Great brewery in Titusville! Kinda stumbled upon it. Started out with a beer flight then settled on the Eppy Pen - peanut flavored beer which was really good. They had a key lime beer that everyone seemed to be drinking too. Had the buffalo chicken dip - THE BEST I HAVE HAD. Will go back! read more

I was already a big fan of the beer brewed here as lots of places in Orlando have carried various one-off brews, all of which were outstanding. Finally made it to the brewery and wasn't disappointed. Super fresh beer, and several unique takes (I really liked he zero-IBU pale ale, which was perfect for a post-beach beer); Pub grub was superb , and the fish dip is essential. Service was great, vibe was super relaxed and friendly. All I wish is that it were closer to Orlando. read more

Not the most pleasurable experience. From worst to best. The place in noisy, but that's the nature of the beast. Seating was a challenge. The food was a D- at best. Kettle Chips were an F-. A generous portion of flavorless inedible tree bark would have been preferable. What a shame as they were serving other meals with the same garbage. Rueben was a D-. Soggy. A double stack from Arby's would have been better. What a shame as it seems it has a well equipped kitchen. Service was OK and straight forward. The best was the Pear Cider. Very tasty and puts the beers to ales to shame. Will probably go again, just not anytime soon. read more

A great craft brewery located in the heart of downtown Titusville. They usually have at least half a dozen of their own beers on tap, as well as plenty of other guest taps. Interestingly, the brewing equipment is located right in the taproom, without any walls or windows to separate you. So it's neat to see things up close without having to go on a tour. They also make select beers available via growlers if you want some to take home. I didn't get a chance to try any food, but bar service was quick and friendly. Definitely plan on visiting again! read more

This is a review of a visit the week of Christmas. Back home in Titusville for Christmas with the fam, I was really looking forward to trying the beers at PBC. Over the last several months, I'd been following the progress for the brewery, and was so delighted that Titusville would have this kind of business right downtown. The place did not disappoint! I walked in and immediately saw someone I went to high school with (many many years ago) - so, two seconds in, and I felt like a regular. The decor is incredibly well done - just beautiful. Lots of space to hang out with groups, but with the bar going the length of the venue, plenty of opportunity for quieter conversations. A group of five tried a few different beers (shout out to the pumpkin ale). Service was good - not overfly friendly, but very competent and fast. Appreciate management's explanation in other posts below about the food presentation. We also ordered the cheese plate, and laughed when we got two huge blocks of cheese and unwrapped salami. But it wasn't a big deal to open that all ourselves and start eating. And honestly, it's so much food for about $15! Still, an explanation on the presentation WHILE THERE would've been helpful. If they see side-eye from the customer, it takes two seconds for bartenders to say, "I know this isn't ideal, but state laws say this is how we have to present food when operating as a brewery." Shift the presumed blame from the restaurant to the legislature. FInally, two thumbs up for the swag. My brother and I bought sweatshirts so we can spread the word about Playalinda Brewing Company in Washington, DC and San Francisco. read more

Yuck, yuck and HORRIBLE service! Sat at 2, and you seriously can't come over to take my order? Then, when I do order you tell me you are out of the coffee stout. I later hear you tell another customer there is a new vanilla porter. Funny, I wasn't offered that! WTH. I will stick with the 3 breweries in Volusia County. This place is rad. 20 house made beers on tap. Guest taps in house too. Very nice staff as well. While we were there a gentleman came in and asked for a budwiser.(?) Kara helped him to a beer that he did not enjoy. So I handed him a sip of my raspberry ok. He freaking loved it. And what's not to love hints of berry and mildly sweet. With a overload of vanilla in a good way. So Kara switched him out and he is now an old dude with a new love for craft beer. Ah it takes me back. Spread the love peeps! And if your hitting the coast for a beach day in Merrit Island Or Coco. Please stop in and have there amazing beers I know I cany wait to return. read more

Great beer that you can buy by the growler (esp. the simcoe pale ale), a woody and comfortable former hardware store. We loved the cascade of real hop flowers adorning the shelves. Cole, the beer tender, kept us informed and happy, and though we didn't get a chance to talk, the brewers were sitting six feet away from their fan club (us)! read more

Amazing brewery! They are almost deserving of five starts, but I have three complaints: the wait time for service can often be long on the weekends, they often refuse to fill growlers, and the fact that they only have one restroom in the whole bar. Other than that, the beers are amazing, and the atmosphere and decor are beautiful. The servers are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, but they appear short staffed on the weekends. read more

