I'm reserving the 5th star until I take one of their regularly scheduled classes. I didn't even know until I saw this special event advertised that Bodhi had opened a new location. Years ago I used to be a regular at the downtown location, but the classes got so crowded that I eventually looked for other studios. According to a classmate of mine this morning, the classes at the new location are still pretty small since they just opened. Even though it is a bit of a haul for me to get out there, it might be worth it to take a more intimate class with some of the instructors that I loved from the original location. This studio also has a small boutique and cafe in the front and the studio itself is really nice and clean with a wall of windows. I did find it funny though as we talked about taking life slower and not getting caught up in the rat race of life that I was looking at the sign for Best Buy in the reflection of the mirror.

Had a wonderful conversation with the ladies. Their supplements are quality. Which is great. Most are synthetic and a waste of your money. Also they have a lot of services too. The owners are welcoming and appreciative, the pricing is great, the studio is brand new and so clean! The best of all was the infrared heat rather than a traditional heater. It was so much more comfortable with the infrared and has more benefits! I've had inflamed connective tissue in my shoulder for a month. I had several treatments: acupuncture, massage, and chiropractic visits. All helped but the Bikram session actually relieved the pain yesterday and I still feel great! I also want to mention the floor-I'm not sure what the material is but it feels really clean and unique. I highly recommend this studio!

After getting things straight with the chiro I decided to try bikram yoga to maintain my neck and spine recovery. I no longer have to visit my chiro for maintenance sessions and that is all due to bikram yoga. If I neglect to attend class I can feel the mild pain and limited range of motion return to my neck. The studio is very clean and the staff are welcoming. They know everyone by name and greet each person when they walk in. The instructors are professional and friendly. It is apparent that they have been leading bikram yoga classes for many years. They know exactly what to say and how hard to push the class.

You might have to circle a bit to find parking, but it's not bad at all considering how many shops and businesses are right next door. If you happen to have kiddos joining you, the studio offers to watch them in a designated indoor play space while you get your barre on (schedule permitting). Compared to other barre3 studios that I've tried in the past, the classes at this location feel like a much better workout. The movements are more comprehensive, more challenging, and will definitely work you out no matter your fitness level. I love the variety of hand weights and resistance bands that are used, and how every exercise can be modified to meet your body's needs. I take classes more frequently with Chris and Sheila, and both ladies are wonderful. My only wish is that they had more classes earlier and later in the day!
