My daughters and I dined there for supper on July 23, 2025, then we ordered breakfast to go the following morning. Our order: 1 Jack Daniels & Coke = $6.00 2 Kids Juice = $3.98 2 Mac & Cheese = $13.98 (my daughter had two servings) 1 Kids Grilled Cheese = $5.79 1 Patty Melt = $9.99 1 Slice Possum Pie = $3.99 Service was on the slow side both times. The food is reminiscent of Cracker Barrel. The ambiance is similar too, although, Mae's has many old photos of historic Eureka Springs which I adored. We all shared a piece of possum pie which is a famous layered dessert of Arkansas. I'd never had it, but was dying to try it. Highly recommend. The sweet two little old ladies beside us asked about it... There is a small gift shop with local items on display such as jewelry, books, and several foods in jars. Not sure if I'm a raving fan just yet, but it's a good go-to restaurant if everything else is crowded. They do close a bit early, though. My wife and I stayed at the Best Western so Myrtie Mae's was a convenient spot for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is what you'd expect from a classic American diner. I had bacon eggs and hashbrowns with a pancake à la cart. It was good and the service was fast. We came back for dinner, mostly because we wanted some pie. While everything on the menu sounded good we only shared an appetizer of potato skins to save room for Opossum Pie. The pie was soo good. We also ended up getting a cinnamon roll to go, and we ate that in the morning before hitting the road. read more

Been dining at this classic restaurant for many years. Recently returned to Eureka Springs for a quick visit; and after paying our respects to the awesome Crescent Hotel Myrtie's was a must. Things hadn't changed a bit in 6 years - thank God. Classic country cooking done right, bountiful salad bar, lots of good eatin! Was like coming home. Thanks, Mytie Mae's for staying true. Basic breakfast menu. The food was good. I ordered the Myrtie Mae's omelette with hash browns, and biscuits and gravy. The hash browns were a little overcooked for me but still not bad. The service was okay. Our waitress was trying to get everyone taken care but was going to fast and about spilled coffee on us. All in all I still recommend giving this place a try. They had a salad bar that was being set up for lunch, while we were eating, and it looked fantastic! read more

Food: limited selection for what is considered "healthy options" but what they have is fantastic. Service: FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!! Unlike chain restaurants there was hardly any wait to order or to receive your order. It was also hot and not crusty dry from heat lamps. Stopped at the restaurant when driving through Eureka Springs area. Was very clean. Comfortable atmosphere, not too loud, though I bet when it gets busy it's hoppin'. Got the turkey club, split onion rings and fries with hubby, and salad bar. Sandwich was exactly how I'd make it at home, with crispy bacon and Swiss. Beer battered onion rings were fabulous. Fries were crispy goodness. Nice little salad bar with good options. Service was excellent. Left totally full and wishing we lived closer. read more

We had lunch here today and it was very good. Our table had pancakes, country fried steak with mashed potatoes, fried chicken with fries, and fried chicken sandwich with fries. Oh, and 1 salad bar. It was all delicious. The restaurant was very clean, the waitress was very friendly and attentive and our food came out quick. The salad bar was very fresh and lots to choose from! Yum! read more

This truly is a wonderful find in Euerka Springs! It is slightly hard to find as it is off the main rd and inside of the Best Western. But what a cute and cozy restaurant open to the public! They have a very nice, stocked, and clean salad and soup bar with lots of fresh veggies, fruit, muffins, dressings, and 2 hot soups. It is $10 for adults, $8 for kids, or add to an entree for around $3. My family loved the salad and soup! I got the liver and onions, which our server said was one of their most requested entrees, and it was delicious. My husband got their famous fried chicken, and it was perfectly fried and seasoned. Their mashed potatoes and gravy were homemade and delicious, too. We ended our meal with a slice of Arkansas Possum Pie, which was the best version I have ever had! It has pecans, cream cheese, and chocolate mousse and was $4 a slice. Our server, who I believe was named Arthur, was amazing. He was waiting on numerous tables, but he made time for everyone and never seemed rushed. We never waited for refills, and he cleared plates continuously. He was both polite and professional. Prices were very affordable, especially for the area. They even have a cute gift shop next to the restaurant. Bathrooms were downstairs, and you have to go down a very steep stairwell, so be advised. There were a lot of flies, which seems to be a big problem everywhere. I wish they had some discreet bug zappers by the door to prevent the flies on the salad bar. Overall, a wonderful casual restaurant for the whole family! We will be back soon! read more