Table #8 on 11/06/2016 closed check @ 7:07pm. Interesting experience.. It started as a (5).. and then.. So, it was my daughter's birthday and I have been eager to try this place out. Now, mind you.. this is my first Yelp review, I have never posted before, and its 3am. So, this stuck with me so much.. I did something new to get this out. When you go in, the place looks really industrial, sleek, and just really nice. The lighting and the high ceilings were pretty impressive. Even the bathrooms were cool. With the urinal handles being from Bud Light drafts (funny) and half kegs made into urinals. Neat, all around. What caught me as odd was only a couple of big TVs in a place that screams as a great, upscale sports bar. We waited about 5 minutes for a table. They were busy, no problem. Sat down and the table was still wet from them cleaning it. Not a big deal. I got the hostess attention and he dried it with a towel. Waited a bit for the waitress. She showed up in about 5 minutes. We ordered beer and cheese pretzels (amazing), parmesan cheese fries (okay), and the pork rinds (solid), kids had homemade root beer. Wish the waitress would have explained that there were no refills. Annoying, but it happens. I got an IPA and the wife an amber. Beers were good. Here's where it went south.. We placed our orders, burgers and ruebens (pretty good) with kettle chips and fries. My wife asked for napkins, kids asked for ketchup, mayo.. Kids wanted refills.. Maybe another beer? The waitress was absent. MIA. It took 15 minutes to finally see her again when she did bring the condiments. We saw soon that she was focused on cleaning / doing prep work and we ended up with another waitress that was clearly overwhelmed splitting checks with another table. Essentially, we were forgotten. I had to make several trips to the bar to get basic things.. Yes, even napkins. I think my wife asked 5 times for napkins. It was really sad considering we spent over $100 and it was a new experience for us. Its really rare to see a place look like that and have a good beer selection with decent food and have service that bad. The check said 'Jordan' was my server. No idea. I met my wife at a restaurant.. We were both servers / bartenders.. so, we know what its like, but this was just negligence. We did end up getting desserts for my wife and the birthday girl when the new (she just picked us up) waitress showed up.. we would have gotten more beer and tried other stuff.. but just wanted to get out. We ended up picking up McDonalds for the other kids. Another thing I noticed, was that after the last NFL game the staff left the TVs on '60 Minutes' for the full hour. I didn't have a game that I wanted to watch, was more amused that they didn't seem attentive to make sure that sports / entertainment was being shown. I think its a general problem they have of not focusing on the service. At least the night I was there. The place has potential. I am REALLY hoping this is not the way the place normally operates. I am willing to give them another try. read more

Meh. We stopped in to try out some beers and fill our growler. We got a flight of their beers and were unimpressed overall. Each one either tasted like they tried too hard to give it "flavor" or were too watery. The ambiance feels commercial and canned, like its part of a chain (almost Cracker Barrel feeling). The waitress was kind of clueless, and the pretzel was soooo greasy and overpriced it wasn't funny. And worst of all they wouldn't fill our growler because it's 128 ounces and they "only fill 64 ounce growlers" (but their other location will, this was the manager's decision not a law). Ummm, so I could fill two 64 ounce growlers and pour them in this one but you won't do that part for me? Basically, you don't want to sell your own beer? Huh?!? We won't be back, nor will we go out of way to buy this brand of beer anywhere else. No thanks, we'll take our growler and money elsewhere. read more

