    Expired batteries.

Overall I had a pleasant shopping experience here and could find what needed . However when I got home I discovered they had sold me hearing aid batteries that were best by March of 2021? I bought these on November 30, 2024! How is that even possible? I guess I need to learn to watch the things I grab rather than trust the store...

BUYER BEWARE. I understand it's Covid, raining New Year and their busy yet get your ACT honest. No need to be sorry or give an excuse. JUST BE FAIR. I home delivered items that was not in the drop off. On top of it the salmon fillet was less than 1 pounds. We have to drive there after 1 hour of the drop off to use their produce scale in store. We are right less than a pound. Then charged us 1.52 lbs for $$ ? We did not open the package till it was refunded and brought back home( they have/can't take back fresh seafood). Inside is this....stare at the image/price/weight/label. Tell you butcher area this is Salmon Steak and not fillet. Mistake but honest ? Luckily I did not open the package in front of the Customer Service counter that was no one in sight. I have to flag a cashier and was told they are busy ? Am I not a customer that just paid for your mistakes and need service ?...... One more thing. I was told he can't give me credits 'coz the items are not on hand to be rang ? I have to go get them and bring it to him ? Hello.....your standing in the CUSTOMER SERVICE counter ? Visibly upset.....HE END UP DOING IT WITH THRU RECEIPT (OBVIOUSLY CAN THE ITEM NUMBERS ARE THERE PRINTED) was that magic ? Not even a word from him. ( I know that ain't his fault..It's Harris Teeter Manger to train your employees well)..... Will never trust you again..... Store manager I know your off that day New Years DAY...EXPLAIN IF YOUR READING THIS ? Note...I took Salmon Fillet ? back home than going to waste but that ain't a compromise. It's Salmon Steak....that I did not hope to have. Sure you credited me back...what happened to my bag of sugar, frozen corn & bananas ? Ruin our New Year prep for lunch. My guest are staring at you....

If Harris Teeter was a person, I'd give it a hug! I love the fresh produce, the hard to find unique items. They sell a large amount of items for ppl with dietary restrictions. Gluten free, vegan, non dairy etc. They are always fully stocked and someone does a great job of "straight facing" the shelves! I used to work retail in high school . They usually have more than one cashier working and the self check out is always operable. This makes getting in and out of the store a plus! All in all, I love Harris Teeter and oh when they have good sales, they really are on items you would want to buy.

The line for self check out was down the isle

This location is close to where I live , most times I come , the lines are extremely long . They will have self check out and the line is down the isle , and maybe one actual cashier. I came to grab some water and some vegetables, the produce section was less than appetizing . The produce section was not stocked and it looked picked over , like how a store looks when the media announces the approach of a storm , the section was empty .

They're ALWAYS out of everything I frequently buy, or only have little supply. Just one example is organic fruits and veggies, and if they're not out then they're moldy. I asked once about a certain kind of almond milk that I always buy after going to the store 7 days in a row. I asked manager if they stopped carrying it and he went to the back to check and they gave me 1 bottle, guess they just forgot to restock it?? I don't know, but it's ridiculous. Its a shame because it's walking distance from my house, but I've decided to start going to Shoppers instead from now on. That way I don't have to go to multiple grocery stores to just get everything I need. Update: Decided to go back to get a specific tea. Stash special Christmas teas. When I found it the 1st time the stand was by the self checkout near the end of the aisle w/ the teas. Went in there to find it again and had to walk around the entire store to find them. This time they were by the dog food! Why?? Why does this store feel the need to CONSTANTLY move things around?! Do you know how frustrating it is to find items when they keep moving things? The tortilla stand is always in a different place every single time I go in there for example, and there was one time a few mths ago when they completely rearranged all the aisles. This Harris Teeter drives me mad, just please leave things where they are & where they make sense to find Please.

only 4 lanes open right now and all of them r stretched down the aisles. I can't believe they would sit here and watch this instead of opening other lanes. Unbelievable!! They are always busy in the evenings and should b better prepared. Only giving them 2 stars because they have a good selection of food

Floral Arrangement, purple/pink & white theme.

My experience with the floral department was amazing. The arrangement Anna put together was beautiful, after we had a vague conversation about what I liked/preferred for the arrangement she outdid my expectations. She made it happen flawlessly even despite my shabby description, 10/10 service, and my mom loved the arrangement.

