Good beer! Quality bar. Great place to have a couple of drinks. Pricey but you get what you pay for!

Date of Visit - 7/3/2016 After lunch in Cocoa Beach, a drive up US 1 and a visit to mama's favorite Tiki Bar in Titusville... We ended up heading over to Playalinda Brewing Company after 2 different people told us how great this place is. We followed the couple we met at Crackerjack's Tiki to Playalinda since we had not been here before. Once we arrived everybody else sat down but I was like a kid in a candy store and taking pictures like a bloody tourist. I have attached pictures of my "Virtual Tour" for your enjoyment BUT you really have to check out this place for yourself to truly appreciate the cool factor. My FAVORITE part was the trip to the men's room where I was greeted by a urinal made from a keg! AWESOME!!! As my followers know I am allergic to alcohol so even though I was able to taste the beers, I am forced to spit them out. SIGH For those of you that can't drink or are the Designated Driver. they make their own Root Beer and I have to say... It is FABULOUS! My wife chose 5 beers to sample, You get (5) 4 oz glasses for $15 which is a tad steep in my experience. Other micro breweries I have visited that offer a sampler like this charge between $8 and $10. That is the ONLY negative thing I have to say... My wife selected 5 choices to try and the Grapefruit and Jamy were the favorites. I tasted each of them and they were all good in their own unique way. Each one of them would have paired well with a different food item. My personal favorite was the one made from Honey... That would have paired nicely with a Bison or Elk burger in my opinion. You have several bites to choose from and even a full Charcuterie board for $18. Boar's Head is the brand of choice it appears but rumor has it The Cuban is pretty tasty so odds are good I will give it a whirl next visit. I had a cooler filled with BBQ waiting for me in the car for when we got home or I would have sampled the bites when I was there. You can bet I will bring an appetite the next trip! The service was great and the people were all happy and NOT sloppy drunk which made for a fun visit. If you are a beer lover and find yourself in Titusville, Fl... Check this place out! My allergy forces me to spit out the beer but at least I get to taste it. Fortunately that Root Beer they make is fabulous and a GREAT replacement for my usual unsweetened tea with lime. I always love a brew pub so I was excited to try this new place! The building is an old hardware store so the inside is really cool looking with lots of wood and even a vintage cash register. The place was busy, and there was people sitting at the tables outside. Inside there are several long wooden tables as well as seats all along the bar. We sat at the bar and were given a menu right away with the beers on tap. A decent selection of beers are served as pints or snifters and it tells you how it's served by each beer description which also tells the alcohol % and the 'bitterness' rating. They have a flight of 5 beers for $9! It's the perfect way to start so you can get a good overview! The also have lots of merchandise for sale and some snack items on the menu. It would have been fantastic to take home a growler of the delicious Bring It IPA but they seem to only be selling them empty. I can't wait to come back and try the next selection of brews! read more

This brewery is great! I came here with three other people and we had a great time. It's located right in the cute little downtown section of Titusville and is very nicely decorated. We tried the beer sampler trays and really enjoyed everything. We liked the servers and the fact that we got to see the equipment used to make the beer right inside the seating area. They have some outside tables, but they fill up quickly. The beers have very detailed descriptions and there a lot of unique flavors available. The servers all seemed knowledgeable and were pleasant. The brewery itself is very clean and airy. The only downside is that, at least when I went, they didn't serve any food. So, you can't come here for a meal and some beer. You have to eat before or after. It's not a huge sacrifice, but just a bit inconvenient for repeat visits. read more

The brew selection is fantastic and they're not picky on letting you sample before purchase, which I can't say the same for every brewery I've been to. The two beers I tried were very good, smooth and packed with taste. They don't have a very large food selection but what they have is delicious! Very cozy and they have a lot on games on hand if you want to play some games and hang out! read more

I really enjoyed tasting the creative beer here! Nice atmosphere and good food. My review would have five stars if the bartenders were better. Unfortunately neither would engage with us. I am a big beer fan and in the industry as well and would have loved to talk a little about the business and share my appreciation of the beer brewed there. It seemed I needed to be a young and cute female or have a beard to get more than minimal service, such a lost opportunity to connect in the countries amazing craft beer scene. P.S.My wife says why make beautiful key lime beer and add cool whip not real whipped cream!!!! read more

I think this place has one of the best atmospheres for a small bar I have ever been to. Nice local bar, so glad they have not changed it due to the larger Playalinda Brewing opening. They are both so different yet both worth a try. read more

Chef Larry's was closed today so my husband and I did a drive around town and saw people gathering in bistro tables outside the hardware store. But it wasn't a hardware store at all, instead we found a brewery tucked among the shops. Old antique hardware drawers and cubbies, worn wooden floors and a door that has seen generations pass were a warm contrast to the shiny stainless brewery equipment. Besides all the unique beer was a simple menu of sandwiches and such that were absolutely delectable. Having arrived starving from a day with the wild on Merritt Island, we left perfectly satisfied. read more

This place is everything I love about a small, local brewery. It is also everything you'd expect to find that makes a place like this worth visiting: a quaint atmosphere, brewing equipment well in view of the bar, Edison bulbs hanging from the ceiling, and lots of copper and wood. My first time here but definitely wont be my last. The place has an awesome, industrial vibe going on and you can see through the actual brewing area in the back. I had the key lime beer. It was fantastic. Never thought about a beer like that but I must admit, I really liked it. I also had the steak sandwich. It's not called that but I can't remember the name at the moment. It was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Overall, I really liked this place and will definitely make this a regular stop from now on. read more

We stopped here to check out the brewery. Nice place and the wait staff was very nice. The downtown area was dead on a Sat night, but the brewery was hopping with people. We had a flight (5 small beers $15) a beer $6. and a pretzel with dipsl $5. I thought the price for the flight was overpriced, most flights we get around Florida run around $8-$10. Feels like a "locals only" place. Didn't feel welcomed for a first timer on a Friday at 9p. If you're new to the place, maybe go during the day. Not sure I'd go back. Cider options were decent. read more

A personal favorite hometown glory! Quality craft beer and atmosphere. It's hard to go wrong with the bottomless blonde ale and the Go Big is a tasty dark beer. I say the Go Big reminds me of cigars and summer nights. They have four tv's and it's a great place for watching football. Love it here! read more

There are lots of things to like here. For starters the ultra cool old hardware store building. By re purposing it in to a brewery and pub, they have given this gem of building a new lease on life. We very much enjoyed the flights of beer we tried here. They rotate the selections on a regular basis. We were advised to come back soon and try the Christmas brew which will have a cranberry flavor. read more

Met with friends in Titusville and discovered this delightful brew pub. We enjoyed the first night so much we were back for another night. Kyle was one of the best, most helpful and friendliest servers we've experienced in recent memory. Food was great and the Nitro Irish Coffee Stout was the best brew the four of us have ever had. I wish this place was closer! We live an hour away but decided to venture up there. Great beer selection! There is a beer for everyone. Don't drink alcohol? Try the root beer! We only had a pretzel to eat but it was hot and came with yummy dipping sauces. I love to see old buildings used and they did an awesome job repurposing the hardware store. Wonderful brewery in quaint downtown Titusville. We went for a tap takeover event and I ended up having all of Playalinda's selections on draft. Their beer lineup is solid. I thought they were all great. There was even a spicy jalapeño beer that was killer. We also tried a few of their food dishes and none of it disappointed. Cool setup with indoor and outdoor seating right next to some of their brewing equipment. There is something for everyone here and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend. read more
