I'm not the most tech-savvy person around so I didn't think it was going to be this easy, but it was. The employee that assisted me was extremely friendly and took care of everything for me very easily. They didn't charge me anything and sent me on my way with my new phone ready to go. Then when I called to disconnect those lines, Verizon somehow disconnected MY actual phone number instead while still trying to keep hotspot charges on my account. The constant hidden fees, billing mistakes, activation charges, and "upgrade fees" on supposedly "free" phones are beyond ridiculous. Why is a customer of nearly three decades still being charged activation and upgrade fees? Meanwhile, my daughter switched to T-Mobile, paid zero activation fees, zero upgrade fees, kept her phone, and her bill was exactly what she was promised. Imagine that... honesty and competent customer service. Verizon clearly no longer values loyalty, because long-term customers are treated like walking wallets instead of valued customers. I walked into the store about 12:05 PM. They had just opened there was one customer in there, so I waited for Jorge to come out and assist. He seemed like he was an honest person that worked for Spectrum and told me the pod had been removed from my account and he canceled that. He tried to offer me two free lines of service told me that would be free. I would just have to pay for the phone. I told him no thank you I was not interested and that was that. He told me he cannot give me a receipt right then and there, but would be happy to email it to me once he completed everything on my account and told me look out for an email. About 20 minutes later I had already left. I noticed an email from Spectrum.I did not pay any attention to it because I thought it was my receipt for returning the Pod. An hour later, I received two more emails from Spectrum saying my service order has been updated. I thought this was an email notifying me that my pod that I had returned has been received however surprisingly it was an email showing that I had added multiple services to my account that I knew nothing about and did not agree to! Never was even talked to me about adding TV service or anything else other than adding two cell phone lines and I told him no. I immediately called customer service because I did not want to drive back up there and cuss him out because I felt so upset and frustrated that a representative in the store or even over the phone would do something like this! This is uncalled for and very unprofessional! The supervisor Dominic that I spoke with over the phone assured me that the additional services that I had not asked for or even were offered have been removed my account and everything is back to what I previously had. If anyone goes to the store Do not let Jorge Reyes assist you! Because if you do, you will leave with the service services not added to your account. Dominic, who was a supervisor in the call center was very helpful however.

Took my computer for a screen replacement that was supposed to be a few days. Though he received two faulty screens, he did a terrible job notifying me or keeping me updated for weeks. He did give me a loaner for free when the days became weeks and even months. The shop is closed at all sorts of odd times when they are supposed to be open. He said he had medical issues which I empathize with (have my own right now too), but he was unreachable by phone or in person for days. When I finally took my repaired laptop home (literally months later), several keys didn't work. I immediately called him to let him know. I figured maybe something wasn't reconnected correctly or had been bumped and was loose. He was offended that I accused him of damaging the keyboard, insisted that he hadn't taken the keyboard apart, and "refused to be responsible." I never accused him of any of those things. He offered to give me a break on labor, but said he would take a look at it to see what might be wrong and to bring it in the next day after noon. I showed up around 1pm the next day when the shop was supposed to be open and, unsurprisingly, he was not there and the door was locked. That was weeks ago and he never contacted me back. I then found a YouTube video addressing the issue, took the keyboard apart myself, disconnected the ribbon and reconnected it and, lo and behold, all the keys worked fine. The connection really was just loose. I love supporting local businesses. Just can't go back to this one again.
