Ok, today as we were coming into Duluth, the trike started having problems. We pulled into the parking lot for the train ride and decided to just let it cool off and check it when we got back and it was cooled down. Upon checking, we had no oil! We have no idea what happened. We never saw any leaks anywhere. The bottom of the trike was dry as were the exhaust pipes. So, I called Harley Davidson Sport Center in Duluth. They took my information and said they would call me back. When Dennis called back he was as dumbfounded as my husband was. He then asked where we were and said he was on his way. He rode the ten miles from the dealership to us. He did this on his own bike. He brought oil. He and my husband looked at everything and couldn't figure out where the oil may have gone. Now, with oil in, the trike sounded so much better. We followed Dennis back to the dealership where he and my husband looked in all other places on the trike to see if the oil had pooled somewhere else. Nope. So, after adding the oil and checking everything else out, we were ready to be on our way. When we went to check out, we were only charged for the oil that we used! Nothing for the service, or for him coming down to rescue us!! Unheard of! Oh, and Dennis? He is the owner! He didn't send anyone else, he came personally! What we were afraid was going to cost who knows what, or potentially end our trip, turned into such an amazing faith restored in humanity moment. I am so grateful for Dennis and Harley Davidson Sport Center in Duluth. Happy ending. I am so grateful. read more

Wow... one review at one star. :( Well here's a 4 for ya! I stopped in today in the middle of a snow storm and was greeted immediately. I wasn't bothered while I found what I needed. I went to check out and use my USAA credit card. The clerk asked if I was military (husband is) and gave me the military discount. Super clean place, friendly staff. Nice place. read more

Just purchased my second bike from these fine folks. 2017 Ultra Limited. I added it to the '14 Heritage I got here 2 1/2 yrs ago. No pressure sales, incredibly accommodating test rides and comparison shopping for right bike for wife and me, and top notch service always. Josh went over new bike, answered all my ?s, took his time. Have 35K miles on '14, and it's like new thanks to great service crew. Many reasons I came back to buy another bike! On a ride to Ely, one of my buddies HD had a leaky front fork. Called HD of Duluth Friday night and got in right away on Saturday. Unbelievable great customer service and hospitality while we waited. If I ever do buy a HD (sorry for parking my Goldwing there) I would drive from the cities and BUY it from them. Thanks again Dennis for your awesome help and knowledge! read more

A group of us from the Sioux Falls, SD area were on a 4 day ride through Minnesota. Unfortunately on 7/20/2012, a Road King in our group snapped the drive-line belt. We were stranded in a little town about an hour away from Duluth and many hours away from Sioux Falls. We called Larry in the Service Dept at Duluth Harley Davidson about our situation. He had the parts, but the best he could offer was to get the bike in on 8/1/2012, over 10 days later. Why so many days later? According to Larry, his schedule was full with bikes to get in before Sturgis. I'm a reasonable person, but with Sturgis being a couple of weeks away, I'm pretty sure that schedules could have been adjusted to help us get back on the road as we had very few options. It didn't happen. Thanks Duluth Harley. Hopefully nobody else is left stranded and has to rely on this shop. read more

We had some time to kill in Duluth the weekend of 8/23/12 so being Harley owners, we went to Duluth Harley just to look around. We are from New Richmond, Wi so about 200 miles away. We fell in love with a 2013 Road King and decided to trade our current Road King in for the 2013. We love the bike but the transaction was disappointing. We had motel reservations to go back to Duluth to take care of all the paperwork on Monday, 9/3 (the end of the holiday weekend) for $67 for the night, then we'd pick up the bike on Tuesday, 9/4 and head home. We got a call on 8/30 from our salesman asking us if we could pick it up on Friday, 8/31 so they could show the sale on their August reports - the start of the holiday weekend - so the room was $147.00! He said he'd make it worth our while. Not only did he not make it worth our while, we were charged 20% MORE than we were quoted. The owner did not shake hands after the transaction or thank us for coming back to Duluth to make the purchase (there are 5 Harley dealerships closer to us than Duluth). In fact, we felt as though they were doing us a favor by allowing us to buy it from them. We were not offered an in-store discount for a limited time for any other purchases we might have wanted to make (boots, sunglasses, grips, etc) as was offered when we purchased from other dealerships. We LOVE our new bike but probably won't do business in Duluth again. read more
