When I pointed that out, her demeanor became noticeably frustrated. She told us to go back to the original tables and said she would have to "pull something together herself." The interaction took place in front of other customers and felt unnecessarily uncomfortable and embarrassing. As more of our family arrived, we decided to leave. It wasn't the 20-minute wait that bothered us--we completely understand restaurants get busy. It was the lack of professionalism and the way we were treated. We felt like our group was an inconvenience rather than welcomed as customers. It was disappointing, especially since we had been looking forward to eating there.
