    Seasonal pumpkin cream latte
    Graysen V.

Harlow and pearl is so fun and great quality! Located in the back corner of a shop, the staff did a great job moving the line through quickly. The prices feel a bit staggering at first, but the coffees are large, and the taste is well worth it. Harlow and pearl does what a lot of coffee shops have stopped doing and that's coming up with creative flavors and layering their beverages above and beyond. Between my friends and I, we tried the pumpkin spice, banana pudding, and butterbeer. Every single one was a hit, with fun notes such as marshmallow and sauce in addition to syrup, they also add to the fun vibes by giving you a cute little animal with your drink (we got ducks, frogs, and a unicorn!)

I've been meaning to visit Harlow and Pearl for its unique lattes, rave Yelp reviews, and the little duckies that come with the drinks! The cafe itself is located within the manor full of wares and items similar to an indoor flea market maze. Staff is friendly and helped me make a decision due to some tasty seasonal options and couldn't pick! My fiancé got the pistachio oat milk latte and I got the red velvet latte with a frothy foam on top. The drink itself was delicious!! Wonderful pick me up for the afternoon.

I don't know if it's just the drinks we got or if all of them taste like this, but they taste really off. There was almost a fennel taste in the s'mores drink and the birthday cake looked like an unappetizing green color when the frostings started to mix. I wouldn't get a specialty coffee here again, I'd just get something simple. It's obvious that the team there is working really hard, but it's a long wait for your coffee on the weekends so I wouldn't pick this if you're in a rush. It's inside a market that has the cutest vendors. Tons of clothes and home decor.

    chocolate covered strawberry mocha!

We visited Harlow and Pearl in Mount Pleasant and absolutely loved it! We tried the chocolate covered strawberry mocha and WOW - it was delicious, creamy, and somehow tasted even better than we expected. You can tell they put care into their drinks. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They also had plenty of milk alternatives available, which we appreciated. The only downside was finding it. Since it's located inside a retail store, it was a bit difficult to locate. The signage indicating which entrance to use for coffee was misleading the doors marked for direct access were locked and/or blocked. The coffee staff mentioned that the retail business owner decided to close the direct-access doors, even though they would prefer them open for guests. The store itself is a bit crowded, which made navigating to the coffee shop slightly challenging. For reference, Harlow and Pearl is in the back right of the store. Honestly, we followed the amazing smell of their drinks to get there! Overall, amazing time and amazing coffee. We'll definitely be back!

Having heard of this spot, but not having been (mostly due to the location, when I rarely go to Mt. P), we decided to take a drive one weekend to check it out. It's adorable and they have their own little corner inside the store. I got the special of the day (Moonbeam latte) and it basically tasted like melted chocolate ice cream. It was fun with some edible glitter and the blue foam on top was a nice touch. I love the little animal charm they put on the top also. We decided to take our drinks onto the porch and enjoy the nice day. There wasn't much interaction with the staff, but sometimes, that's ok with me! A friend of mine has been a few times & said the owner is really nice, I just didn't get the chance to talk to her. It won't be somewhere go all of the time due to the location, but it's worth a stop if you're in the area!

I cannot say enough good things about Harlow and Pearl!! The atmosphere, the staff, the drinks, everything is amazing! Nichole, the owner, is so creative and comes up with the most impressive specials every week/season. I almost never end up getting the same thing twice because I'm so excited to try everything. If you have questions about anything, the baristas are happy to answer and be honest with you whether you love sweet coffees or you're looking to taste the quality of the espresso.

Cute Spot with Great Aesthetics, but Slow Service This little coffee shop has a super cute aesthetic and really leans into the art of drink presentation with a little animal charm on top! My husband ordered The Elvis--a specialty latte--and it was fantastic. Beautifully made and delicious. I ordered a chai latte, which was just okay. I had actually asked for a dirty chai, but I don't think the gal taking our order understood what that meant. I kind of assumed "dirty" (adding a shot of espresso) was standard lingo at most coffee spots. The line was very long for a Sunday, and the service was noticeably slow. It felt like the staff were still getting into the rhythm of things, and the person taking our order didn't seem confident about the menu or drink options. With the line growing behind us, I didn't bother correcting the order. That said, it's a great little spot to grab a drink while browsing around Modern Manor--just don't be in a rush.