BRIX PROJECT: REFRESHING new addition to T'ville! KUDOS to Donna and Bryan Scott, and Ron and Katie Raik for creating an exceptional "hangout" in Titusville. Brix is nothing short of AWESOME, and fills a much-needed gap of "where to go" that's modern, visually appealing, and offers a great food fare! There is also a great mix of locals and a lot of new faces, as many of the patrons are part of the craft beer/brewery culture. According to our server, Brix has already attracted visitors from as far south as Sebastian, and as far north as Jacksonville. OUTSTANDING!! The day we visited was a late Sunday afternoon, and the place was packed. However, we had various seating options: either wait for a 2-top and/or 4-top table that lines the far right wall; or immediately sit/stand/share a taller pub table, located in the middle of the venue; or locate seating at the bar on the far left side. While explaining the seating options, our hostess saw two patrons preparing to leave and immediately told us that she would prepare the table for us and quickly ran to the table to "claim it" for us. She also told another hostess that that table was slated for us so that it would not be given away while she bussed and cleaned it. That was great! (What I later witnessed is that the "people flow" in this place is constant, so tables and seating readily become available quickly.) Once seated, our friendly server immediately took and delivered our beverage orders; which was a great feat considering she had all the tables in that row. I am absolutely amused by the water container. (Go and see.) Here are the things I found exceptional about this place: First, there is so much to look at. The place is warm, inviting and beautifully decorated in industrial chic: complete with wrought-iron/wooden tables, barn lights (of course) and concrete floors. Behind the bar is a large glass window with a spectacular view of the beer silos. Second, the staff is great! It's refreshing to see this type of positive attitude and energy from a group of workers. They all seemed to work well together and were very friendly. We had various servers take our order; deliver our drinks; deliver our food; bus our tables; etc., and all were incredibly nice. Third, the food was/is exactly what Titusville needs! Thanks to Executive Chef, Justin Medina, the menu is clever and varied. There should be something for every palate and price range. We started with the prawns and pork rinds. The pork rinds, ("house made chicharones dusted with a smoky chili rub, served with a side of hot sauce $4"), were ordered because I found it humorous that it was even on the menu. Man were they good! I even shared them with curious folks at the table next to me. They enjoyed them, very much, as well. The tempura prawns, ("6 jumbo prawns lightly fried and tossed in a house thai curry $12"), were huge and dipped in a Thai curry sauce. Very good also. Our main meals were the oxtail stew, ("with beans, red wine, over polenta cake $12"), and the pan-seared chicken ("with crispy pancetta, white wine mushroom cream, served over pasta $14"). Both were very flavorful though came to the table cold - very cold. I won't let that deter me from coming back to try all of their menu fares, however, as the chef has created a menu interesting enough to make me curious. I think it's exceptional, especially for the area. My friend had several of the different craft beers, and all were tasty. If you've been to Playalinda Brewing Company, then you're already familiar with their great beers, ales, stouts. Finally, the price. As mentioned earlier, there are prices to satiate all budgets. Our meal consisted of two appetizers, (ample enough to be shared); 2 main courses; and two craft beers for ~$55.00. Was a great afternoon out! Most exceptional first visit of a food and drink establishment I've experienced in a very long time! I can't wait to go back! read more

An oasis in Titusville, excellent appetizers, good service and an unexpected good wine!

This was a first stop during my trip to DeLand. I was immediately impressed with the area. The place is surrounded by antique stores, a monthly occurring farmer's market and some good food options, including a food truck. This open air space is great for groups as most of the seating is made up of dining table sets. Dogs are very welcome here. My fiance and I were able to try all of their beers in two flights, which were very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back to this great Florida find. read more

One of my favorite breweries in central Florida! Definitely worth the trip to titusville if you're anywhere near the coast. Very cool tap room and many unique beers. The only downside is that their growler fill list is extremely limited. read more

Came in to check it out before visiting the space center. Super friendly staff and a great facility. The beer was very good with some unique flavors. Standouts include the Honey Bee Belgian and the Strawbeery Sponge Cake. As a guy who does not love sweet beers, these two had a good balance of flavor and sweetness. If you are in Titusville, definitely make this one of your stops! read more

I was puzzled by the exterior--it has a Sherwin Williams sign on the front and from a distance I thought it was a paint store. I knew there was a brewery somewhere along the street, but wasn't expecting it to be disguised as a hardware store. The interior was beautifully done, salvaging distressed wood and transforming it into a nice bar. The beer was good and service was pleasant and efficient. One of the times we were there recently was on a Friday and the place was jammed packed. It seems like it's the place to be in Titusville. The food was a complete puzzlement, however. I was quite put off by the $5 pretzel. Bar snacks were either strange or hideously overpriced. A group at a table was eating popcorn, however inquiries revealed that it's a special order just for that group. Very bizarre. So, come for the beer--forget any food. read more

Every time I go to Playalinda, I thoroughly enjoy the delicious beers. They always have a good variety on the menu between what's on tap, guest tap and bottle. However, I have to mention during my most recent visit, the service was terrific and deserves special recognition. Jayme and Logan treated myself and my party with great humor and hospitality to match. The beer and staff will keep me coming back! I highly recommend. Fun place to go and meet friends. Great selection of craft beers and they offer wine and homemade root beer. The menu is fun and good. Trivia is on Monday nights. Big plus in my opinion is that the owners are super nice and very generous to the community.The Old Hardware Store has been restored beautifully and there is outside seating. read more

Coming from Tampa, which is a Mecca for beer enthusiasts, I was impressed. Large enough yet small enough facility, great beer, and something unique - a key lime pie beer (addictive) that is served with whipped cream around the lip of the glass, which added such a special flavor to the beer, absolutely delightful. Never seen anything like that, anywhere - it was really cool, and worth going out of your way to have one. Environment and service were great. read more