Went for breakfast. Food was typical diner food. Nothing extraordinary. We were told biscuits and gravy very good. I liked the non-biscuity biscuit but gravy was not my fave. Little too think and not enough sausage. What I really liked were the little gifts everywhere and snacks. Bought a bunch to bring home for friends and fam. The staff was also really nice. There POS system seemed to slow things down, but we weren't in a rush. read more

My sister n I stayed at your Best Western hotel in Eureka Springs for the past 3 days n upto this point the service was wonderful. Tuesday evening we had dinner at your restaurant, Myrtie Maes. We ordered our dinners with a baked potato. When our waitress (Joy)brought our dinner out mine was fine, but my sisters bake potatoe was plain n dry with nothing on it..I asked the waitress why my sisters baked potato had nothing on it. She responded because she didnt ask for anything on it. I said oh I didn't know we had to ask for what came on the potatoe, if anything. I asked for a roll with my dinner, which is very common and she responded we usually save those for senior citizens. I said so I can't order a roll. She didnt respond, she just wrote it down n walked away.. My sister and I drove all the way from Texas to visit Eureka Springs, it was an 9 hour drive. We had been site seeing all day and came back to our hotel and wanted to have a nice dinner. While eating my dinner I got choked on a piece of chicken fried steak and it took me about 10 minutes to get it to go down. She came to our table and started taking our plates without saying a word. She never acknowledged that I was choking. My sister said please do not take our plates we have to go boxes here, because we are taking our food with us, but my sister got choked. She did NOT even acknowledge that I was choking. She simply walked away. This type of treatment in a well known establishment or any establishment is unacceptable. However after choking I was feeling anxious n needed to leave. My sister paid our ticket and we left..After, I began to feel better I decided to make you all aware of how we had been treated today in your restaurant. June 10th, 2025 at approximately 445pm. This place has been amazing all weekend! We had a minor hostess MIA the first night... but this girl works non stop! I had chicken fried steak, it was amazing! Steak and eggs the next morning, it was amazing! Finally had my phone to take a picture and this was a fabulous omelette, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy! All are amazing! Place is clean, a little dated but interesting pictures dated around the 30's of Eureka Springs. Husband's new favorite place to eat now! Coffee was good too! Visited eureka springs for the first time. Didn't feel like battling the crowds of the Main Street. Service was kinda slow. But once we got someone, she couldn't have been more accommodating!! I got the 2 piece fried chicken. When it was delivered, she said the cooks said it's the biggest chicken breast they've ever fried up, at 19.2oz! I said, well this is a challenge then! Accepted! Lol! Super flavorful, super juicy! I did finish it, but didn't have room for the wing or Fries. But I had a few fries. Outstanding. Boyfriend had the catfish. Not good. No flavor. And not fresh, definitely from frozen. Friend had the salad buffet (5 stars!!!). The onion rings (2 thumbs up), and the Texas fries (just ok). Will return for that fried chicken!!! read more

We walked in with low expectations. Seeing that the restaurant was inside of a hotel. We had to wait 25 minutes for a table. A little while but I understand it. We got seated and waited for an additional 15 minutes for our waiter to even acknowledge us. Thankfully he was amazing and really nice. I ordered the Myrties Eureka omelet with wheat toast. The omelet was excellent and so was the toast. If you are in a hurry I would not recommend this place. But if you are just trying to get out of the house and have a slow paced meal that is good then this is the place to go. read more

Went in for lunch and witnessed an elderly (Golden Girl looking) hostess be totally rude to a beautiful family. The hostess made a smart-alic remark and never bothered to aplogize to the wonderful mother whose darling children were with her. Some people have a sense of entitlement and ego they and think can't be touched. This hostess was dispicable! Plain and simple sure as shootin'. What's even more pathetic is that the hostess didn't even care. I hope Management reads this because I know the Manager on duty was aware of what happened. If you permit it you promote it. Don't permit this hostess to act and behave like this or you may have a larger problem. To the young family that had to endure this. Thank you for being mature. Had a late breakfast mid-week. Got seated right away, coffee, tea came very quickly. Nice breakfast menu; I tried the Myrtie omelet with my choice of add-ins (Swiss cheese, broccoli, mushrooms) + hash browns + biscuits + gravy; hubs has 2 eggs + bacon + hash browns + toast All came quickly and hot. Even had real butter and orange marmalade on the table. Nice dining room atmosphere.
