I hope this place and Dr. Chris Knoebel's caring and high quality approach to veterinarian medicine expands in Des Moines. One of our dogs go here for a heart condition - our first emergency, and the first time they treated her, they fit us in the day before Christmas Eve, the very last half hour that they were open. Dr K was very upfront with us to tell us that our dog could pass away any time. Despite that, the team at MacRae has done their very best to help us give her the best care possible, without charging us a fortune even though they could. Their prices are super fair. The place is small and everytime I have gone it has been clean although dated. All of the staff including the doctors are so friendly and courteous.
