We endorse him without reservation. We had asked for a quote to replace our air conditioning/heating unit. Rick arrived promptly and in uniform (shirt and trousers). There are very few techs, who show up easy to identify the company they work for by their appearance. After introducing himself and confirming the purpose of the visit, Rick went right to it. He identified quickly that our AC unit, and consequently the air return opening in the ceiling, is too small for the house square footage. He also advised us that the air flow in the current ducts is too low by taking a meter reading. In fact, each of his observations was based on readings from devices, not personal guesses. In our parting discussion, Rick noted in detail an additional aspect of our cooling system, which is no longer compliant with industry standards and how we could address it. Rick completed a fairly thorough investigation of our system and presented his findings and his suggested resolutions in a way we could understand. It's one thing to be a thorough expert, but it's quite another to be able to explain the findings in a way that the customer(s) will be able to make an educated decision how to proceed. This company has deceptive business practices. They came to pump my septic tank and only did half…read morethe job while charging me the full price. I had even dug out the riser that I knew of, but they told me there was another lid that I might want to find a "friend with an excavator" to dig up! Further, the technician Rich stated that for him to basically poke around and find this other lid to complete the job would cost $3,000. I've since done some research and called a number of other companies and was told that this estimate is RIDICULOUS. You also wouldn't expect to "excavate" the whole area with large machinery. Good technicians know within a few feet how to locate this and also use probes that can easily and quickly find the lid under only about 2.5ft of dirt. Instead, the technician left the other half of the tank un pumped and charged me the full price of the promotion for half the work. When I called about my dissatisfaction they would only let me talk to a "quality assurance person" who failed to offer to have someone come back or remedy the situation. Before hanging up on me the gentleman suggested he was the only person I could talk to, there was no manager. He basically kept saying, "we said it was UP TO 1000 gallons, so half the tank and half the job is still UP TO 1000 gallons, now do you get how our special PROMO works?" I want to make sure nobody else in the Phoenix area uses this company, they also weren't local and complained about the heat and made up excuses and exorbitant costs to not have to dig up the lid to the other side of my tank to complete the job competently and professionally. Unfortunately, they failed in all regards and were very rude when I called the office for a solution.

They were climbing under the house trying to find a clogged filter (that doesn't exist). Lee Davidson came out, did diagnostics, found the clogs and did the repairs efficiently and skillfully. Then I found out that he had actually installed it years earlier. So if you have a boiler, don't call a plumber or a heating company, call Davidson (they're both), that's my advice. He also came out at night and made sure we didn't have to sleep in the cold.