    Banana Pudding Cold Brew
    Mariah D.

I don't know why nobody has said this in the reviews yet because it would've been very helpful for us to know when going our first time that there is NO SIGNAGE on the outside or anywhere for that matter but it is located inside a store called Modern Manor which doesn't open until 10am. They do not read or respond to their reviews so I doubt that will change.Anyways, I had an amazing cold brew. It was the Banana Pudding Cold Brew and it was one of the best specialty coffees I have ever had! My husband said his latte was good but wish they had regular milk and they do not offer that only 2

    Matcha!

Had some scary Halloween drinks! Iced matcha with ube cold foam. The drink was refreshing a sweet. Cool little corner in modern manor. There are even stools to sit on . The service was quick! Great way to get in the Halloween spirit !

    Frankenstein matcha
    Autumn C.

Came here for the first time to try the Frankenstein matcha because I love everything Halloween! It had an ube cold foam and that was probably my favorite part of it. So yummy! My favorite part of the experience was probably that this coffee shop is located inside of Modern manor, a cool boutique. Come try this spooky drink before the month ends!

    Dubai Chocolate Latte
    Amanda H.

I've stopped in twice now for specialty drinks (the dubai chocolate latte and the smores latte) and both times I've really enjoyed them. The staff is very friendly while they are always busy, there's never an insane wait for your order! I appreciate that they rotate specials that you can't find anywhere else (looking at you, banana pudding latte). They also collab with other small businesses in the area, which makes my heart happy! It's a little out of the way for me to stop in daily, but anytime I'm in the area I make it a point to swing in!

    Neeve O.

the coffee was tasty and the menu items fun -- the king cake latte was fun to try a sip of, super super sweet for me but if you love sweet coffees this is a great treat!! there was only one ' fun ' drink option, the rest were just simple coffee based, my coratdo was fantastic!! service was painfully slow, although the staff was incredibly friendly and its nice to be able to walk around and shop while you wait, it is definitely a wait kinda place!!

    Teresa F.

Fun little spot to grab an iced coffee and a free popsicle to enjoy while walking around the many little shops. Plenty of gifts, decor, clothing. Easy parking. Not a ton of selection or food but worth a stop.

    What an adorable duck!

We each ordered a panini. I went with the vegetarian option and my husband had the smoked salmon. Both were very good--fresh ingredients and tasty flavors--and came with a small side salad. The chocolate-filled pastry and the pecan almond cinnamon roll were both excellent, and the coffees were tasty (though my café au lait was a bit on the smaller side). The standout was the service. The young lady working the counter was genuinely friendly, helpful, and patient as we asked questions and took our time deciding. It made the whole visit feel welcoming. Overall, although the price was a bit high for lunch and dessert, we had a pleasant experience and will definitely be back for another lunch or just to grab pastries and coffee. Despite the big crowd, they were able to get our Coffee and Food out quickly. As we waited, we enjoyed the soft sound of music that was dialed to the perfect volume level creating a relaxing environment to get work done and enjoy our breakfast. My Latte came out first, unlike many coffee shops, the balance between milk and espresso was flawless. To preface this reaction, I do enjoy tasting the robust flavors of the beans in a latte, and they nailed it at Owlbear. The Frothy Effervescent milk foam was immaculate; the baristas here are consumate professionals.... Now, on to the breakfast burrito. I asked the sales associate for her recommendation between the lox bagel and the breakfast burrito; she stated that the Burrito was a very popular item, so I gave that a go. I was blown away. What stood out to me was the slight hint of lime in the āhuacamōlli (hear me out) made this burrito unique and special. The spice level was not overbearing and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. To wrap things up, I highly recommend Owlbear cafe, and will be visiting again when I voyage to Charleston later this summer; one thing to keep in mind with Owlbear are the portion sizes, I wouldn't call myself a "big eater"; However I was left wanting more food as the portions are very small, almost warranting a removal of star #5
