They are so friendly to me and my wife. Not too many bars in Rhode Island are as friendly as the ones here in Charleston South Carolina, but this one sure is. Staff members were eating in the hallway near the entrance where customers walk in, which is not something guests should have to see. Employees should be taking breaks in a designated area away from the public. To make matters worse, the bartender was openly vaping while working. That is completely inappropriate and unacceptable in a restaurant setting. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also a major concern. The overall appearance was sloppy and unkempt, making it feel unsanitary. Finally, we ordered the Buffalo chicken nachos, and they were incredibly disappointing. They were poorly prepared, skimpy on toppings, and looked like very little care went into making them. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had. Wow - this may have just become my favorite coffee! I ordered the Beach Bum - a summer seasonal latte with coconut, hazelnut and vanilla as an iced coffee and it was absolutely delicious. It earned a permanent spot in my cup holder for the drive home and I was already thinking about my next visit before I got there. The shop itself is cute and welcoming. I even had the chance to watch Scott Groome painting a new mural outside and it's going to look fantastic. The staff were friendly, patient and happy to answer my questions, which made the visit even better. My only complaint is that the menu changes a little too quickly. There were drinks I wanted to come back and try that were already gone! That's probably just another reason I'll have to keep stopping by.
