For sale, inside the little shop.

I'm not a local, so my review will be biased. Plus, I cannot compare other places that sell leis or how much they cost. So feel free to disregard my review if you'd like. It was my wife's birthday, so my cousin wanted to quickly pick up a haku (or head lei) meant for special occasions. Harriet's stand was located outside of the HNL airport, but away from the heavy traffic arrival/departure lanes. I believe we drove towards the Car Rental Returns, made a big U, and recall seeing a big "Lei Stands" signs to the right. I thought, "Wow, how convenient!" Short "10-minute parking" up front, as we took the first parking spot. We weren't planning to loiter, so understandable. The first thing I noticed was the table full of leis while being greeted with a wave from two ladies behind it. We looked around and noticed fresh colorful leis outside, and some preserved in a refrigerator. Their leis range from simple beads that were $5 to $10, to more expensive ones at about $20 to $30. Again, I'm not an expert on this, so i can't compare. However, I did take a pic of the staff in the back, creating various leis, which was really cool. No issues with service, as the lady that showed us the hakus was very helpful. We pretty much grabbed what we came for and paid. The cousin was satisfied, wife was super happy, and we were on our way to celebrate and relax.

AUWE she offered to sell me an old lei turning brown for $20... next.

Harriet's is the first lei stand on the right as you enter the vendors. I always ask for the price of a lei I'm interested in then ask for the kamaaina discount. Today we purchased 5 orchid leis for our grandson's grandparents tea. One white orchid lei with a red and green ribbon for him. There weren't enough white ones so the other 4 were purple and white. Two had red ribbons for his 2 female teachers, one green ribbon for his male teachers aide and an extra one he chose to give his other grandma. They were all placed in a clear plastic bag and then we sped on to our final destination.

Maile lei and tuberose leis pick up from Harriet's

Since Chinatown was out of my way, coming from the North side of Oahu, Harriet's was the winner. -Very convenient location near the airport. -phone order = easy peasy. You can pay by credit card or cash when you pick up. The lady asks what time she should have the leis ready for pick up. After reading other reviews of the lei stands nearby, I felt more confident that my lei order will be ready for pick up, which it was. I ordered 1 Maile lei and 2 tuberose leis. When we arrived, dad thought the tuberose was plain and asked to add another lei intertwined which she did right then and there no problem. Paid and we were on our way to the plane. The flowers were fresh and not wilting 2 days later. I highly recommend this lei stand. They have a table with a mountain full of leis ready daily.

One thing I love about this lei stand is that Aunty always welcomes me like I'm Ohana, even though she can't possibly remember me from the handful of leis I've purchased here. All of the leis are made daily and never look wilted. They're wonderful about putting bows on in any color requested and will package them together or separately, your choice. You can even have them packed for travel, which I've done before. Prices fluctuate depending on the season (e.g., graduation) but your supporting local and buying fresh. And they always seem to offer a discount if you seem hesitant (better a discounted lei then you going to another stand all together!) or buy more than one.

I'm from Maui so I never knew this place existed until a co-worker of mine told me about it. They are located on the left turn before entering the baggage claim. But be careful, and slow down or else you will miss the little sharp left turn to their lei stand. Harriet's is the very first one when you enter their parking lot. They do have parking spaces right in front of their section. It's like a small strip of various lei stands, not all are occupied, but it's nice to be able to just drive to one section and be able to see your different options. Harriet's Lei Stand offers so many options. I first came here in November for my daughter's birthday and wanted to get her something really nice. Their craftsmanship of creating such a beautiful lei is amazing. If you're from Hawaii they do offer a kama'aina discount on your purchase. For my daughter I did purchase a lei that was 3 strands of different flowers intertwined together. It was slightly heavy, but it was beautiful. I also did go back recently and purchased a white haku for a friend of ours. Very beautiful and at such a good price. I definitely recommend checking this place out. Honestly they do have a better selection then I would have at the places I go to in China Town. If you are looking for something, you can call ahead and they will put it on the side for you.

Harriet's is one of my favorite lei stands at the Honolulu International Airport. It's literally the first stand once you make the turn into the lei stands. You'll be greeted by some of the nice ladies there who'll try their best to accommodate you and your budget. They have a wide variety of leis from the basic orchid lei to the combination of leis including carnations with orchids and tuberose, cigar leis, ginger leis, etc. Since the pandemic, their prices have increased but they're still rather reasonable compared to going to Safeway or Longs for a lei. I purchased a cigar mixed with kukui but lei for $20 and an orchid lei for $8. I love their stand because their leis are pretty fresh and they're always willing to work with your budget and give you a nice price if you want to purchase a more expensive lei. Definitely recommend them if you need a lei for a special occasion:).

Totally convenient place to get your lei before your flights or if you are picking up someone from the airport. Don't bother to make a pitstop in Chinatown or a supermarket because these lei here are fresh and reasonable in price. I will have to warn you that you should decide which lei stand you want to go to and park near that stand before getting out of your car. It's quite an intimidating experience as they compete for each other's business and will try to make eye contact, greet you and start trying to sell. It's like being at the International Market Place when there were those kiosks. You can bargain if you are getting a few. I like that the owner (assuming that's Harriet) recognizes my face and remembers where I work. That level of personalization always makes me prefer her lei stand over the others. Their lei start at $5 for the dendrobium orchid lei and plumeria lei. Their lei with tuberose is $8-$10 for the single strand. Lei go up in price the more fancier and more flowers used. Orchid lei don't smell and anything with ti leaves tends to be stinky. They have pikake and pakalana sold by the strand in the fridge inside, prices vary based on availability of flowers. They also may have haku lei (for your forehead) inside. My absolute favorite lei for how fragrant they are is the puakinikini lei. They usually are $20 but you might find day old ones that have turned more orange (they are originally white or yellow) for $10-$15. Although very great smelling, this lei doesn't last very long as the flowers bruise and fall apart very easily so after a few hugs it looks like you were out after a rough night. Be warned that on Mother's Day and graduation time, prices of lei sky rocket due to supply and demand, as any other lei or flower shop do. On my last visit, when I was getting four lei for a visiting colleague and her family, she had a toddler and I didn't want the lei to be too long. The lady that helped me, shortened the lei to better fit her keiki. What a great personal touch! Go to Harriet's! I am aware that through my review, even when referring to multiple lei, I did not pluralize the word, the Hawaiian language has no plural forms.

