Don't get me wrong, however. Skyline (or Gold Star, or Blue Ash, etc) is great. Both recipes are excellent, but Dixie's taste is a little bolder. And, when comparing macros to macros, Dixie stacks up better (more protein, less fat). BOLD FLAVORS: Note that one option for the Dixie's chili mac is the famous "6 way." A 6-way, is the standard Cinci/Greek "5-way," (Spaghetti, chili, beans, onions, cheese) with the addition of chopped garlic! Be careful with the 6 way...it doesn't take much garlic to overpower the other flavors. Atmosphere: Classic retro diner-ish vibes. The service was excellent also. Want the best chili is the area? You can tell Spiros isn't there to oversee the quality. And when the issues I can see are obvious, it makes me wonder where else has quality has declined like cleanliness and sanitation. I still love Dixie but would really like to see quality improve.
