I stayed one night in August 2026. Booked the hotel online, got a rate of $98 standard king size bed. I had made some requests online for the room and they were all noted when I checked. Very pleasant young woman checked me in. It went smoothly and all my requests were accommodated. A/C in the room worked well. Room was very clean and comfortable. It looks like they renovated rooms not too long ago as everything was in good condition and carpet looked fresh. Bathroom was very nice and the towels were thick and fluffy. There was a small coffee maker in the room. There was also a small refrigerator. Not a lot of technology though. Room did have ports for usb cords. I slept well and it was quiet for a Sunday night. They have a few restaurants that have different hours and menus and a small place to buy beverages and snacks. This is inside a large casino in Maricopa. There are a lot of amenities here so a good choice for a stay I would definitely recommend this hotel! read more

This was just a 3 star casino. It is a decent place to play, but it definitely lacks that grand, high-end casino vibe you get at bigger resorts. On the plus side, the lady working in the gift shop was super nice and friendly when I stopped in. But as for the gaming itself did not wow me. Checked in kinda late around 9pm and it was an easy check in. The room was clean. But the sink water had almost no pressure, so water kept making a mess on the sink when washing our hands. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I was bummed we didn't get to take advantage of the arcades or bowling because they closed at 9pm on Wednesdays. I wanted to extend my stay, but the pricing for an additional night wasn't something I felt smart paying. I guess they were really close to fully booked, so we opted out and went somewhere else which I'm grateful for because I normally bring my pillow everywhere with me but we flew so I didn't have luggage space. I would definitely stay here again and next time book more than one night to be able to check out the pooentertainment center and gamble more. read more

Well Caesars Sportsbook was pretty bad which is unfortunate because we live close enough to go there all the time. We had an extremely underwhelming experience from our server Nita who got our order wrong (fried instead of grilled chicken), and then when we said the new ones that they brought us (after 30 minutes) looked small she said "well that's because they don't have the breading". Ah ok gus, that is true, same way I don't think a grilled chicken breast should resemble a slice of cheese if we're getting technical, 'Nites. She also never said sorry for getting our order wrong or did anything in the way of problem solving. The wings I got were undercooked with zero flavor. They have a lot of work to do all over the place, front of house and in the kitchen to reach minimum dining standards. Attached is a picture of the sliders I had to take home for evidence. First time at Ak Chin Hotel Casino. Stayed two nights for business. Arrived about 3:00 and was advised about a $35 early check in fee and opted to wait 45 minutes in the lobby. Looked over the Yelp reviews as I was waiting and surprised at the low rating for the hotel casino. Hmmm, wondering if I should have stayed elsewhere? Got registered, found the elevator after wandering around and got to my room. It was clean, comfortable king size bed. Free lower speed internet. Room had all the amenities. No house keeping service when got back to the room. Didn't have any meals at Hotel. Did not gamble in casino. Room rate was reasonable. Space met my needs. Left a tip for housekeeping. I know Sports Bar just a few months old, but it's taken awhile to get from poor to lower end of good. They added free chips and salsa to service (I suspect since complaints on time), but there's no mild just semi hot salsa. The wings were undercooked and flavorless. The smash burger was just ok, since pretty greasy even after I opted out for butter added to it. The baked potato dry overcooked and just average at best. The wait times are still horrible. Half empty when we came and still took 1.5 hrs to order and pay. Been here half dozen times and still hoping for improvement. Once after an hour and I asked waitress to check on our order, she shocked us by saying, you can leave if taking too long! Ugh read more

