This store is a true gem with an extensive selection of wigs, bundles, braiding hair, ponytails, and more. Not to mention, they also offer adorable accessories, including scarfs and cute outfits. What makes this store even more special is the incredible staff. Gilma, in particular, is an absolute delight. She is always there to greet me with a smile and help me find exactly what I need, even if I don't know what I'm looking for. The owner is also very sweet and always ready to ring me up. The staff is so kind and respectful to their customers. I'm always greeted with a smile and warmly asked if I need any help. The selection is very broad for braiding hair! So many colors and brands to choose from. The store also carries African soap, eyelashes, and natural hair care brands. You can even pick up hair jewelry and other items needed to maintain hair. There are wave caps, thin combs, and if I'm not mistaken they have prepackaged Remy hair. It's a good beauty shop that's not far from me! I'll be stopping in again soon! read more

Not a large selection but if you have straight black hair you're in luck! Color #2 is good for natural black brown hair. One decent sized bundle is 75 bucks - without clips. The bundle with built in clips looked good too but not as good as the plain wefts. They take CC and the store is right next to Ralphs/rite aid for errands! read more

Cheap prices, great quality, great varieties! When I discovered this place 2 years ago I was so happy! The owner is so nice, so sweet and she always has everything that I need... This place had everything that I was looking for, but its safe to assume that they discriminate against certain customers with more melanin. They kept their eye on me the entire time and did NOT let me out of their sight. This is a pattern that I tried to ignore. I wanted to believe they were being helpful. They hovered over me as I shopped and even attempted to take things out of my hand to take to the front counter after I repeatedly told them that I was okay and didn't need them to monitor me or what I was attempting to buy. I don't need help buying things as I know exactly what I'm looking for and made it obvious when I told them 3 times that I don't need help. I came in a after a workout wearing gym clothes so if I wanted to steal I couldn't anyways. You can't fit a 32 oz container of hair bleach in yoga pants. Its a shame they'd assume that and watch me like a hawk in the sky. The "help" then became very aggressive.It was very invasive. I felt very uncomfortable and shook my head in disbelief at how they'd treat a good hard working person. My money spends the same as any other person. I was reading labels and seeing what they had for future references and just taking my time. They were rushing me and it almost seemed like harassment. That crap was sooooo annoying. I held my composure, made my purchase and exited with grace. Im new to LA and just moved to Koreatown. Next time I'll uber to Eden's Beauty. They're a lot nicer to me there. I choose a wig (I needed one for a Halloween costume) and the lady gives me major stink eye for choosing one on the top shelf. She reluctantly gets her stick and throws me the wig ... Ummm alright ... I let her know the occasion and ask her if I am putting on the wig correctly ... She responds with "what else you want!" I walked out. It's a no for me. I only came here because my normal beauty supply was out of the specific braid hair I needed. Although they did have a large selection the service and inconvenience are not worth it. I know small businesses struggle with theft but being closely followed and stared at from the moment I walk in until the moment I leave does not encourage me to return. The workers are not pleasant or welcoming. This location is also extremely hard to find parking. If you're looking for a beauty supply, keep yelping, I can't recommend this place. read more

A woman named Swoon (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was terrific --I called Uber from the store- she came out and chatted with me as I waited for my Uber ride. Rude rude rude. The owner told me on the phone there's a $1 "deposit fee" when you try on wigs and she'll give it back to you if you don't damage the wig. I walked in, asked to try on the wig and it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I walked around the store looking if there was anything else and there wasn't so I went to the lady to get my dollar back and she told me "oh if you don't buy the wig I keep your dollar" in the most rude ugly laugh.
