When nothing worked unplugging the kitchen drain they returned again and tried through my bathroom sink. After three visits they left thinking issues resolved and then my bathroom sink plugged. I took a picture of the stuff coming out my bathroom sink that was plugged by this time. So I went down in person to maintenance with the photo of the crap plugging it up and they returned for the FOURTH time. At this time. I'm not sure if it's fixed but it's going to have to do for now. Over the course of my apartment sale, it felt again and again like he was advocating for the buyer, not for me. I told him clearly and repeatedly that the sale was "as is," but he kept pushing back as though he didn't understand or simply chose to ignore me -- this same pattern ran through much of our interactions, with him just pushing and pushing. Communication was close to impossible. He told me four separate times over three weeks that he'd return my keys, and never did. Getting a status update was like pulling teeth -- at one point I had to ask the same question three days in a row before getting a response. When I raised these communication problems, he insisted there'd never been any issue, just ten days after telling me himself, "I'm not sure if we are on the same page." He also wasn't a reliable source of information. He reversed a confident statement about appraiser requirements within half an hour of making it. He called a smoke detector setup "sufficient," then reversed himself that same evening. He predicted a gas permit would take three weeks -- some of the delay was his recommended plumber's fault, but it still ran well past that estimate. He even claimed a pipe had "always" been outside the wall, which I know for a fact wasn't true. I fired him at one point over all this, but had to bring him back on since he was the agent who'd shown the unit to the buyer who ultimately purchased it. Shortly before closing, he pushed hard for a price reduction from $740,000 to $700,000 -- the deal eventually closed at $740,000 -- but he seemed to consistently argue for what the buyer wanted rather than holding firm on my behalf. If you're selling, I'd look elsewhere -- this was genuinely a horrible experience.

Most recently Caroline Bracey sent me a letter demanding I have a professional inspect my air conditioner. She was not interested in having an interaction but saw an opportunity to a false sense of superiority. She never asked me my version of the situation or what my solution might be, but repeatedly demanded I hire a professional to fix the issue. Other employers are totally respectful and collaborate. Others in my building speak of that office in a negative way.

When the legal paperwork finally came in (after I threatened calling a tenant attorney), they said we had to pay $6,200 in outstanding payments (which is more than our rent amount) to sign it - then when I asked again they changed it to $2,000. Their accounting team is also terrible by the way. After this whole 2 month debacle, they upped the new tenants rent by 17 PERCENT for a one year re-sign. They also refused to cover the June 1-11 rent and made us pay it - even though they caused the delays
