On Monday, 11/25, I started calling the office and leaving voice messages requesting my results. My calls were never returned until 12/9. Unfortunatel, I was told I had a squamous cell cancer that needed to be removed. My appointment for excision was scheduled and performed on 12/16. I was also given an appointment for removal of stitches for 1/6/25. They would also let me know on the 6th how my margins looked so I would know if they got it all. Stitches were removed on 1/6. Unfortunately, they had not yet received results from lab. (Three weeks after surgery.) Again, I started calling the office on 1/9 to find out my results. Again, I had to leave voicemails at the office on multiple days - with no return call. Finally ... I received a call back from Danielle on 1/16. She called the Pathology lab herself and found out that my margins were clear. Thank goodness. My "far from glowing" review is due to lack of communication from this office. Multiple unanswered voice messages are unacceptable. Especially when I'm requesting results regarding skin cancer. It was mentioned to me that my calls were not returned expeditiously due to everything happening during the holidays. I might accept that excuse if I was just checking on my Vitamin D levels.

I'm not sure why they started frequently contacting me after my bad experience 5 years ago. I decided to look up my review and noticed it was gone from their Yelp site. I didn't realize companies could remove bad reviews. So I copied and pasted my review from 5 years ago. This company is more concerned about the money than the patient. Was referred to Dr. Pena for Mohs surgery and only went there because they told me that had availability in September. My records and pictures were sent and they were the only Mohs surgery place that needed me to come in and redo my appointment that I had with the referring physician. After waiting 50 minutes in the waiting room, the nurse called me back, took a picture (she acknowledged that they had received the picture from my referring doctor but said that way they wouldn't have to pull up the file) and asked if I was told about the procedure. I responded yes. She then checked and informed me that the earliest appointment was in December. Large bill for a 5 minute appointment considering they had all my information and I had to wait 50 minutes to even be seen.

Went in for filler in my chin. I sent pictures to her cell prior to my appointment. She stated that yes she could take care of it with filler. When I got there I showed her my concerns around my chin and lip. She proceeds to do filler. I then decided that I wanted to plump up my lips a lil as well. The filler was $600 and the lil bit of lip filler (which was a touch up syringe was $395). So after leaving I was super sore super swollen. Out of all the years I've been doing fillers this was by far the worst soreness and swollen I've ever been. But i just was like ok it's just cause I've not done it in awhile. So after a week I did not notice no difference what so ever. I had it done May 26th (Tuesday). On June 1st (Monday) almost exactly 7 days, I messaged her cell number showing pictures from day of before filler and after on June 1. I showed her there was NO difference. I didn't hear anything back, and was later told she dropped her phone in the lake. On June 10 I texted her yet again explaining I've contacted the office and left messages as they were busy with others but I have not received any correspondence back. At that time she texted back asking me when my follow up appt was. I explained I was never given one. Within 10 mins I had her nurse calling apologizing and setting me up a appt. So today I go in June 18th 2020 so that she could see there was no difference. So she came in took 3 pictures and then shows me ONLY 1 of my after pictures from May 26 beside ONLY 1 present picture taken today June 18th. THE PRESENT PICTURE TODAY WAS TOTALLY DIFFERENT you could tell it had been softened, brightness was different it was no where like the other picture. I was put in a CONSIDERABLY larger room with WAY MORE LIGHTS. She said that she can see how much softer it looks. As I'm not rich but I'm not poor either but I work hard as hell for my money and when I spend it I expect to see what I paid for. So I held my tongue as at this point I'm extremely upset. She said well I'm sorry you don't see it. She then went to door, and said " So you don't see no softness at all?" I stated no and she said well I'm sorry. There was no have a good day, would you like to speak with someone else NOTHING! She took absolutely ZERO accountability, nor the fact she thought I'd fall for that EDITED present picture she took. This was a horrible experience and If your looking for a GOOD nurse to do your fillers and Botox- ID DEFINITELY SHOP MORE AND NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!! You can see TRUE pictures NON EDITED below. NOW PLEASE NOTE IM VERY AWARE OF MY SUN DAMAGE, MY WRINKLES, MY AGING. But I also know when someone is lying cause pictures don't lie ESPECIALLY ones that aren't altered or taken in room with totally different lighting. This place is a TRUE rip off! Don't waste your money or time!!! My thing is ACCEPT ACCOUNTABILITY FOR WHAT YOU DIDNT DO, WHAT IS OBVIOUS AND NOT FILTER OR SOFTEN A PICTURE TO MAKE ME BELIEVE SOMETHING THAT I KNOW AND HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE IT!!!

Let me start by saying that…read morehe seems like a pleasant enough person -- but in my opinion, he has no business practicing medicine. I decided to visit him after reading numerous positive reviews online. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. It left me depressed, distressed, and possibly scarred for life. To his credit, Dr. Mishra does communicate with patients via text message -- a level of accessibility I've rarely seen from a doctor. While that might seem like good customer service, it means little when the quality of care is dangerously subpar. I went to him for a simple inflamed pimple on my neck. I left with a hole in my skin that may never heal -- the direct result of his incompetence. He injected my neck with an excessive dose of Kenalog, a steroid used to reduce inflammation. Over a month later, I'm left with a red indentation in my neck caused by his heavy-handed approach. Another dermatologist has since confirmed that the damage was caused by an overdosage of Kenalog. To make matters worse, Dr. Mishra tried to gaslight me -- insisting that the visible dent wasn't from his injection, even though he administered 2.5 mg of Kenalog. That's roughly two and a half times the recommended dosage for the neck area, according to multiple medical sources. Visit him at your own peril.
