This was such a pleasant first stop in Charleston! I crossed the bridge into Mount Pleasant and found it. The inside is huge, bright and welcoming. There was a sizable line. I ordered the strawberry cardemom latte without the cardemom. It was delicious! IT had straweberry jam coating the sides and a delicious strawberry cold foam. The quality of the espresso was perfetct. While you are waiting for your coffee you can peruse the little gift/homemade craft section. They had a great playlist going and the staff was very friendly. I recently had the misfortune of dining at Bloom & Bean. The mushroom toast I ordered was a ketchup-soaked disaster. The kitchen's heavy-handedness with the condiment was staggering. I brought it to the server's attention, hoping for a resolution, but instead, the bearded cook shot me a dirty look and shook his head. The lack of professionalism was appalling. And to add insult to injury, our lattes were lukewarm at best. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. NO you did not!!! I had to ask for something else!! NO offer was made! A lovely local business that offers a bright and welcoming atmosphere to enjoy coffee, lattes, cold brew and some small bites. The interior is much larger than expected, which offers lots of little corners and nooks to gather. The color palette is so zen and spa like, it works perfectly for both this shopping center and the beach crowd. And it's really nice to see such greenery and plant life inside, just thriving. There are entrances on two sides, which makes parking close pretty simple. The shopping center can get busy on the weekends but I had no trouble finding parking today. I was there to pick up a few pastries for my morning crew and the process was simple and quick. The staff was friendly and focused. They have 2 really well thought out unisex single stall bathrooms that are large enough to accommodate anyone who might need some help. I was here with my family and we had three ham sandwiches and a salad. The chef came out. It was very pleasant and gracious to the customers. My wife had a delicious peach salad. The ham sandwiches were slightly overcooked as the crust were inedible. We thought it could use a little bit of greenery in addition to the ham, cheese, and fig spread. In this heat wave, we were disappointed to see that every single table inside was taken up with an individual on a laptop. It's great that the place had such nice ambience and is welcoming, but unfortunate that there were no tables available for four people. We took it to go and ate outside. Their coffee is amazing. They use great tasting beans from a local roaster, which are not by any means acidic. Their syrups and milk options are carefully selected, offering high quality flavor and health benefits (seed oil free options). We tried their pH latte (cinnamon, vanilla, honey) and vanilla bean whip espresso- both were so fantastic. The store smells so good, had fresh bouquets, and cute aesthetic. Checked out Bloom & Bean after a yoga class as they gave a free coffee QR code with a free small bouquet of flowers to promote business! The establishment itself was adorable! There was a pretty long line when I got there and it moved pretty quick which was great. For being a brand new business, they seemed to be running smoothly with no hiccups. My friends got the blooming bee latte which they enjoyed and I got the strawberry cardamon latte. It was very different when it came to flavor but enjoyable. We couldn't stay long as we had things to do but finding somewhere to sit was easy and I definitely will be back to try their food options! Hoping they have much success! read more

The baristas were very kind and efficient. We had to wait to find a spot to sit down at 11 am, on a Monday, because it's that busy! I got the strawberry cardamom latte and my husband got an iced mocha and added strawberry cold foam to it, a custom request that was easily accommodated. The strawberry cardamom latte had a sweet, floral flavor I appreciated and the mocha was amazing! We got a double chocolate cookie and a Nutella croissant, both incredible, but especially the croissant!!! We would go back and try something else! Thank you! read more

I bought their "flower cup" last Thursday for $8.50. Today, I bought another flower cup for $18.50. I pointed out the discrepancy to the cashier and she said, "oh no, they have never been $8.50." I responded, "well, they were last Thursday and the cashier at that time and I discussed how it was a bargain." Again, she was adamant, "no, you are mistaken". It isn't that I find $18.50 to be unreasonable but I do resent being told that told that I am wrong when I know that I am not. There could have been several valid reasons for the price change. ... almost forgot that the same cashier spent a few minutes chatting with her friends at the register while I patiently stood in line waiting to pay. This place has a lot to learn about professionalism and customer service. A perfect start to the day! Loved the fresh flowers and the store aesthetic. Everything was perfectly balanced. Enjoyed the ph latte soo much that I had to return the next day. The variety of milk alternatives is fantastic! Purchased some of the fresh beans to be able to enjoy back home in Pittsburgh. i thought it was okay. we picked this place for coffee and quick breakfast because the reviews were so high. We ordered two iced lattes, the overnight oats, and a veggie omelet. The lattes were pretty standard to me, nothing really super special or stand out.
