They have the bars open but the worst part was there was no place to pick up a quick bite. There was a deli inside but it was closed I asked the security guard if there is any other restaurants & he said they have a vending machine that has food. That's not what we wanted. Do not go here. The security guards harass the good and platinum players for no reason other than jealousy. You could get arrested or thrown out for no reason. I wasn't but I've seen others. This is one of the best casinos for Florida standards. They always have good action most of the dealers are really good. They have great high hands snd it always pays out. They also have unlimited water snd soft drinks. I think this place is only gonna get better with time. read more

The Pomp is coming along nicely since it has transformed from the Isle. New games, old games, nice smelling air being pumped in, well lit in certain areas, non smoking inside and smoking outside on the patio (which has a bar and sometimes live music), a few food options which I haven't tried since the change over. They have electronic roulette, blackjack (6/5, $10 min, hit on soft 17), and baccarat ($10 min). Went on a Saturday night and it was busy but not crazy or crowded. The music was a good mix but kinda loud and made it almost impossible to actually hear the machines. Parking was plenty in the free parking garage. They have big plans in the works (hotel, live entertainment, dining area, nightlife, and social venues) so it should be interesting to see how this progresses. read more

If you have a little gambling bug like I do and don't want to deal with all the madness at The other busy casinos this is the spot. came on a Sunday night and it wasn't very crowded at all. It was great cause i was able to play all the slots I wanted with out waiting for someone to get up. This place was cool wasn't to busy so I was able to sit on a machine I liked but didn't win anything. It's not the biggest casino. Plenty of parking in the garage and if you want to valet you can. Not much lively happiness happening for a Saturday night compare to other casinos I have been in . It's definitely a place to just gamble and pass the time. We used to come here all the time when it was the isle casino and harness track. It was an inexpensive amusement and they had several great restaurants. The Italian restaurant we loved and the buffet have been gone for some time. Myron's Deli is still there as is Faradays steak restaurant. We met some friends at the deli for dinner. The food was still good although prices have gone a lot higher (as is true all over). The casino has added space and changed most of the slot machines. There's a new parking garage from which you can go right into the casino. No need to walk through an uncovered lot in the rain. The entrance to the self parking garage is in the back. They still have valet parking out front. On the main floor, everything was bright and colorful. And noisy. We walked around checking out some of the new to us areas and machines. Found a couple old favorites and played a few dollars in the slots. From when we first came here right after the transition to Harrah's , it's a bit better. Slot minimum plays aren't as high on all machines and odds/payouts seem slightly better than they first were. Honestly, we'd said we wouldn't come back and we hadn't in quite some time. Now that we've been again and saw that there were some positive changes, we'd return. read more

This is a great casino for when you just want a little fun. There is ample parking plus valet if desired. You can play indoors which is smoke free or go outdoors if you'd like to smoke. The casino is busy but not usually "crowded." Many machines have wonderful "features" which are fun to play. The variety of games is good and the number of each machine is good so you rarely have to wait to play something you want. This is a much larger casino than the pictures show. They have a full poker room on the second floor. The first floor has a few table games but no craps, but they have craps machines you can play. There is plenty of parking and it's right next to a top golf. We didn't try any of the restaurants. Hurrah's Pompano Beach is smoke free and boy it makes a difference. One of the first things I noticed when I walked in the door is how good it smells. It's a clean modern casino that wasn't crowded or noisy. It felt like I could spend an entire afternoon without feeling too overwhelmed. The staff was friendly and helped me look for my favorite slot machine when I asked about it. There's also a great looking cafe called Myron's if you in the mood for food. Unfortunately, I ate right beforehand, so I didn't get a chance to try it. The menu looked great though! The old Isle casino, previously the Pompano Beach race track, is now a branch of Harrahs. It's just so so as a casino and the service is also just OK. It's now being called The Pomp which seems to be a bigger development around it, with most not yet built. Harrahs and a Top Golf across the driveway are the only attractions, along with a parking garage. Here's hoping all those empty driveways get some other buildings fast. read more

