"Well, you could just go in and order, right?" Oh, how I'd love to, but the doors have been locked since March of 2020. I could understand if the dining area is STILL closed because they're short staffed, but, they're not short staffed. I've seen more people working in there when I've gone through the drive-thru than I ever saw working in there before the shutdowns! I can live with a dining area being closed, but at least let people come in and order to-go. This McDonalds is using this "short staffing" thing as an excuse. Do you really feel comfortable being denied the ability to see who is touching your food? I don't. Take a good look through the window next time you hit a drive-thru where the doors are locked...look at the nice pajama pants they're wearing while they dance around to whatever garbage music is blasting through their personal speakers, and sitting on the counter where you order your food from inside, sucking on a milkshake while they stare into their phones. (And, yes, that is exactly what I've seen through the window more than once.) To anyone in Warsaw, VA, or even passing through; stop going here. Stop giving money to people that do not care about their customers. They don't want us in there because they don't want to be held accountable. They're quite enjoying this, I think. So stop giving this McDonalds - and the one in Tappahannock- money until they'll let you walk in the door and see the conditions.

In fact, it dork slapped me that I don't go to burger joints enough! If this spot was closer to me, I would definitely return more often. With them I had their fries. They were CLASSIC fries. Very good and perfectly prepared. If it had any downsides it would be that they ration your ketchup portion. With the prices these days I didn't appreciate that. The atmosphere was wide open and clean. Plenty of covered seating outside. And, best - they had plenty of good staff. Always the sign of a great management team. Pro-tip: They have their own parking lot and plenty of street parking around. However, there is a VERY busy intersection right next door which makes is stupendously difficult to leave in some directions. We ordered our drinks, which came in small pitchers -- a different approach, though I imagine it might lead to some waste. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries to share, and when it came out, the server had already cut the burger in half and split the fries between two plates, which was a nice touch. The burger was really good, and the fries were just as good. After finishing, we ordered a chocolate shake, and it was excellent. Overall, NN Burger was a great find along our drive. Pro-tip, you will probably want the large size it was just that good! Our server was kind and the food came out quite quickly! They have a large parking lot and an ample sized seating area inside. It does have a separate entrance and exit though which I haven't experienced at a restaurant before so just keep that in mind once you are ready to leave. Overall, this is a great Mexican restaurant in Tappahanock. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu but I'd definitely reccomend their pork dishes. I'd like to think it was a temporary situation but on the wall sign which boasted of a clean restroom, someone had written on it, "except for the sewer gas".
