Unlike many stores, Ralph knows all of the products intimately. Not just wine like most places. Along with all f his vodka recommendations, he knows the grain the vodka is distilled from, and can compare the taste to other popular brands, too. On the night I visited I brought food from a local pizza place. They were hosting an event in partnership with a local business or group passionate about letter writing/ handwritten notes. The man running the event passed out cards with envelopes and stamps and it was nice seeing people write and making connections. It was really cool to see how they support a lot of environment and sustainable development initiatives - the relationship they have with the community is a strong one. I was also surprised to learn they host a chess club/ gathering consistently on the weekends - something I'm looking forward to exploring!

There were plenty of families there too. The kids were having a blast on the tire swings and exploring the outdoor play area while the adults relaxed with good food, drinks, and live music.
