IPhone 17 Pro Max - Screen and back repair Accidentally dropped a weight on my phone and had to get it repaired. Screen was cracked, back glass was cracked and frame was a but dented. Came across Smart Fix and was bit skeptical but reached out. I was able to get immediate response back and he was very transparent on his work. Due to the recent model of the phone, OEM screen sales were just not worth it due to the price and labor cost. basically paying half of the price of what I paid for the phone and thats not including the back glass. So I settled with a soft OLED aftermarket screen for a fraction of it. Pricing to fix both the front screen and back was half the price of what I would pay for a OEM screen alone not including labor fee. After installing, the aftermarket soft OLED. I haven't ran into any issues yet. Face Recognition works, no lags, no dead particles. The only noticeable change from OEM and aftermarket is the screen Bezel size which isn't a deal breaker for me. I watched him fix my phone and he ran through every step. I heard some reviews from other establishments being sneaky writing reviews on their business without the customers knowing or logging into your personal information and etc some horrifying things that invade your privacy. Smart Fix was great, so long as you know what you are getting into. I had a cracked screen for an iPhone 16 pro max and needed to get it replaced. I didn't want to spend $380 to go through Apple, and am replacing this phone soon, so I wasn't concerned with it being an exact OEM replacement. They were quick to respond, had reasonable pricing and was able to come to me within an hour to fix it. All of this was perfect. The only word of caution - they use non-Apple screens, which was fine for my needs, but it does come with some differences. The brightness doesn't work as well as it used to, and the usable display area is noticeably smaller than how it was originally. Also, the refresh rate tops out at 60hz. You likely won't notice, but worth mentioning. The response and color though appear pretty solid. Again, they were great, and this worked for me, but you should know if you are looking for an exact replacement, this won't be it. There is a reason why this is so much less than going through Apple, but I f cost is your main concern, this is the way to go! read more

Sneaky surprise fees. Be careful. He is actually a very nice guy. But his strategy in making you spend more is VERY SNEAKY. He will cheat you out of your money. My first repair went great. He fixed the LCD great and got the iPad to work well. But my kid then got water on it, so we had to get it repaired again at full price... our fault, of course, so we were OK spending the amount again. However, with the second repair, the iPad began glitching immediately and stopped working, as shown in the attached images. He said he would come fix it the next day for free, as I thought there would be a warranty or something on an LCD that didn't work. His exact text said, "So I have to order another LCD that is the only solution in this time I can stand it for you for free my heart was for you. You spending a lot of money." So then he shows up and makes me pay for another LCD even if the prior one was broken from the start.
