I called for an appointment and waited one week. The day of the appointment I called to get a…read morewindow of time when the electrician would be coming to complete the requested work. None could be given except that I would receive a call thirty minutes prior to the arrival. At 2:30 in the afternoon the call finally happened and he said he'd be here in 20 minutes. The technician arrived and within 15 minutes I was told that he'd have to run diagnostic testing. I had to sign off off on the paperwork charging me over $300 or I could pay the $75 trip charge and nothing would be completed. Of course after waiting a week and most of the day I signed the contract. 15 minutes later the problem was identified and fixed, a ridiculous amount of money was charged. I do not recommend this company!!! Although the work was completed within 35 minutes start to finish, the amount of money spent was way over the top! I'm more than sure another company could have done just as good a job, given me a time frame when they would arrive and charged me less than half of what I was charged. Shame on Current Electric.

They were less expensive than another company I looked at so I decided to go with them and they did a great job! One of the light fixtures I bought was broken (unknown to me) and they didn't even tell me until later that they went to get a replacement for me and didn't charge me for it! Admittedly they were unsure if they broke it, but either way it was nice that they took care of it without needing me to go get and pay for the replacement. They even vacuumed after themselves to clean up. Could not recommend more!

The initial water mitigation company I hired had an electrician and he never even noticed the dangerous electrical issues. I still had concerns and called Nold Electric. Kevin Nold came out and because of his experiencr, knew what questions to ask. Through his line of questioning he discovered our main breaker box had sustained significant water damage. He also pointed out that all the wiring (in the walls) that had been wet and needed to be replaced along with additional light fixtures. Nold electric did an outstanding job of putting in the new panel, lots and lots of wiring, new outlets, light fixtures, and switches. Kevin Nold was detailed and discussed the locations of each outlet to make sure it worked for our family. He even made suggestions to help save energy. Nold Electric even went above and beyond and surprised my daughter by installing an outlet up near her ceiling so she could string up her decorative lights(and he even connected it to a switch) at no charge . Laid back, honest hard working and actually cares about his customers. A genuinely nice person. He's been in the business for a long time and really knows his trade. Highly recommended!!!
