Two technicians were sent, and it turned out that the billing was calculated at $185 **per person per hour**, including drive time that appeared longer than travel time at rush hour from their headquarters according to Google. After reviewing the invoice, I had to seek legal advice and confirmed through an independent witness that the technicians were on site for only a few hours. We ultimately reached a resolution after considerable back-and-forth. I would recommend asking for a written estimate and a clear explanation of hourly billing before authorizing work. Write down everything and do not proceed unless you have a written estimate you agree with.