No live black jack tables is disappointing and it's pretty intimate, I had expected maybe a little bit more to do inside. This casino has great customer service staff. The filtration system is pumping clean air and it is in an up and coming location. I think they have the right momentum and could become even better. The former Isle Casino was re-branded after Eldorado Resort Inc. purchased Caesars Entertainment Corp. for just over $17 billion in 2020. The property has been receiving continuous upgrades and is still under expansion and remodeling. The old center bar was completely demolished, which was a GIANT waste of space and a more accommodating central circular bar was constructed & equipped with all-in-one video poker/keno/slot machines. A new parking garage has been built too. The poker room on the second floor is very good and sees a lot of action, but doesn't compare to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's poker room in Hollywood. The ceilings of the main casino area are probably at least 30 feet high, which gives the casino an open atmosphere and it's no smoking! That's a huge plus. However, when it comes to gambling, it's not a fun atmosphere like casinos in Vegas or other tourist destinations. There is an older crowd here and that's due to the casino's physical location. Their video poker odds/payouts are considerably less on several of the games when comparing to all other casinos everywhere. We'll have to see how it ends up, but there's so many casinos in the area already, this one will probably keep catering to the low roller local gambler. Also, there are so many people who are gambling who look like they shouldn't be and the cars in the parking lot reflect that...bald tires, but money to gamble! I used to be in the car business, so I always notice tires on people's cars, whether I stop by here or park in the garage at Hard Rock. I prefer to do my gambling in Vegas at places like Wynn, Encore, Palazzo and The Cosmopolitan mainly due to the much nicer crowd, accommodations and entertainment. The other place I prefer to gamble is when I take cruises on Celebrity or Virgin Voyages. I'd rather be surrounded by people on vacation having fun than in a local casino watching so many people gamble who shouldn't be. We'll see what happens once the entire property is completely finished! read more

100% stay away from Harrahs. I won a Jackpot of over 10K on 03/24 I had lost my ID somewhere so they did not pay jackpot until I returned with Id. I live 1600 miles from the casino had to return back home to get a new ID which took 4 weeks then I had to return to Florida to claim my jackpot. when I tried to claim they said I was over the time limit they would not payout. I understand they have rules but they could have payed out if they wanted too. I then asked if they could give an insensitive like a free play or lunch or even a higher tier membership. They flat out said no,'"we are not giving you anything " that's what was told to me. My advice Avoid the Harrahs Pompano and all the other Harrahs properties, I know I will and will tell all of my friends , family and associates to avoid it too. Greed is all there about, not the guest experience at all. I was OK with losing Jackpot money I am not Ok with the "We will give you nothing " answer I received. read more

The level of entertainment for a moderate to high roller is nil. The machines are definitely too tight. Environment is great. It is not smoking. Food has been great. This place is clean and they don't smoke inside but there's a smoking area outside. Playing poker they have some of the best dealers namely Chris, chelsea, Tony and Martin. Substandard and unprofessional treatment from the bartender, Trisha. Harrah's Casino should investigate her for racial discrimination against customers. Trisha without reason served my wife's drink in a plastic cup while she served others who ordered a similar drink in a glass. When we requested a glass and asked why did she serve it in a plastic cup she condescendingly replied oh you want a glass, here you go as she put a glass in front of us. As if we had to pour the drink ourselves. In addition, Trisha was asked to have a manager respond which she lied about doing. We waited for a manager with no response. After waiting so long we asked a waitress for a manager who immediately called and was kind enough to let us know the managers name is Victoria. We explained the situation and Victoria immediately acknowledged the difference in the drinks that other customers had as opposed to the plastic cup drink Trisha served my wife. We asked Victoria when was she alerted to come to the bar and she replied just now. Confirming Trisha never called for a manager thinking we would just get frustrated and leave. Wrong, and a copy of this complaint will be forwarded to the Better Business Bureau. read more

When I first moved to Florida, the Isle casino was the place to play poker. Great atmosphere and exceptional service. It went downhill fast when the rounds of layoffs happened, service went downhill, and the players all left for other poker rooms. I'd love to see the new Harrah's turn all that around and make this a great poker room again. They are obviously trying with some renovations but the fact I'm sitting here playing and been waiting 40 minutes for a cocktail waitress to come by (asked staff 4 times now) does not help change my mind.
