The second repair at a later date was to replace the DVD player. I was in the middle of a Windows 7 system rebuild to eliminate a virus when the DVD player broke. I only expected Mr. Maggiore to replace the DVD, but he went ahead on his own time to complete the system rebuild. That is what I call excellent customer service! I have since sent him other business and all of those customers have been equally satisfied.

Hansel even referred me some business, and did some business with me. That is why when he called me out of the blue, at least a year and half sense the last business we did, I had my defenses down. Hansel called, and I was glad to hear from him. We spoke of good times in the past, and then he asked me did I need a web site built, I said sure, he called a couple of time more, and I told him I did not have the down he was looking for, and although I needed a site of my own, I could wait, because I had other priorities LIKE PAYING MY RENT, which I shared with him. He said he understood, and would take anything as a down. Again having my defenses down, I agreed to have him come over my house, and speak about him building a page for me. I am not a tech guy, but the way he was talking I knew he may be in over his head but I was willing to take a chance on him, and allow him to research what he did not know, and deliver me a product. He came over, I allowed him in my home, I fed him, we walked to the bank where I gave him a $100 deposit, and I told him, I knew it was not much, but IT'S A LOT TO ME AT THIS MOMENT AND I WANTED HIM TO UNDERSTAND IF HE TOOK THE MONEY, I WOULD BE HOLDING HIM ACCOUNTABLE TO BUILD A WEBSITE, IN ORDER TO BE PUBLISHED ON THE NET. Hansel said he understood. He took my $100, signed a receipt I drafted, and I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM SENSE. That was a week ago, and I do not expect to hear from him, NOR DO I WANT TO HEAR FROM HIM. Note, I attempted to call him the day after... THE NUMBER HE CALLED ME FROM WAS DISCONNECTED, and I emailed him several times at hanselboyd@gmail.com, and he refused to answer. So I write this review to let whomever reads it know, DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH HANSEL, DESPITE HIS PERSONAL CHARM, that is a con to gain your confidence and take your money without doing any work. I don't know if Hansel is on drugs, or why he would rip a friend off, but whatever his reasons are, he definitely burned a bridge. I texted back and he told me to bring my iMac right down. His quote was one-third of any I got previously from other repair shops. He said he'd do his best to repair by Monday. Over the weekend he called me with updates. Sunday morning he told me I could pick it up. He did everything I asked and more. He couldn't fix my keyboard, so he gave me one to use until I could get a new one. His estimate was dead on. Not a penny more.