You cannot bring your RV and stay in it overnight, even if you spend the entire weekend there eating, drinking and gambling. You must have a room reservation. We live in Maricopa, AZ and Harrah's Ak-Chin was a regular stop, especially on Fridays for their awesome seafood buffet. We often had out of town guests visiting us and Ak-Chin was an awesome time. After the COVID debacle the buffet never re-opened. It's such a disappointment that we rarely go to Ak-Chin anymore. We have many Maricopa friends that feel the same way. First off, I am not a gambler and we were traveling through from Lake Havasu to Tucson and decided to take our time, hang out a bit in Maricopa, explore and enjoy our drive. So being not a gambler, we used Harrah's as an overnight stay kinda place. My friend who was with me played a bit and he came out ahead, a few hundreds in fact, so that pleased him. As for me, the amenities, the restaurants, the pool and grounds were plenty pleasant and I enjoyed them. The rooms are clean, bed linens and pillowcases felt new, everything had a sense of cleanliness. Our room faced the pool and I enjoyed that, so if I had a recommendation, opt for a poolside view. This place was exactly what we need in an overnight stay. The property is beautiful and clean. The customer service was on point and the whole staff serves kudos. Not one person let us walk by without saying hello or have a good night or have a safe trip or something nice. Our room was 1260 and it was comfortable and beautiful. The pool area is huge and really nice. Water was perfect. I didn't win any money but my room was free so I was all around happy. I used to love this place. Today is my birthday. I was scheduled to stay two nights. Yes, my room was free. When I got there, the escalator and elevator was broken, a sink was broken in one of the bathrooms for all to share. They got rid of all the fun slots and what they have are tight. My girlfriend had a different room. The sheets were so rough and itchy she stripped the bed so she could sleep. The grossest part is when I went to take a shower this morning, the floor was so slimy that I put a towel down and took a quick shower. Checked out. Yesterday, I went to see Theresa Caputo at this hotel. The check in was nice but I wasn't happy that they put me in Cactus Tower (the cheap side even though I paid $350 for my room). I found out later that the Ak-Chin Tower had bigger rooms. The next problem is they made us wait outside in the cold to enter the Event room and only had two people scanning tickets! 30 minutes later I'm finally the theater and I see regular chairs set up extremely close together! I thought it would be like seating for a concert. Every time someone came past me they stepped on my feet or almost fell on top of me! We went into 3 restaurants...none of them would seat us in a booth, because there were only 2 of us. Customers obviously are not important.

This was my first time at this casino. Very nice inside and out I must say. I was here to see my favorite band, Air Supply in concert and also got to attend their soundcheck, Q and A session with Graham and Russell, and their meet and greet afterward. This was also Air Supply's first time at this venue. This venue is big and beautiful and the sound was AMAZEBALLS!!! Of course, I am biased since I love Air Supply so much, but the concert was excellent either way! Now, the security guys who greeted me upon entrance were awesome and very helpful. The ones inside the venue, however, could use some lessons in manners and respect (hence my 4 stars instead of 5). They were rude, snarky, and abrasive to people, although I was glad they took care of the obnoxiously drunk slutty dressed women who were on the left side of the stage trying to hit on Russell and take obnoxious selfies during the concert and also the rude person a few rows behind me who was nonstop using their camera flash and blinding Russell as he was singing. Crowd control was ridiculous at the stage, however. I got squished and slammed into very roughly by fans and came away banged up and bruised pretty good and there's NO need for that whatsoever! Sidenote: Had dinner at the Copper Cactus Grill before the concert. Good eats and friendly service! Decent prices also. read more

