Spinach and Feta Womelette, add sausage. DELISH!
    Jennie D.

I made a post about this place almost a year ago, but that was before I ever tried their food. I honestly can't believe I waited this long! We ordered Womelettes, and if you're wondering what that is, think of it as a savory waffle-iron creation made with eggs, cheese, onions, and peppers, served with sour cream and salsa. My friend kept hers simple with just eggs and cheese, but I went all in and ordered the spinach and feta Womelette with added sausage. OMG. Absolute perfection. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, full of flavor, and totally unique. I feel like I just discovered my new breakfast hot spot. Next time I'm coming back hungrier because now I want to try everything on that menu.

On a quick day trip to Mount Pleasant we were on the hunt of some coffee in the early a.m. and Boy boy are we glad we stumbled upon this gem? Customer service was phenomenal! The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. I got a breakfast sandwich. My partner got an iced coffee with a lemon poppyseed muffin. The muffins were just placed in the case and it was nice warm and delicious. The coughing was made exceptionally well and was absolutely amazing but the star of the show was definitely the breakfast sandwich normally when I asked for my bacon extra crispy and my croissant toasted dart from other establishments it's not done correctly. One loss kitchen staff did it absolutely correct. It was just the way that I like it 10 out of 10 the eggs on the sandwich was so flavorful and so delicious. I cannot wait for my next trip back to Mount Pleasant because I will definitely be stopping by again!

Just Love is a nice chain alternative to Starbucks with lots of breakfast/brunch and beverage choices. Service.was quick ... I ordered a cold brew at the counter which was prepared immediately. It was bold and strong! Prices are comparable to Starbucks. Cold beverages come in two sizes. The interior is unremarkable; however, there are a good number of tables. The location is excellent ... a few door down from the Hwy. 17 Trader Joe's so parking is easy. Check it out ... you'll be pleased!

Just Love Coffee has recently opened in Mt. Pleasant, and it fits right into the local vibe with its cute, shabby chic décor and cozy ambience. The space is warm, welcoming, and definitely Instagram-worthy--perfect for a casual catch-up or a quiet moment with your laptop. The staff are truly the highlight here: super friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they're trying to make each customer feel at home, and that effort goes a long way. As for the coffee... I really wanted to love it. I ordered a café au lait, but the flavor was a bit underwhelming. Hoping to give it a boost, I went back for a double shot of espresso to add in, but even that didn't quite do the trick. It just didn't hit the mark in terms of depth or richness. That said, it's a lovely spot with great service, and I'll probably give it another shot down the line--maybe trying a different roast or one of their specialty drinks. Here's hoping the coffee catches up to the atmosphere!

I don't do coffee but my husband said it was very good. He got two breakfast sandwiches which were also good, however he did think that the total bill was a tad pricey for what he got, but said he would definitely return. I did not taste because the man I'm married to still after all these years doesn't know not to get cheese on my eggs. So he had two. Thanks honey. Didn't like the tip suggestion. He is always more than generous, did do the 20%, but might have done more.

Very cute and picture worthy inside! The staff were super friendly and drinks came out quick! Indoor and outdoor seating. Great selection of both food and drink if need a quick pick me up to get your day going.

What I got when I ordered biscuits & gravy. Not even close to what the ordering website photo showed

Ordered biscuits & gravy - got waffle pieces and 2 tablespoons of gravy. Not at all what the website ordering picture showed nor what I expected when I ordered biscuits & gravy

I visited Just Love Coffee July 19th and July 20th while on a work trip. The staff were very welcoming/friendly and made recommendations when ordering food. Drinks and food were both delicious!

Cheap cup, no sleeve and feels like the cup is going to collapse. Bitter inn less than 5 minutes.

Well when you are going to charge more money for a medium (Grande) than Starbucks.... You better have better coffee. This is old sludge.. not even sure how long it was sitting there before they poured. 3.60 for a Grande Coffee that you could get at the gas station. Its funny how franchises make these places feel good and never deliver. I could run through a list that ha e tried and failed. What makes you think this place will be different? If you can't make a cup of coffee, water and beans. How can anything else be good. The back of my throat is burning in bad bitter taste. I did try.

Lovely place. You should be here eating and drinking, not at Starbucks. I promise you'll love it. Good food. Good drinks. Nice atmosphere.

