Dr Brown and the whole group at Harmony Vet are amazing professionals and empathetic humans. They cared for Doug, my silky terrier, for 8 years. He was an active 7 yr old when we moved to CO and chose Harmony and passed peacefully at 14. Dr Brown and her team were with us in the happy times and supported us in the senior years. The receptionists, vet techs, nurses, business partner, and doctors give the best care possible!! I will continue using them when ready to have a new puppy!

My Service dog Pretty Eyes is CLEAN!! This is an Awesome Small store with everything!…read more Best of all, are the PET WASH and affordable, no time constraints, Great Shampoos and Conditioners, easy water nozzle to use, with a soft spray and a hose for drying all in one location! The employees do the clean up, but leave THE BATHING AREA CLEAN PLEASE. With Buggies chirping as we bathed. Lots of dogs need baths here in Arvada after visiting all the dog parks. My Baby is a Service dog and Pretty Eyes loves to run and jump, READY FOR MY BATH TIME. You are presented with a bucket with 2 or 3 towels, rubber curry comb and wire curry to get all that under growth hair, fuzzy wuzzies! One suggestion I will make, do not bother with the Human aprons, they are water proof, great??? The water runs off the apron onto your jeans, pants, legs; suggestion both your Dog & yourself take a bath together. We have been going to Pet Supplies places for a time, this time was our first in Arvada for we Jumped Ship from Denver/Wheat Ridge finally and there are plenty of these wonderful Doggy bathing areas. This location was perfect, easy to get to, drove into a parking slot immediately in front of the store, it had SHADE!! The bathing area was cleaned, and more dogs coming and going with human in tow. Everyone is very nice and helpful, plus a FREE doggy biscuit when leaving! AWESOME

This place has rescheduled my appt for my dog 4 times now, the last being this morning ONE hour…read morebefore the appt when I had taken time off work and already given my dog sedation mediation to help his stress level at the vet. The lady with the accent tried to gaslight me and say that 2 people called me yesterday to reschedule when I have ONE voicemail from someone CONFIRMING the appt. Picture attached to review. That employee needs to GO because what a liar and how awful is it to gaslight customers! Also this place needs to fix their available appt times if they constantly can't keep them. What a nightmare. Thanks Banfied for ruining multiple days for me. Updated to 3 stars because after Banfield FINALLY kept the appt for my dog, I'm very happy with how the rest of the staff and Dr. Alexander Kingston Turner interacted with my anxious dog. There was also confusion because the person that rescheduled our appt labeled it as a new adopted dog exam when I've been seeing them for a year ‍ I sincerely hope this staff member gets better training.

Longtime Clients Deeply Disappointed…read more We've been taking our dogs to Banfield since they were puppies -- they're now 12 and 13 -- so we've been loyal clients for well over a decade. For many years, we felt the care was good and the wellness plans were a great value. The doctors were kind, and we appreciated the reminders for vaccines and annual visits. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, things have really gone downhill. Prices have gone up significantly, and what used to be included in our wellness plan -- like dental cleanings -- is now an expensive add-on. Between annual exams, tests, and medications, we've spent close to $1,000 in a month recently just to keep up with routine care. What's been even more frustrating is how disorganized the office has become. We no longer receive reminder calls for vaccines or annual checkups, and when we do try to schedule, it's often a month or more before we can get in. The final straw for us was a recent issue with refilling our dog's prescription. I called ahead, was told it would be ready the next day, but when I arrived, it wasn't. I was told to come back two days later because the vet needed to approve it. When I returned, the prescriptions still weren't ready and there were no notes or updates in the system. Being told to come back a third time for a routine refill -- after calling ahead and following up twice -- is just unacceptable. After more than a decade with Banfield, it's disheartening to feel like our dogs' care -- and our time -- no longer matter. I don't know if it's understaffing, disorganization, or corporate changes, but the quality of service and attention to clients has really declined. We're now seriously considering moving our pets' care elsewhere.

Unsupervised outside. During the tour, there was no one outside watching the dogs. 4.) Employees treated poorly. I observed the owner, Kris, speaking poorly to an employee (harsh language and unwilling to listen). How do you think employees will treat your dog if they are treated this way? 5.) Owner, Kris, trying to hide something. Their website features lush grass, not gravel. Clean kennels, not poop-laden dirty ones. Nice, friendly employees, etc... My experience with this place happened a few years ago but I happened to drive past it today and…read moreremembered what a horrible experience I had with this place. I had meant to write this review back when the incident occurred as well as write them a letter letting them know what frauds I think they are. Long story short, I made a mistake and one of my dogs ran outside of my fence and bit another dog as it was walking by with his owner (yes the owner kicked my dog and his dog bit my dog as well but ultimately it was my fault and I owned up to it). I immediately sent the dog to my vet and it was stitched up like new....except the dog owner called the cops on me. I ended up in court. Part of the whole process (which I'll save my opinion for another time) was that I had to have a behavioral analysis done. The court gave me a list of several places I could go and this place was on the list. I chose this place because my vet vouched for the business. I took my dogs (yes, the courts put both of my dogs on doggie thug list) and the man was such an arrogant man and was very condescending towards me. However, after several behavioral tests with other dogs he acknowledged that my dogs are not aggressive towards people or dogs. We talked and most of what he told me was a positive review of my dogs. I felt confident until I actually received a copy of the letter the man sent to the court. It was absolutely nothing like the conversation we had and the experience we had. He made me and my dogs out to be thugs. Perhaps this man is anti pit bull but it was absolutely a lie on paper. The funny part is the judge didn't give two rat's ass about what this person wrote. He got his outrageous amount of money for being a pretentious know it all about dogs and puffing his ego up by degrading me, not just my dogs, with his spiteful words. Since this experience I've been able to move forward and volunteer many hours with dogs and people helping them understand the importance of training and education especially when it comes to bully breeds. This man can blow it out his a** for trying to pretend to be something he's not. And....if this place has maybe changed ownership since my experience, I do apologize for this rant but I forgot how upset I was over that man's false words to the court. So...moral of the story...be a responsible dog owner so you don't get your dogs in trouble and end up having to pay money to scoundrels like the carpet baggers at this place.