I have been enjoying Harrah's for almost 30 years for staycations and group weekends. Over the last 3 years it's changed. The games don't pay as much and if you don't spend as much as their whales you get treated much differently. But I have just become accustomed to it and still enjoy hanging with my friends and the amazing staff. Until I had a reservation for Christmas that they just cancelled no warning, no I'm sorry, absolutely nothing. I made another reservation but it's not the rooms I enjoy so why even do it? It was a fun relaxing thing for me after the holiday was over that I've done for years. Since they don't care I guess I don't either. Don't let them fool you by saying they have one of the best rewards programs out there, they don't anymore. I went to celebrate a friend's birthday this weekend. I got to the hotel about 30 minutes before the 4 o'clock check in time. I was told that I needed to pay $15 for early check in for 30 minutes. I just wanted to get to my room and sit down for a minute before the party started so I paid it. Another issue is the air conditioner in the room was extremely loud. This is why I usually stay at MGM properties because I never get charged for early check in for 30 minutes. I never seem to have a good experience at Caesar's properties. For the price I paid for a pool front room, only two nights. And let's also include the additional $150 undisclosed hidden fees!! Our room had huge spiders, aggressive leak out the shower. We had to keep about 3/4 towels on the floor the whole weekend. Incredibly large bird poop covering our patio. For a casino and a huge swim up pool bar, I feel there was three times the amount of very young children out numbering the adults. Mind you the tiny drinks are $15 each! The steakhouse was decent but pricey way to high for "decent". Lastly, when I called the hotel later , questioning all the hidden fees , I initiated the call calmly, I'm in customer service and know not to scream at someone to get answers and this woman who answered, literally would not let me speak, she just repeated herself that the charges are valid but refused to discuss them with me, she started yelling!!! Tonight I received probably the worst customer service i've ever experienced in my entire life. To be a platinum member, and to have spent thousands of dollars in the caesar's entertainment restaurant and casinos the treatment my husband and I received was completely unacceptable. At the time of booking my reservation, I put in the comments that I would be needing a microwave for medical needs. On the same day of my of my check in date. I called the hotel to confirm once again. That they would be providing a microwave as I needed it for medication purposes. I was told that I would get a microwave. Upon arriving at the hotel and checking in hours later, the lady at the front desk Valerie ( if that's her real name) told me that that there were no microwaves on the premises and that I would not be given one. After I explained that I was told one would be provided and confirm that in the notes it said that I would be provided a microwave. She proceeded to tell me that I still was not going to get one and that. I should have called the front desk directly.And they would have told me that there's no microwaves. I tried to explain to her that the microwave was for my medication, but she could care less. She was very rude, showed absolutely no empathy or any skills to attempt solve the problem.She just continued with an attitude. I explained to her due to my medical condition. I needed to have a microwave. She could care less and just continue to roll her eyes and say there was nothing she could do. No apologies or empathy was shown or given. At that point I asked to speak to a supervisor. When the supervisor whose name I was told was Koda came out. She looked like she had just woken up and she too had an attitude also showed no sympathy. No apology for me and no resolution. She proceeded to tell me that it was my fault for not calling the desk hotel. I again explained to her that I called the number that was given to me on my reservation. I was pretty upset at this point and tired from the long drive. So I went ahead and checked in and was given the oldest most raggedy room in the hotel. I have stayed at this hotel several times in nice newer rooms but this room that she put me in was absolutely horrible. The bathtub was dirty.There were cracks in the walls. I truly feel that she gave us this room on purpose. Because there is no way being that it was a monday that this was the only room available. With that being said, as much as I wanted to gamble at the casino, as I always do spending thousands of dollars, I opted to not give them another dime of my money today. I'm so disappointed. I've been a member of Caesar's entertainment for many, many years and have spent thousands probably tens of thousands here. I really hope a manager see's this review and offers some customer service classes and training to their employees, specifically Kona and Valerie. read more

