We are fortunate enough to live just down the street from Harold's. We love everything about the place, the owners, the patrons, the ambiance and of course the delicious food. Everything is made from scratch and it's worth the wait. I suggest the classic beef burger with Harold secret sauce, regular fries and a Mexican vanilla milkshake. Amazing! The food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic. We returned back multiple times and had great food each time. This is a safe space for people with celiac or gluten sensitivities. They also have lots of vegan options. They took extra care to not cross contaminate the food and it was delicious. I highly recommend this diner and hope to come back soon! read more

A quirky and charming little diner with some excellent food! Harold's has the feeling of eating breakfast at your grandma's house that hasn't been updated since the 70's (in the best way possible). One of the owners was working the counter on our visit, and he took the time to give us some recommendations for sights and local bars to check out. Expect to wait a little bit for your food, as it's a smaller operation and everything is made to order, but it gives you plenty of time to explore the cool vintage artifacts scattered throughout the place. We just had an outstanding lunch at Harold's in Eureka Springs, and I genuinely can't stop thinking about it. I ordered the Blue Plate Special -- a pimento cheese burger -- and it was hands down one of the best meals I've had, period. Not just a great burger... an incredible meal. We started with the buffalo oyster mushrooms, and wow -- the batter was light, crispy, and the sauce had just the right kick. A perfect starter. My wife ordered a burger with mushrooms, onions, bacon, and goat cheese, and that bacon deserves a shout-out of its own: thick-cut, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. Every bite of both burgers was juicy, fresh, and full of flavor. The atmosphere? Super charming. It's set in a house, which makes it feel cozy and relaxed. You can actually talk over your meal -- the music plays from an LP, just loud enough to set the vibe without overwhelming the space. The staff were friendly and welcoming -- it felt like having lunch at a friend's place who just happens to be an amazing chef. Harold's is an easy 10/10. Honestly this place was an upset all over. My potatoes and eggs were good. My husband got Biscuits & Chocolate Gravy which are difficult to find anywhere. He was so happy to order them but when he tried them he hated it :/. He was not a fan and i was not a fan of the pancakes. They looked good I loved the stamp but it was no good. At this place you will have to order your own food up front not seated. You then have to serve your own drink and then on top of all that when you food is ready they put it on a tray where you have to pick it up from a window and take the tray back for them to reuse it. Regret tipping them since I did all the service anyway. The place itself was cramped, it's cute looking and family friendly. Other than that they really had nothing going for them. Not to mention to add a slice of bacon was 3.50 each! So I did not want to order anything else because of how expensive it was. read more

First, let me say that the food was very tasty and a nice variety. We walked in there was no signage about seating ordering, etc. I asked the gentleman behind the counter and he seemed offended because I was unaware of their policies. I came back to order and I slowly ordered something for my wife and then something for me. After waiting, I went up and asked where was our food. The gentleman then informed me that on Sunday, they don't normally serve items other than breakfast, so after I ordered why didn't he just say by the way I'm sorry I didn't mention we don't do anything, but breakfast is on Sunday. He gave us a lame answer and made us both feel uncomfortable because he did not inform us of anything! Put some signs up stating order here ! Put a sign up that says breakfast only on Sunday! My group of 5 had an amazing experience for breakfast on a Saturday. Everyone is so friendly and the decor is so fun! Our food was amazing. I had the blue plate special frittata with local vegetables and it's the best I've ever had. My friends also ordered buffalo mushrooms, breakfast biscuit sandwich with a side of fries (best fresh fries she ever had, seasoned perfectly), loaded fried potatoes with sausage gravy, and Hercules fries with just the perfect amount of kick. They gave us a hot sauce recommendation that was out of this world. I also want to note they had a lot of thoughtfully curated vegetarian options! I cannot recommend this place enough! read more