The food is authentic, organic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They have a great selection, including drinks, coffee, cakes, paninis, and sandwiches, and everything I've had has been excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with its own unique style and personality. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area, which makes it even better when the weather is nice. But the best part for me is the customer service. The owner and cook always treat me like family, come out to talk, and make the experience personal every single time. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a big difference. I'm really glad we have a place like this in Mount Pleasant -- authentic food, great atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. Three thumbs up, five stars. Highly recommend.

The space/area are cute, with accessible parking. There is an outdoor area with tables/chairs - not sure if they are associated with the cafe specifically or not, but customers were utilizing them. They have options for breakfast (served until 12pm) and various salads, wraps, and sandwiches for lunch. We were greeted upon entering and the woman at the counter was very friendly. I chose the Spicy Chicken Wrap and a caramel frappe. The frappe was pretty and also yummy. The wrap was huge - I could only eat half of it. It was essentially a large salad wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't that spicy, but it was tasty. Service was quick, the place was clean, staff was friendly, and the food was good. I would certainly go back again.

It was one of those moments when they told us they were full, but two people left the bar at the same time. We were so lucky! So many people were waiting. We started off with Mai Tai's and they were delicious! The bar stools were super comfortable and the entire restaurant was beautiful. We shared a shrimp roll as an appetizer and it was incredible. We also loved the fries that garnished it; they were almost like a hash brown. We also shared a pasta with ricotta that was incredible. We ended the evening with a gin drink that was featured on the menu. So glad we were able to eat here!

Despite being ready when reservations opened, the best we could manage was a lunch reservation. No worries though because lunch at Obstinate Daughter is better than no Obstinate Daughter at all. We were able to find parking in the neighborhood and had a short walk to Middle Street. From the moment we entered the establishment, I understood the hype. Our server, Sara H., was wonderful throughout the entire meal and we kicked things off with cocktails: the Abandon Ship and All Hands on Deck. Both were excellent and set the tone for what turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip - and there were a lot of highlights!!! I also ordered the Tuna Crudo special, which was incredibly fresh and a great way to start my meal. For the table, we shared the Local Lettuce Salad, the Farro with Chicken, and the Moultrie Pizza. Everything was seriously fantastic. The Local Lettuce Salad was simple but executed perfectly with croutons, parmesan, egg, and buttermilk vinaigrette. The Moultrie Pizza, topped with pepperoni, Mepkin Abbey shiitake mushrooms, tomato, mozzarella, and parmesan, disappeared quickly. And the true star of the meal for me was the Farro with Chicken. The combination of Brussels sprouts, peanuts, balsamic, black truffle, and perfectly cooked chicken was absolutely incredible. If I lived nearby, I would order this dish again and again without hesitation. Considering the restaurant's location on Sullivan's Island and its well-earned reputation, I also thought the prices were relatively reasonable. I loved the vibes. It was packed but the service never wavered. This meal was so, so, so, so, so good. In fact, if we could have snagged another reservation during the same trip, I absolutely would have returned. The hype is real. Obstinate Daughter is worth it!

Ordered an iced vanilla latte, it was pretty tasty. Loaded avocado bowl was decent. Avocado was fresh and ripe. Egg made the way I ordered. They fry it a little which explains the saltiness. I expected the charcuterie board type. Sourdough crostini was way too toasted, I was only able to buy into the middle part. ~$30 on a meal that was just really not worth it.

Despite the big crowd, they were able to get our Coffee and Food out quickly. As we waited, we enjoyed the soft sound of music that was dialed to the perfect volume level creating a relaxing environment to get work done and enjoy our breakfast. My Latte came out first, unlike many coffee shops, the balance between milk and espresso was flawless. To preface this reaction, I do enjoy tasting the robust flavors of the beans in a latte, and they nailed it at Owlbear. The Frothy Effervescent milk foam was immaculate; the baristas here are consumate professionals.... Now, on to the breakfast burrito. I asked the sales associate for her recommendation between the lox bagel and the breakfast burrito; she stated that the Burrito was a very popular item, so I gave that a go. I was blown away. What stood out to me was the slight hint of lime in the āhuacamōlli (hear me out) made this burrito unique and special. The spice level was not overbearing and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. To wrap things up, I highly recommend Owlbear cafe, and will be visiting again when I voyage to Charleston later this summer; one thing to keep in mind with Owlbear are the portion sizes, I wouldn't call myself a "big eater"; However I was left wanting more food as the portions are very small, almost warranting a removal of star #5