Came to do a staycation with a friend and had a great time up until we were singled out by security! We were playing blackjack having a blast and I get pulled aside by security and was told I was "clearly intoxicated and slurring my words" (I wasn't!!) and was told I needed to leave the casino floor immediately. Between me and my friend we had 3 drinks in the span of 4.5 hours so less than 1 drink an hour! I kept trying to tell them neither of us were drunk and I was very coherent they literally embarrassed us and made me feel like a criminal needless to say we will never be back! They had security follow us the whole way out and not only that they started to laugh when I asked them to stop following us we were trying to leave and we didn't need to be embarrassed any further. They incorrectly moved all of my things out of my hotel room without my permission, I was supposed to be there one more night. Whats even worse than the scheduling mishap, they even shoved things into my suitcase and the rest that wouldn't fit, they just threw into a plastic bag. (I later found that an item was missing) Once again, they never reached out to me or my company (who the reservation was under). The card on file was good, and they had no right to move my things. I was supposed to be there another night, and they apologized at the desk but there was nothing done to make up for what they did. Just a "sorry". Several very illegal mistakes were made by Harrah's Ak- Chin, and they showed very little care or remorse for these decisions. Also, in the second room they put me in after their mishap, the AC blows directly onto the thermostat, only cooling that side of the room while the leaving the rest of the room, including where the bed is extremely hot. They also have a thermostat block so the degrees wont go below a certain point to make up for this. If you are forced to stay here, please do your diligence in finding out if your room will be cool at night as you might be sleeping hot. read more

Second time staying at Harrah's Ak-Chin resort. We had a beautiful king high rise deluxe room. A small bathroom near the entry with a large bathroom connected to the bedroom. Premium amenities, stand up shower with rainfall shower head, separate bath, dual sinks. The separate living room was also nice with a refrigerator and safe. Our only recommendation would be to add a small microwave. The staff were nice and helped with every need. We ate at the Agave restaurant which was just ok. Nothing special on the menu. Basic sandwiches, salads, etc. The pool was well maintained and an excellent way to spend a morning in the desert sun. Nice tall umbrellas to break the direct sun. Swim up bar was also available. The casino has decent slot machines, table games, etc. Bingo is also available upstairs. The have a great entertainment center connected to the casino. Great for kids with bowling, laser tag, movie theater, and more. Very affordable too. The only downside is the location in relation to Phoenix. It's 30-40 minutes to get to anywhere around the greater Phoenix area. Chase field is forty minutes, shopping 30-40 minutes, other casinos also dot the area. Overall , this is a nice resort but could be closer to the city and more restaurants would be an improvement. read more

This past weekend, my wife and I stayed overnight at the hotel and spent the day at the pool. We were visiting my parents, who were staying for the week and had reserved a cabana for us so we could enjoy the day with our one-year-old son--his first time at a pool. While at the pool, a man arrived alone and began swimming and lingering near our group as well as other guests we did not know. During his time there, he repeatedly brushed up against the three women in our group. Initially, we assumed these incidents were accidental, but when it continued in open areas where there was clearly enough space to avoid contact, we politely asked him to respect our space and refrain from making physical contact. Instead of honoring this request, he became confrontational and threatened both me and my father. Concerned for our safety--and wanting to avoid escalating the situation further--we chose not to engage and instead requested security. Unfortunately, it took nearly 20 minutes for security to arrive and take my statement. I later learned that other guests had already made complaints about this same individual, which had apparently been ignored. I explained that he was making the women in our group feel unsafe and had been behaving inappropriately. Two security guards eventually spoke with him, but they appeared visibly intimidated and simply told us they had asked him to keep his distance. Their only solution was for us to "just avoid each other," which left us feeling unprotected and frustrated. We decided to leave the pool early due to the unsafe environment and our disappointment with how the situation was handled. I then went to the front desk to speak with the hotel manager but was told I could only speak to the security supervisor. That supervisor echoed the same stance: that it was my word against his--despite the fact that there were five people in our group and other unrelated guests who had also expressed concern. When I asked again to speak with the hotel manager, I was informed they were unavailable for the rest of the day and was offered a phone number to follow up at a later time. Ultimately, no action was taken that day. The man who had made repeated physical contact with women in the pool was allowed to remain and continue drinking and harassing others. This situation revealed a serious failure on the hotel's part to provide a safe environment or to take guest safety seriously--especially the well-being of female guests. I left feeling deeply disappointed with Harrah's and thoroughly dissatisfied with the way this matter was handled. read more
