I'm sad I've even gotta leave a bad review but I've gotta warn others. Took my truck in about two months ago they pull the cover of my rear differential. An I'm assuming had a fake video of a messed up differential with a chip in a gear. Saying I need to have it rebuilt 4500 plus. So before spend that amount of money had my work mechanic look into it. There was not a chip in any of my gears all looked brand new. Only problem he found was the carrier bearing was shoot. Could be cause it looks like I'm from outta state no matter what the reasoning is bad business is bad business read more

Ram 2500 with def heater issue. they traced the wires and found a chewed wire buried under the fuse box. Fixed and road tested ok the same day. local ram dealer is not capable of this excellent class of service. I know this first hand from previous attempts to get service at the dealer. We are in the process of purchasing a used Mercedes Benz in Show Low AZ from a dealer. We live in West Palm Beach, Florida. We are not local. Other than talking to the salesman and viewing the car from pictures he has sent us we have not seen the car. We called Harris Automotive and spoke with the owner Sam. We had 2 cars parked outside our home. When we got in to both cars, the check engine lights were both on. We took our cars to Harris Automotive and we could not have had better service. We pulled in at 3:30pm (they close at 5:30pm) and Dan immediately took care of the first car. Rats had chewed through our engine wires. He was able to repair the wires quickly. He then began work on the 2nd car. This car took more time to repair as the wires were less accessible. Not only was Dan super helpful but the front office staff was very accommodating and super friendly. read more

I had made multiple appointments with Harris Automotive to have a breathalyzer installed. The day of the first appointment they canceled on me telling me that they never received the installation kit. This was after a month of waiting for this appointment. I made another appointment that was another month out and again on the day of the appointment they stated that they are no longer able to do these kinds of installments and referred us to another company that could. Thank you for wasting our time, and trying to rip us off. Harris was going to charge over $200 to have it installed. The new company only charges $65 for installation. Harris Automotive is a joke and has zero interest in helping their customers. read more

If I could give Harris Automotive 10 Stars I would but they only allow me to give them five. Harris charges less than half the amount per hour of other shops and they actually do the repairs whereas other shops sometimes don't. I was charged 250 dollars by North Mesa automotive for a repair to my 4 wheel drive. North Mesa charged me 250 dollars. I got up here and needed the 4 wheel drive but it didn't work because they broke the part during the installation and just shoved the vacume lines into it. But at Harris they fixed the problem for 100 dollars and now my 4 wheel drive works again. Signed John Tod Show low Az read more

Really disappointing experience with this shop. They don't have a warranty to cover the $1800 timing chain repair they did incorrectly (left plastic guides in the oil pan). This caused my engine to starve of oil according to the dealership and another independent mechanic. It is very likely that Harris Automotive caused an oil pressure drop and engine damage. I was really counting on them after breaking down in Show Low and they didn't come through. They seem to just keep blaming me but I'm rather certain that a poorly done repair ruined my engine. Now I need a new car/engine and am out $1800. They keep trying to point to patch repair another mechanic did that I was unaware of, but that had nothing to do with plastic timing pieces blocking the oil pick-up tube. Also, I waited over a month and had to drive back and forth to Show Low from Colorado. Really upsetting, time consuming and costly. I don't recommend this company at all especially if you are out of town or getting a big repair. They won't guarantee their work and will drop concern for you the minute you have a problem. read more

Came in on a late afternoon with our small RV in need of repair. They were wonderful. They found us a place to park, diagnosed the problem and ordered parts that same day.