The 5lb kale bag is a great find. See this recipe on the back. Pick up spinach fettuccine in the front of the store!

I came here to check out the "new" grocery store...although we have 4 in a two mile strip. I came once and basically never left. There are such gems here. The produce section, where I spend most of my time, has a great selection with great prices, its always fresh, great veggie/organic frozen section. They have more section in the aisles as well, a great variety for gourmet cooking, healthy cooking ingredients, etc. I also like the beauty/convenience store area. The lines are normally short, and there is always staff to help with the self check-out lines. I really like the HT brand as well. Tip....get the 5lb kale bag and the spinach fettuccine right by the sliding doors and whatever sauce you want. The recipe is on the back. Fantastic!!! I'll add a pic.

This establishment is small and neat, with a strangely sparse amount of product on their shelves. Very strange. I was there for the jab, so I informed the tech of my purpose. I then went to be seated in an area with four other gentlemen there for the same reason. About five minutes in, the tech called one of the men up and informed him that they were unable to administer his Pfizer shot because of "some needle issue". The man was instructed to go to another location somewhere else in Laurel. The three other men were called up - one by one - and told the same thing. Naturally, I went to ask whether this needle issue also impacted me, a Moderna vaccine recipient. Nope, they had it. With much relief that I didn't make a blank trip to Laurel, I got the shot. This entire experience begged the question, why didn't the tech inform the previous four men about the needle issue when they first got there? And since each appointment was scheduled, why wouldn't the pharmacy have called the men to let them know before they drove there?

I had one day to do this as I was nearing the deadline for arrivals. Being in the Laurel area I decided to stop here first in hopes of grabbing everything I needed. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot and saw how many vehicles were there and how hard it was to navigate, I should have headed elsewhere. I didn't follow my gut feeling and went inside. It took me a while to browse the shelves to find the appropriate aisle I needed. I did find one medication on the shelf right away. The others were behind the pharmacy counter. I only found this out after going into the aisle that was packed with people waiting to pick up medications to grab the cards for the items I needed. I diligently stood in that line, waiting my turn. This line moved slower than lava approaching the shoreline. I stood there and noticed that the one pharmacy tech had two registers open to deal with the line of customers. Minding my own business, clinching my jaw, listening to the worsening, under-their-breath, comments from the person behind me, I was finally at the register. I handed over the two cards to the lady to grab from behind the counter and waited. She went to the area where they should have been and shouted from there to me that they didn't have it. I had grabbed the store brand card and asked if they had the name brand. Another shout, no. Then they asked me if I wanted something that wasn't even what I was looking for. I politely declined. When the pharmacy tech approached me she again told me they didn't have it. I know, I was here as well as the twenty other customers. She then told me that I could go next door to their competitor to see if they had it. She joked about how they didn't have it and was making light of the fact that I just stood in this line for about a half hour to not receive what I wanted. Her response was something along the lines of, oh well, not my fault. I then said to her, the least you could do is remove the cards from the shelf so people don't stand here in hopes of fulfilling their need to be told it's not available. Simple, and I wouldn't have wasted my time, nearly an hour at that point in this store. Needless to say. I made my way outside with the one item they did have and headed towards their competitor.

Prescriptions are never ready on time, no matter how far in advance they're sent. Expect to wait--either in line or on hold--for an unreasonable amount of time just to be told they've "run out" of your medication or "didn't receive" the prescription, even when you have confirmation that it was sent. The staff is either overwhelmed or uninterested. Communication is vague at best, and downright dismissive at worst. On multiple visits, I've seen people leave frustrated after being told to come back hours later--only to repeat the same cycle. If you rely on timely, accurate prescriptions for your health, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This place is more of a liability than a convenience. Looking for a place where your prescription will magically vanish into thin air? Where waiting 45 minutes in line earns you nothing but attitude and an empty-handed walk of shame? Congratulations -- you've found it! Every visit here is like a fun little game: Will they have my meds? Will anyone acknowledge me? Will I leave angry? (Spoiler alert: yes to the last one.) The staff seems genuinely confused that people come here expecting service. Calling ahead? Don't bother -- you'll either be on hold until you question your will to live, or told the prescription was "just sent" even though it was sent yesterday. It's almost impressive how consistently unhelpful this place is. Honestly, if my health didn't depend on this, I'd almost admire the commitment to dysfunction.
