are breaded and fried. One of our guests got the shrimp tacos and really enjoyed them. I was going to get them until I read about the grilled chicken sandwich. I don't recall what two other guests ordered but I know that we all enjoyed what we had for dinner. Definitely on our "Go To" list for sure! Will be going back very soon! read more

The location and parking is convenient, the menus has a great variety for all types of eaters, prices are reasonable and I love being able to sit inside or outside. It does get busy even on weekdays. Hostesses just chatting as we stand there waiting to ask for a table, get seated- over 3 beers are out and there were no suggestions for ones available...at a Tap House! Took over 20 minutes to get ice teas and then zero refills after sitting empty for another 30 minutes. Asked for steak tacos without black beans, comes over covered in black beans. Ordered the kids "steak" this was actually just 3 slices of steak. Enough for a toddler, not a real kid. Horrible service, horrible food. Will not be back. read more

The Happy hour menu had so many food options we plan on coming back to try more items we couldn't get too. Sedona Taphouse offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door. The greeters at the entrance are wonderful and accommodating. Even though the bar was crowded, Tommy came right over to serve me. We had a group of people attending a get together so we moved outside when more arrived. Although we were at the very end of the patio (where they placed us for privacy) our server, Cherotich took excellent care of us. Always attentive without being obtrusive and as some other reviews have said, the food and drinks were great. A big thanks to Braden, the manager for checking in on us to make sure we were having an awesome time. We will definitely be going back. read more