    Beautiful ginger lei

I needed a lei for a retirement I went to Longs Drugs, picked a decent looking lei that would be nice for a retirement, only to find out it cost $43 at Longs Drugs and it really wasn't that nice. Like whoa, longs drugs lei prices have gone up and are now crazy expensive. I decided to go to the lei stands at the Honolulu airport. I don't normally come here but really needed something nice. I found out it's best to park in front of a stand that is not open so you don't feel committed to buy from the stand you parked at. I walked around and when I reached Harriet's lei stand, there it was, a beautiful ginger lei w some purple flowers in it for color. That's exactly what I needed. It was only $20 and way nicer than the Longs Drugs lei. I also got to pick a ribbon and they added baby breath near the ribbon, the employee was so nice, helpful and friendly. This lei got many compliments when I brought it to work for the recipient. I will now come here instead of going to Longs Drugs. Not only are the leis half the price as Longs Drugs but way nicer!!!

These two ladies are so rude and acknowledges if you do not buy leis from them-

Yesterday I took my friend to the airport to pick up his daughters he wanted to stop at the lei stand for he's Daughters got stink eye from these two ladies Because he went to the Portuguese lady- Took my daughter to the bathroom came back And this lady on the left felt the need to tell me I can only park here for 10 minutes I turned around and told her well I'm only been here for five- So that means I got five more minutes- Besides my friend who's a paying customer is still getting his leis And I'm waiting on him so you don't have to be rude and acknowledges Because we did not do business with you she rolled her eyes and shut her mouth- Hawai'i is about having the aloha spirit these two ladies do not have that aloha spirit

Fancy tri-color spiral orchid, Cigar w/ Kikuyus and mock orange, mock orange w/ Kukui and shell.

They were busy. Ok to call ahead to order the also had plenty of tuberose combined with orchid and carnation in colorful combinations. They offer to leaf and single orchid as well. Check the petals freshness.

Thank you, Twinsie "Auntie" Nadine C., for showing me love and introducing me to tuberose. I am a HUGE fan of tuberose now! I was thoughtfully blessed with some leis here and wow do I feel loved! Gorgeous, fragrant, and they lasted the whole trip with a light spritz of water in a bag and popped into the refrigerator. I even got to check the place out while we were leaving Chinatown. It's a cozy shop and you can tell they are very much well loved. What else can be said? Come here and get all your leis here. Nothing like getting lei'd by Cindy. This place is a daffodil-ight!

My father brought a huge corporate account to Cindys, which they made A LOT of money from. He had a personal relationship with the owners, which kept us loyal for decades. After my father passed, the company cut tie with Cindy's. I was devastated and didn't understand why. Cindy's always gave us the best service. Recently I found out why relations were cut. Cindy's has really changed and no longer provides the great customer service they once did. I placed a very important order for an event on the mainland to be shipped out and arrive a day before the event. I placed the order over a month in advance and was promised it would be just fine and well taken care of. Well, when the week of the event came, I called every day, multiple times a day, just to confirm everything. They won't answer their phones. I sent emails and messages through their website. Those also went unanswered. I even went to the store in person before work at 6am, nut it wasn't open yet. I had no way of getting in touch with them and wondered if they had shut down. I had to go on the faith that they have always provided us stellar service in the past. I was so wrong. Cindy's completely forgot to send my order at all, and left me without anything, the day before the event. The amount of stress I went through trying to find a florist on the mainland to provide lei was insane. Cindy's finally answered my many messages the day before. They said they could try to overnight my order that they forgot, but there were no promises it would get there on time, since the event was on a Saturday. I still have not been sent a receipt from them, which I asked for multiple times, or confirmation of the mailing. The lei did go, and my credit card got a huge charge, but without the receipt, I don't even know what I paid them for. And really, after all they put us through, they should have comped the order. My dad would be rolling in his grave to know how far downhill the company that he loved to support has gone. As for me, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I do truly hope they can get it together and grow back into the great company they once were.

Up until now, they've always done a great job, but this recent experience for Mother's Day was extremely disappointing. First, the delivery driver brought the wrong bouquet. I paid $209.41 (including delivery), but my mom received a bouquet that was clearly not what I ordered later confirmed to be a lower priced arrangement. I had to call customer service, who then contacted the driver immediately. While I appreciate that they responded quickly, it still took about 47 minutes for the driver to return, take back the incorrect bouquet, and retrieve the correct one from the truck. When the correct arrangement finally arrived, the presentation was still off. The vase was too short for the flowers, making the bouquet look unbalanced and like it was falling out. For over $200, I expected much better attention to detail and quality. On top of that, the company advertised "free delivery," but that only applied to very limited areas on the island. I still had to pay a delivery fee despite the initial mistake being entirely on their end, which felt misleading. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion like Mother's Day. I've had good experiences before, but this one really missed the mark.
