This Thriftway has totally lost my business due to that percentage of lazy, thieving, incompetent staff working there.

This sucks for the locals but it is common with all businesses in Ocean Shores. I recommend shopping at Costco for your staples before going on vacation in Ocean Shores. It's not uncommon to pay almost $10 for a bag of chips. Just a warning. The service is a hit or miss depending on the time of day and season. The staff can get tired of tourists and not be as friendly. The selection is limited due to the remote location of Ocean Shores. This means if you are looking for special ethnic foods and vegetables, you maybe out of luck. Bring these items from home. I am SE Asian and the selection was lacking as far as fresh herbs and greens go. I was missing many sauces over the years for stir fry like sesame seed oil, hunan, and chili oil. I drove to Olympia for Jasmine rice purchased 100lbs at a time. The deli is pricey but there is only one McDonalds in town and no other fast food options. Most the restauarants are $20 or more per entree. Hence the deli fried chicken and warn foods will look less expensive. The JoJos friend chicken is popular along with the potatoes wedges.

The tech told me that if it wasn't able to be repaired they only had one tire in stock. She said they would have to check all 4 tires to see if they had the proper amount of tread on them before being able to look at the flat. When I told her I didn't want that and I only came in to have a that specific tire replaced she said I would have to leave the premises and take the tire off and bring it in as a "walk in" If I could do that I could've just changed the tire myself! So I decided to take my money else where! I understand the rules and regulations and it's not the workers rules, but this is seriously getting ridiculous. I'm a big fan of locally owned and opposed shops of all flavors in small towns - they just hit different - and this place is a prime example of that. Cute, as expected decor and some random touristy things. A very basic selection of food and some fresh produce, which given the setting did not look bad at all (honestly, giving Safeway a run for their quality money) And the best part - the staff. You can tell their og to the area and proud of it. I love that! Being from a small town myself, I appreciate authentic Americans working in their little towns across the country, loving where they come from, it makes me so happy to see.

I'm the owner of Bigelow transport and we have several trucks going up and down the highway. I stopped with my truck. I pulled up far enough to where I wasn't blocking her parking lot. The space is out in front of the store and I left enough room in front of the truck so I was not blocking the entrance to the post office or her parking was nobody in the parking spaces. It's raining I walked in whomever the lady was asked me if that was your truck out front and I said yes it is and she says you're blocking my parking spaces and she started to tell me how I needed to move the truck because I was blocking her parking spaces and I was blocking the whole parking lot again. I've been doing this for years. I didn't block anything I didn't block the front of the store. I didn't block her parking spaces and I find it very rude and disrespectful to a customer who is just coming in the store for maybe the second time in 10 years wanting to buy something in the store was nobody around there was two customers inside as well. The lady was so rude and disrespectful towards me that I left the store. Her allegations were false. There was absolutely no merit to what she said. I find it completely and totally unacceptable if she's the owner shame on her if she's an employee, she needs to be fired.
